Kudos for the Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Chiveard Discovering Potential Framework (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great exclusive product for finding your true calling and achieving success without the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my close friend Aubrey got cool success with it.
As a person who is gay, dealing with several illnesses with a couple of them causing chronic pain, and who left the Christian faith to identify as a Secular Humanist, this video touches me as someone in the midst of my pain feels a call to serving life and God.
Carlton Coleman That makes me very happy to hear. You may very well know this and don’t need me to remind you, but just in case, I want you to know that God doesn’t love you any less because you are gay. God loves all that God has created. Peace and good to you.
You are loved into being, and loved every day of your life. Sometimes (most times) you might not hear that from His Church enough, but YOU ARE awesomely loved and made in the image and likeness of THE AWESOME ONE who never makes mistakes! I'll possibly get in to trouble about this... but actually I don't care: you - a multi-layered, fascinating, patchwork masterpiece of God's creation, one part of which is your sexuality - can swim through the tirade of abuse, and feeling of unwelcome, the exclusion (spoken and unspoken) that so many Christians shower down and STILL seek to serve God, and seek after God's heart, and feel God's love for you be so so so assured that His love for you is pretty awesomely amazing and His call on your life will complete your life and bless our broken wounded world mightily. Be blessed brother
Jesus always preached about tolerance and love. I believe it's not about your sexuality (which I'm sure you didn't even choose) but how much you love and help others. And I'm sure God can see through your heart and only care about that. May God bless you with a very happy life.
I love this religious man. Thank you for the New Evangelization. You help me be a better and informed Catholic. May God bless your work so it bears fruits as numerous as the stars
The Catholic religion is a false end time religion. How can you believe that pope. He literally tells us having a personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous? No he is Anti Christ and that is what is dangerous. Can you see the evil on his eyes? I sure can. If you watch the video of him letting the bird go you'll see the sign. Do not do it.
That's not of GOD, only a true relationship with CHRIST with no middle man will save your soul. Do not be deceived Sister. I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT brings you conviction and leads you to the truth of JESUS CHRIST. You do not need a middle man, go straight to the throne of our HOLY GOD, JEHOVA, LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, CREATOR OF EVERYTHING. Repent from your sins, ask GOD to give you clarity that religion does not please GOD, faith does, faith in the one and only savior JESUS CHRIST a personal relationship with him without the need of bells and whistles, or a middle man. He doesn't care about your rituals, he is risen, he is no longer on the cross. He wants true repentance of sin and surrender of mind, body and soul. He wants to spend time with you, so he can reveal to you where you really belong in the BODY OF CHRIST. Do not be fooled sister, no one can pray for you once you're dead and there is no purgatory. The only one that can intercede for you in the heavens or the earth is JESUS himself. Your "father" is no holier than what you can become once you spend time with GOD and enter into his presence. Praise be to ALMIGHTY GOD AND JESUS THE LORD AND SAVIOR OF OUR LIVES.
Conspiracy Nikkikimmi no is not. Having a calling to te religious life is a calling to a lot of things. Who can have the courage to give everything for Jesus? You give everything?! Is not us, is for God’s will.
If becoming a nun will bring closer to the Lord, do it not for the sake of religion but for the sake of being closer to the Lord. I'd like to think religion is just a guidance / accountability but your relationship with God matters the most.
I am 31 and always had some belief but every time I would feel that belief getting stronger I would always try to put it out of my mind because every time I would talk to friends and family about it they would shoot me down and make fun of me but now I feel that tug again and feel that belief and feel God tugging at my heart and this time I refuse to let it go and am going to open up and let God into my heart and let him lead me..I am ready Jesus Christ..I am ready to be moved by the greatness that I feel
Hey I am discerning the Call to priesthood for the Catholic Church I want to become a priest even though I say yes. I am not so well educated or qualified for this service to God but I know in my heart that he calls me and I can do all things he ask me to do... So why not !? Please do pray for me everyone here! That I may join a seminary as my education is really messed up though, God uses me in artistic ways as I can sing, play guitar, draw, paint , will stand up for Jesus even when no one will. I feel this enormous grace showering upon me these last past days it's been really beautiful as it used to be when I accepted Christ as my saviour in 2014 March during Retreat in Delhi. I am excited about these coming days as I can see a spark in me to burn and consume ready to set 🔥 fire in this whole world as saint Catherine said it. Jesus is so Awesome that I can sing for him and speak for him every moment!! Keep on doing this good work Brother will remember you in my prayer! Thanks a lot Love you so much !! From India.
God had calling me since 2006 I moved to lived in NZ I run the business but my heart wasn’t in the shop. The overwhelming desire just wanted to tell people about Jesus Christ. During over 10 years have no real peace. I decided to stop running shop . Shop has been sold The voice of god has come to me again Again this time I step out in faith despite what peeps think I can’t do this Of course I can’t . But god who called me can . But when I open my mouth to teach people about god . oh boy touch their heart . People had come to told me . The holy sprit did the job .
U brought tears to my eyes dear father..n i really thank God that i responded to Him when He called...though unworthy i m..He raises me up always..God bless you always 😇😇

Im 16 and thinking about joining a catholic order when Im older. But Im still carefully evaluating monastery life. I still got time. This video helped, thanks a lot.
Ask a nun to be a spiritual advisor , pray from your heart to Jesus and ask him to change you into who he wants you to be, to take you from where you are and put you in the centre of his perfect will for you. He will show you in time and put people in your path. God bless you and keep you. Tony From Ireland
Study nursing, physio therapy, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, nutrition, medical technology, speech therapy, hospital administration, clinical psychology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, radiologic technology, medicine, and if the calling persists, try entering the Order of St. Camillus Ministers of the Infirm of the sick and the dying and see Jesus amongst the sick just like the good Samaritan. Be infected with Jesus and be a Camillian with white and red cross.
WHATEVER you do. Please don't join the CATHOLIC ORDER. They aren't biblical, they are demonic and are part of THE NEW WORLD ORDER, THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT AND THE MARK OF THE BEAST. Please read the BIBLE, if YOU TRUELY WANT TO FOLLOW OUR WONDERFUL CREATOR LORD GOD, then follow exactly what it says in the BIBLE. Learn to walk like JESUS did on the Earth, spreading GODS true gospel, the TRUE CHURCH is of GODS FOLLOWERS and living how JESUS did on Earth. You can find this out by reading the gospels of MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN. God CALLS his people out of the world and the Churches here on Earth, ran by men. We save SOULS by spreading THE LORDS WORD , GOD warns us in the BIBLE, not to take away or to add to his word. Please do NOT join the CATHOLIC MOVEMENT, they are EVIL and speak blasphemy of OUR SAVIOUR. JESUS CHRIST. May The LORD GOD bless you. I will NOT answer to RUDE OR NASTY people. I'm here to SPEAK GODS TRUTH.
Luzerner, you do have plenty of time for the Lord to show you your home... that place where your heart finds peace, where your gifts are celebrated, and your "not so great" points find acceptance! Plenty of time for the Lord to show you that place you can call home with faithful friends who you are ready to share your Yes with! My advice? Give your "yes" to Jesus today - to whatever and to wherever. It's the call of Abraham, Moses, David, John the Baptist, Mary: say yes, with no idea where it is going to lead you, and let the adventure with the Lord begin! Speak and open your heart to Jesus (and give Him a chance to answer back :-)). Seek wise and generous and kind men and women of faith to walk with you... be easy on yourself... but say yes! Whatever God's call is in your life? That is the call that will bring you joy and contentment. That is the call that the Lord will bless your life with, and change the world with! And if you are already asking the question... he already has your answer!! "Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter: whoever finds one has found a treasure. Faithful friends are beyond price; no amount can balance their worth. Faithful friends are life-saving medicine; and those who fear the Lord will find them" (Sirach 6:14-16)
I think you need to think with your heart instead of your head. Pray to God for guidance, for help. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the tools to understand. When God calls it "burns" your soul, it's a call you can't renounce, and that's what every nun I've talked to have told me. I hope you're very happy in your path.
Wow Casey! Because of your obedience to serve Christ and your inspiring and encouraging words and wisdom beyond your years, you are an encourager for all people, with faith and those without faith. Thank you for your caring, sharing and loving commitment 🙌
This is a great video thank you. I don’t know what I am supposed to do for the Lord but I do know I have to do something. Recently a Franciscan vicar arrived at my church and he is taking my worship to another level! I am hopeful things will become clearer🙏
Thank You for this video Brother! Really wish I had seen it before than learn it the hard way! .. On my way to answering God's call now.. Here I am, Lord...
I’m a senior girl in high school discerning the religious life. Don’t really know where I’m supposed to go, what I’m supposed to do, and what path I’m supposed to take...but im trying my best to trust in God’s plan. It’s difficult but when I saw this video it helped me a bit. Thank you for this :)
I have watched many of your videos since I discovered this channel last week. This one may be your best. I understand and applaud the goal in many of your videos, including the final line in this one, to encourage people to explore religious life. But, your message that people are called in different ways to serve is an important one. Everyone can do a better job to serve God and world through his or her work and way of life. There is a Supreme Court case from the 1960s where the Court was trying to define pornography that was outside the protection of the First Amendment. Justice Potter Stewart, much to the ridicule of many legal scholars, wrote: “I know it when I see it.” Finding the right way for you to serve is the same thing. I was fortunate that I found a profession that clicked with me and has given me great happiness over the years while doing good for society. There is no one right way and you cannot serve well if you pursue a path that does not fit or if you resist a path that does fit you. The brown robe would not have fit me just the same way that a lawyer’s pinstriped suit likely would not have fit you.
Now I understand why God called me three months ago. I was a non-practicing Catholic all my life, and all I sudden, I had this want to be a seminarian three months ago when I finished the Holy Bible and watched videos about A Day of A Seminarian here on RUclips. During these times, I was also aware I was not qualified to be one, but it was okay.
This is the perfect topic. Young, Old, Married, Single. We all have a part, a place in God’s roll in not only our lives, but how we may be called to change the lives of others. I think how each of us should pray for what we are to accomplish in this world as apostles for Christ. We all need to pray for the will of God to work through us. No matter if we are married, single, we all have an important roll as Roman Catholics, as Christians, as those selected by Christ.
Thank you so much Br.Casey. This is what many of us needed to hear. Many who hesitated years ago really have no excuse today, as there are various options open to us. I hope to explore the OCDS. Blessings on your life and work.
Fr. Casey, Recently, I found myself watching your videos as a way of further reflecting my vocation to a religious life. I am already a young professional, have a stable job as a teacher, but I found something empty inside. My desire for a religious/priestly life is so strong that it seems to overpower my own doubts about my own worthiness. I am constantly praying nowadays as I found this void painful to bear. Unfortunately, finances and debts caused some delay to finally take my first strides of searching in. I thank you for giving me some sort of a "guide" to reflect and I am humbly asking your prayers that God may grant me strength and enlightenment.
A dear Nun friend once told me that, it seemed that God is calling, however, me wanting the worldly pleasures to explore and experienced, never turn around. But God has his ways; i lived in a place where certain souls needs to be evangelize. There are no words to described how many people i came across with that draw us closer together because of our common commitment to serve God. And looking back now, whenever certain situations has brought me to a place i dont want to be or certain situations that i have no control: i looked up to Christ in Adoration chapel and there he was, waiting and i have my answers.
When I was 15 I told my mother that I was meant to be something in my life and I would suffer as I was not going to do it. I am 43 and I am suffering now. I have asked our father for a sign that I must give up my "life" and fulfil my vocation of becoming a priest/brother. He has given me a few subtle signs recently. However, nothing short of a bolt of lightening from our father will make me certain that this is the path that father wants me to follow. Please say a prayer that I receive unequivocal assurance from our father.
It seems to me it is you who should speak to a vocations officer. Don't worry 6 years of studying theology and philosophy in a seminary will suit you well I think.
You are very young. Of course you will lack courage, but remember God calls those who are not perfect and do not yet have all they need to fulfil their vocation, Your vocation director will be very pleased to speak to you,. It is better that you act on your calling when you are young and material things don't matter so much. You are so lucky!
I said the same (some days I still sort of do :-)). We fear what we don't know. I lived a decent enough life that never gave me contentment. I was good at what I did - I was a youth minister so I could tick the box saying I was even doing God's work! But I'd come home in the evening and when I turned the computer off and stopped 'doing', I was left with that huge hole of "who am I?" This question is not a question of what you will do, but a question of who you are called to be - not to be different, but to be truly and honestly completely you! I finally said yes forever just a month ago, after fighting the Lord for thirty odd years! Is every day perfect?? Heck, no! But do I finally feel "home"? Yeah, I do. I don't feel completely me yet, but every day I feel one more piece of the puzzle has fallen in to place! You aren't suffering because you didn't say yes to a call 30 years ago. God loves you, in your free will and that doesn't stop because you haven't said yes to a call to consecrated life yet. He calls those who He loves, not the other way round. Nothing you can do can stop God loving you less, and nothing you can do to make Him love you any more... God is love! He's loved you into being, and he dreams a future for you were His joy in you can and will be complete! You aren't going to receive unequivocal assurance. I'm sure Br. Casey would say the same - I was "unequivocally assured walking up the aisle for my final vows!!! But you do have his unequivocal love... let that empower you to give your (sometimes wobbly) yes, and let Him use that to reveal His plan for you. Open your heart to Jesus - honestly and openly speak to Him and let Him answer you. Get to know Him in His Word! Find a brother friend: we're busy, but never too busy to share our heart with someone suffering or seeking God's call. Find one near you... Take a bite of courage and email book a coffee and let the adventure continue... And once more: God loves you. He is not punishing you because you didn't feel courageous enough to take the step that very few 14 year olds ever do. But the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. (Romans 11)
I _want_ God to call me, but I'm currently housebound and have no money for getting onto courses to gain qualifications. Also, I wouldn't know _how_ to recognise it as God’s call, even if He did call me for something (short of a _very_ lucid dream that I don’t immediately forget upon waking up). I _thought_ I was called for a life in the church, but I was let down, or betrayed by others in my local church, who were mostly older, ’phobic folk! It’s also a *Church of England* parish, but my _heart_ has recently been feeling a strong "pull" or "attraction" (for want of a better word) towards my nearest *_Catholic_* church! In my heart I _feel_ Catholic! As soon as I can afford a new wheelchair, I’ll be giving said Catholic church a visit, to see if they’ll let me "become" a Catholic, despite my mobility & memory issues, and whether or not my baptism & confirmation via the CoE church counts as valid!
@@Etheranex Lazarus wad one of Jesus's friend. He had an illness and soon died. Jesus appeared at the cave his body was put in (Dead bodies used to be put in caves) He said "Rise Lazarus." He also said a few more things. Then, Jesus opened the cave and Lazarus was jumping around as his body was wrapped with bandages.
cuinn837 just keep listening. God is like a GPS; he gives us turn-by-turn instructions. We most likely won’t see the final destination, the whole picture, until we die and we’re in heaven with God. Keep listening, and follow his instructions as best you can. And may God bless you! 💝
Anybody that's called was called before this world was made, we don't choose God he chooses us. When God calls you he puts the hunger in you to seek and find him. Deu 4:29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. Jer 29:12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. Jer 29:13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Joh 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you may ask the Father in My name He may give to you. Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Rom 9:11 Yet before their children had been born or had done anything good or bad (so that God's plan of election might continue to operate Rom 9:12 according to his calling and not by actions), Rebecca was told, "The older child will serve the younger one." Rom 8:28 We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan. Rom 8:29 God knew them before he made the world. And he decided that they would be like his Son. Then Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters. Rom 8:30 God planned for them to be like his Son. He chose them and made them right with him. And after he made them right, he gave them his glory. Peace in Christ
I love this. Jesus loves you. It seems hubris to profess our love for GOD, but accepting His love for us is quite interesting. I hope people remember that GOD sacrificed Himself for us.
I wish about the last sentence. I've often thought of becoming a religious during my life, but I'd always get cold feet. I know how important and fulfilling it is, but I also get scared I'm not strong enough for the sacrifices you have to make.
When I was at high school I really wanted to become an Augustinian Friar. However, I didn’t think I was good enough or clever enough. My priest tried to encourage me to join the priesthood, but he said that I would essentially become a figure of authority in people’s lives as a leader and giving them advice. And this put me off. I didn’t see myself as a leader (still don’t, decades later). It’s my greatest regret in life that I didn’t follow my calling and become a priest.
I’ve been wrestling with what seems to be a call for decades. I feel I can’t do it alone. I’m too old to join an order… I don’t trust my inclinations - I wonder if I am the cursed servant who cowardly buried his talent. Because I do have fear. In my regular life I’m pretty bold but when it comes to the faith I just don’t seem to have the support I need to go forward. There are so many folks who say they represent the faith- some of them are very off- not really defending the faith at all. I wouldn’t ever want to be/do anything like that. 😊
It actually does. First, the hands of the laity are not consecrated to touch Our Lord. Second, they undergo no ablution. Third, many consecrated hosts were kept and used in sacrilegal rituals. Communion in tongue was an invention in Nordic countries in the XXth Century, and Pope Paul VI, somehow trying to avoid a rebellion, granted it as a concession for situations that were supposed to be EXCEPTIONAL. But communion in tongue is preferred and should be encouraged. Aside from this, many congratulations for your channel!
I guess I want to go a bit deeper into this. Why do one's hands need to be consecrated to touch the host? As you say, this was not the case for the first 10 centuries of the Church, and is not putting something in one's mouth and eating it a more intimate form of touch than placing it one's hands? I wonder why there is such a need for purity in this ritual when the reception of the Eucharist is itself a form of absolution from sin.
Yes! He is. And I don't know what to do. He has taken me on a long journey through many denominations and back to the Catholic church. I walked with the conservative mennonites for five years and I learned obedience and to love everyone, and to forgive. I'm back in the church now and I stick out like a sore thumb with my long skirts and covered head. I would love to join a group of sisters, but I'm divorced, have big debt and little pay, and I'm 50. Nobody wants me. But God is calling me! I feel it in every molecule of my body! I don't know what to do. For now, I have contacted the secular franciscans in the area. I don't think they do a whole lot. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you and God bless you!
Great video and well timed for I am discerning a vocation to priesthood. Unfortunately, I am too shy and not really a good speaker...and last year, my application to the seminary was rejected. Please pray for me, Fr. Casey.
I thought i felt gods presence a few nights ago after a dream, which wasn’t about god. But when you wake up in the middle of the night your brain is more confused and doesn’t operate as functionally, but I want another calling to really know that he’s there
Great video Brother! This one REALLY spoke to me Thank you for your direction in my life journey of faith I feel stronger more than ever in my conviction for a fulfilling life with my God! PAX VOBISCUM BROTHER C.
How do you expect Him to call ya? Through dreams? A voice? The more you know Him and that He died for You, the more you will "hear", feel, see from you heart. First you can know: faith in it s origin means belief which makes us follow. Now. A quite prayer, a gentle word or just to listen to yr neighbour/next. Feel, see what He is showing you. Go through the 10 commandments and the beatitutes. See how you want to be seen and be loved... and how fast you come to an end to love yr next. Learn the struggle between yr soul and the spirit, ... The little step of faith is the same: now today in faith, no matter if it leads to an order or not. As today it may be the last day, it is worth to have Him in your heart now. Our goal is not an order, it s heaven. 👍
I always feel I have to be a priest. I was raised Independent Baptist but even after I got saved and baptized I always felt called to become a catholic and I recently had my confirmation. But I feel called now to be a priest but I got to wait before I can try.
Idk why but I believe the LORD thy father is calling me out to join the Navy. I’m not exactly sure why but I believe he is. Right now I’m so close to joining. I just need a few college credits then I’m off
Hi Fr. Casey. Only this I have a chance to watch your videos and it was amazing and always feel great. Can you help me because I am really confuse rigth now, I want to be a nun but somehow I feel that I just wanted it because I want to escaped my current situation. And also I don't how ?
I would like to believe he has called me because when quarantine started I would always get on the game and cuss at people and make fun of others but during quarantine I have been getting closer to him and praising him and I turned form my wicked ways and turned to Christ time to time the devil would try to put things in my thoughts to stop me and would say I committed the unforgivable sin and just bring up my past and I was in fear and i didn’t know what to do I thought I really did commented it but I I search up what it really means and we’ll I found out and I started to continue my journey to find my calling. I just would like to know if you think what happened to me was a calling or not
I have lost so many people that I love in life everybody that I love their gone I lost my grandpa jack at a early age my dad's dad he was like my father my mom my dad they could give a damn about me I'm afraid to get close to people because I don't want to get hurt so I run.
I believe first He called me and I ignored. Now my daughter is so curious of faolth all of a sudden? She has always believed, but this is different. I think Jesus truly is calling her like He did me decades ago. I should of listened to Him. Now I have a grandchild that needs her mom will answer the calling. Jesus is the truth the way, and the life. I gotta have them in heaven or how could it be heaven?
God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called! Peace, Love and Joy to all :))
Peter Parker well said
Really nice quote

As a person who is gay, dealing with several illnesses with a couple of them causing chronic pain, and who left the Christian faith to identify as a Secular Humanist, this video touches me as someone in the midst of my pain feels a call to serving life and God.
Carlton Coleman That makes me very happy to hear. You may very well know this and don’t need me to remind you, but just in case, I want you to know that God doesn’t love you any less because you are gay. God loves all that God has created. Peace and good to you.
So glad you answered this post with your response. God bless!

I almost cried with this video. You rock.
Oh my god. For the very first time I really felt him through your word. There is something special in you. Thanks
Glory to God!
Im being called, but I feel unworthy. It is difficult to resist God's will everyday. But I pray for strength to follow Him and his will.
I am a graduating Chemistry student but I want to become a nun. May God guide me in choosing my path after graduation. 🙂

From India.

The holy sprit did the job .

"Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter:
whoever finds one has found a treasure.
Faithful friends are beyond price;
no amount can balance their worth.
Faithful friends are life-saving medicine;
and those who fear the Lord will find them" (Sirach 6:14-16)
I think you need to think with your heart instead of your head. Pray to God for guidance, for help. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the tools to understand. When God calls it "burns" your soul, it's a call you can't renounce, and that's what every nun I've talked to have told me. I hope you're very happy in your path.
Wow Casey! Because of your obedience to serve Christ and your inspiring and encouraging words and wisdom beyond your years, you are an encourager for all people, with faith and those without faith. Thank you for your caring, sharing and loving commitment 🙌
This was a divine message God asked you to tell everyone. May god’s will be done amen 🙏🏻
Very inspiring and well timed in my life. I am a recent widower and a Secular Franciscan, wanting to do more. Thank you for posting this.
Glad to hear it!
This is a great video thank you. I don’t know what I am supposed to do for the Lord but I do know I have to do something. Recently a Franciscan vicar arrived at my church and he is taking my worship to another level! I am hopeful things will become clearer🙏
YES! Yes to everything about this video!! Thank you so much!
Say yes to God now. What are you waiting for???
Thank You for this video Brother! Really wish I had seen it before than learn it the hard way! .. On my way to answering God's call now.. Here I am, Lord...
I’m a senior girl in high school discerning the religious life. Don’t really know where I’m supposed to go, what I’m supposed to do, and what path I’m supposed to take...but im trying my best to trust in God’s plan. It’s difficult but when I saw this video it helped me a bit. Thank you for this :)
Of all the decisions I ever made in my life, the one I regret most is my decision to serve God.
Lifted me up..am ready to keep on holding on to God
I hate brown but I would wear it to serve God. Thank you brother.
Try wearing white with a big red cross on your chest and serve God through the sick and the dying if you dont like wearing brown.
There's white and black colors. Ask the priest what other colors you can wear to serve God 😃
@@peterwong8186 there is also violet during lent for variety and I think I’ve seen my priest wear a red veil (?) too
Thank you Br. Casey. Please pray for me and God’s call on my life.
Fr. Casey,
Recently, I found myself watching your videos as a way of further reflecting my vocation to a religious life.
Please pray for me, I am confused of my situation. Im not quite sure that GOD is calling me or that Im just afraid of what the future holds.
Me too
Thank you, I needed this video.
Thank you for this message. I really, really needed to hear it.
And looking back now, whenever certain situations has brought me to a place i dont want to be or certain situations that i have no control: i looked up to Christ in Adoration chapel and there he was, waiting and i have my answers.
needed to hear this
Been dealing with crazy battles and now I realize maybe God is calling me and I’m just sitting here tearing up because it’s like wowww
Why are you suffering?
Do you guys have any updates on how your lives turned out?
(Romans 11)
Great Father Casey
You definitely are a worker of God I can feel your energy brother😊
Thank you brother I am now entering seminary next next year
Mico Loko can i join you.
I believe I have a calling from God so this video really spoke to me. Thank you.
Glad to hear it!
"and lazarus.. Lazarus was dead" Lmao
I mean... you can't beat that, can you?!
Georgian Memeing who is Lazarus?
Slender Sans a lizard
@@MOON-zo3ik That's very rude.
I do feel God calling me, but I'm not sure yet what he's calling me to.
cuinn837 just keep listening. God is like a GPS; he gives us turn-by-turn instructions. We most likely won’t see the final destination, the whole picture, until we die and we’re in heaven with God. Keep listening, and follow his instructions as best you can. And may God bless you! 💝
Thanks a lot for this vdo, thank u for putting more faith in us through this vdo.God bless you.🙏
Thanks Fr. Casey this video encourages me to be a priest even though I am not a good speaker
Praying that there more vocation. Praying to God that there are more young men to choose God and serve Him rather than this earthly life.
Published on my birthday!
Happy birthday !
Thanks!
🧡 God show me your will.
Rom 9:11 Yet before their children had been born or had done anything good or bad (so that God's plan of election might continue to operate
Rom 9:12 according to his calling and not by actions), Rebecca was told, "The older child will serve the younger one."
Rom 8:28 We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him.
Yes. I feel it.
I was brought here because God called me.
I love this. Jesus loves you. It seems hubris to profess our love for GOD, but accepting His love for us is quite interesting.
I hope people remember that GOD sacrificed Himself for us.
I was called this year. God called me home. I'm answering.
I wish about the last sentence. I've often thought of becoming a religious during my life, but I'd always get cold feet. I know how important and fulfilling it is, but I also get scared I'm not strong enough for the sacrifices you have to make.
I just got home from a search in. hoping that God will call my name again 😇
0:52 -0:58 True words father
Thank youuuuuuu 😢💔❤
great words
Thank you brother
I believe God may be calling me to preach at 14
go for it
When I was at high school I really wanted to become an Augustinian Friar.
The real problem is how to know is God calling someone to do anything for him .
Maybe I'll end up being like you too, in a vocation...hoping❤❤❤
That would be great!
Beautiful video, with the EXCEPTION OF COMMUNION IN HAND SHOWN AT 2:30.
Pablo Costa It is the preferred method in the United States and allowed by the General Instruction of the Roman Missal. Does this bother you?
Thank you for a wonderful video.
So inspiring
I believe God the almighty Father.
Hd made us too live on his planet.
The son of god became man ,so that we might become god . A mission to serve others . That is how to love god.
I luv ur videos their amazing very helpful
I would love to be like you Father one-day🥰🥰
Yes!
Why can’t god give a calling to everyone? I really want one, I want to be close to him and to fully believe
Thank You
you didn't even start to talk 5 words and I started to cry
Dakota Genus that’s because you heard the message from God. Keep listening for his “voice.”
Ye, he is. I love god, and he loves me. He wants me to do something.!?
Feels like it but I don't know what to do.
Great video and well timed for I am discerning a vocation to priesthood. Unfortunately, I am too shy and not really a good speaker...and last year, my application to the seminary was rejected. Please pray for me, Fr. Casey.
Praying
God will guide you
I thought i felt gods presence a few nights ago after a dream, which wasn’t about god. But when you wake up in the middle of the night your brain is more confused and doesn’t operate as functionally, but I want another calling to really know that he’s there
Great video Brother!
This one REALLY spoke to me
Thank you for your direction in my life journey of faith
I feel stronger more than ever in my conviction for a fulfilling life with my God!
PAX VOBISCUM BROTHER C.
God did blessed me so much even the time I was away from him. But... he hasn't called me... what if he won't?
Love it!!!
more videos please

Yes
