Yes this is a very easy pattern but with very dramatic results. I prefer worsted weight so I would use thank and I can picture it with more vibrant colors or even the same color going from light to dark. So many lovely patterns...so little time!

My sister needs a baby blanket for a friend. She wants a star blanket but I love this blanket sooooo soooo much. It’s different than other ones I have found and how you teach us, well it makes it seem like it would be relaxing and enjoyable.
My hubby and I are trying to get pregnant with our third so perhaps I’ll make this one to keep myself positive ❤️I really do love it so much. I watched this video earlier this month and I had to make this. My cousin's son and his wife are having a baby boy in May and I finished this about a week ago. I am so pleased how it turned out. This is SUCH a sweet blanket! I am so excited to finish it!! I'm about ½ way done with my first skein of Lionbrand's Mandala. I chose the color "Acre Woods" and the stripe pattern has (so far) matched the blanket's pattern perfectly! It looks so adorably sweet!!
