RESIN SAFETY
Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. What is in the glass jar that you are adding to the molds to make it shine like that? Looks like flakes that you are adding in, but not regular glitter. Looks amazing.

Hi i just started using resin on molds and sometimes i get the air bubble on the sides and i have been searching everywhere on how to fix them. Do you know how? I tried filling it with uv resin and the doing another top coat but you can still see where it was. Thanks :)
Ive found videos on hoe to prevent them which im still learning lol but nothing on how to fix them
Before it cures use a heat gun (ive also heard a hot hair dryer but i cant garentee that one cause ive never tried it) or tooth pick to pop the bubbles. You need to wait for them to come to the top of the mold. And also do a high pour to minimize the bubbles. you need to be patient and wait for them to come to the top of the mold. Sometimes if your doing a deep mold do multiple thin layers and wait for each one to cure and build it up slowly! For more tips i would recommend "shop time" and "nerde crafter"
Basically once its cured there is no going back. You need to get rid of the bubbles as you go and prevent them. If its just surface bubbles like on the back and face you can wet sand it and polish maybe? Fill in big holes with more resin. But thats about it. Resin isn't very forgiving so work smart and take your time maybe use a slow setting resin if more time is needed?
If your looking for crystal clear ones all i can say is a degassing chamber. Work with your medium and get use to it before expecting perfection. :)
You could try a Utility lighter (a lighter with a long rod)

You generally need molds for resin unless you want just a flat piece with no shape.
Hey! Its impossible to use resin without a mold. The only other thing you can do it pour it onto canvas. Id recommend looking on ali express for some cheap molds :)

You can always use bezels. If you have wire at home you can make a wire wrap bezel and use uv resin.

hi, love the channel. Quick questions did you leave your resin to sit for a while? looks more gloopy than when i do it. Asking because anytime i use glitter in resin it falls down to the face of the mould
Thank you! In this case i just poured it straight away, my resin isnt extremely runny. But if i want the glitter to sit in a certain level i usually wait an hour
Yes,if you leave resin to sit for a while,because it start to react,so it will looks more gloopy and it will not falls down,lol!And if you leave it for a while,it can reduce more bubbles!

Hey ! I actually still struggle with bubbles ... the resin i use is called craft smart and its pretty good. I mix quite slowly and then use a lighter over the top to get the extra but trust me i still get the dreaded bubbles lol
