Love your content around this phone. Took the plunge and had mine delivered on Saturday (Purple Global version). From someone who used a Fold 4 and 5, this phone feels so far ahead of them especially in terms of battery life and design. Outstanding phone.

Thanks for your comprehensive reviews on communication devices. Thanks to your insights, I developed a fondness for the Honor V2 phone and have decided to make it my own. I'm curious, do you anticipate Honor launching a global version of the Magic V2 Ultimate device?
I don't think so, however there is some speculation that the porsh v2 will launch globally. It's essentially the same phone as the v2 ultimate.

Good evening from Malta I have fold 2 Chinese version any idea update?
Is it easy to find cases for this phone? Screen protectors? A foldable without these 2 is too high of a risk.
Anybody has a workaround for the issue with the refresh rate of the v2? In dynamic mode youtube is 60hz and chrome is 60hz. Even when switching to "high" then youtube max is 90hz as well as chrome. Same for many other apps. Really annoying such a great hardware and display but stuck with 60hz and stuttery input lag

Loving your videos, just bought the V2 with the £500 discount, delivered yesterday & it's all set up having swapped from a S22 ultra.
I found the Honor launcher a little restrictive but Nova launcher has made it perfect for me now.

Hello there got mine in purple in France a few days ago (1099€ I couldn't resist), a few of my friends too, but they aren't so happy cause they think there is a feature missing towards Fold5...
=> To be able to get different contents on inside and outside screen (different icons/app/wallpaper).
For me it doesn't matter and it seems the Pixel and the OnePlus are exactly like the Magic V2
Do you have an opinion on this matter ?

What exact technology does the designated magic V2 pen use? So we could look for an alternative and ignore those cheap capacitive pens with huge rubber tips. The S-Pen if my fold3 doesn't work. The one of my remarkable 2 neither.
Great video, I have a question.... When you sign in with your Google account on the device do you also need to sign on with an Honor account similar to Samsung? Meaning always having two accounts logged in which is somewhat annoying owning a Samsung.
im using global v2 and dont have a honor account so i think the answer to your question is no its not required

I am here in Canada with an international magic V2. Disappointed that it doesn't support wireless android auto and also it doesn't support the use of the phone as a digital car key. I just got the phone yesterday so if anyone knows of a workaround to get these features working I would be greatdul. Thanks in advance.

Great info as always! I have the mix fold3 and just received the honor magic v2 global here in the US. If the mix fold was global, I would use it as daily, however since it is not the Magic V2 global is better the choice. It's better than the OnePlus open in my opinion and no point in mentioning that Korean brands foldable. 🤣 Keep up the great work and invaluable info you provide!
How is your v2 holding up?
Just got this purple marvel. The only issue is that the multi layout can't do horizontal like the fold. But this is minor to everything else. Just got it so still getting used to and exploring new features.

@@AverageDadOfficial oh interesting! Will find out how. As mentioned this is new to me so still figuring it out. I see some set layouts here. Mine is not the Chinese set but it is a country/region version so hopefully that is considered international. I am loving its specs and playing with it

I am still hesitating. Didn't decide to skip it but did not decide to buy it.. At 1099€ i know it's a real bargain but the fact that it can't replace my xiaomi 13 ultra for day to day photos and the stress-free IP68 certification has me hesitating to pull the trigger.... It would be a good phone but to be used Alternatively with my 13 ultra...
Just to share my story, I paid the deposit with Honor Dubai, at the launching I paid the balance, which is almost $1900 total price, there was 9 secret gifts, guess what? 2 out 9 was the shopping bag and the other one is empty box...😂😂😂😂 I found at the retailer better gifts in addition to the 9 of Honor I will get another 3, no privileges for the one who paid the advance payment with amy of those gifts or at least to get the device earlier, so I have cancelled the order and bought s24 Ultra, will 2ait for fold 6, I was really disappointed from Honor, the phone camera comparing to s23 ultra is rubbish, device is nice light and thin but what to do with the camera? What to do for the high price? This is my short story with Honor Magic V2

The stylus is such a gimmick. It doesn't support pressure tilt or anything and just works as a capacitive stylus that has been around since capacitive displays were a thing.
Shame they can't fit spen in too body even if the cost is thicker size, but spen in samsung is really usefull. I wish that xiaomi will release mix 4 with s pen working on both screens 😮💨🥳
?? you know samsung and oneplus don't fit the pen in their folds either and they are 3mm thicker!

Enjoying it so far but small little features missing wish I could pass on to the team to get implemented.
One issue I have is I can’t have the screens horizontal instead of vertically. I know it can be done as you have done it in your video.
Overall loving the phone it’s so thin! Just needs a bit more refinement.
Issues for me :
Can’t find a decent case. All cases that go on the front stop you from swiping from the sides.
Can’t find anyone who will insure this in the Uk.
Questions:
1) Does the Global V2 have a Google Pixel type Call Screening feature?
2) Also, does the Global V2 have a voice recorder app that can transcribe voice to text like the voice recorder app on Pixel phones do?
3) Does the Global V2 have an option to customize the battery charge animation?
