Now I have it working perfectly in wireless mode. :) Your video gave me the pointers I needed to 'make the magic happen.' Thanks. Now, I can travel without a laptop and still keep up with my writing work using Microsoft Office and a slim keyboard and mouse. By the way, thanks for your very informative videos on the V2. They gave me some tips and pointers about using the device from a user's perspective rather than just glossing over in a review.

In that way, the phone can be use very useful as an office tool like laptop/desktop to do some simple Excel, PowerPoint, Words, editing, etc. Or maybe perhaps connecting to a USB-C Hub which could connect to a wired mouse and a keyboard too. I wonder if that is possible, and as good as Samsung Dex.

That's exactly what my application scenario should be. One point more for the v2 and against the pixel fold. and the z fold 5 is now completely out of the running 😀
The only question I have is, how can we activate this system without projecting it on the screen? I mean, the screen of the device is already big enough when it is turned on. I want to put the device in Dekstop mode without any mirroring or connection. I hope there is a way to do that. Do you know anything about that?

Great question! Apologies for the oversight. Yes, Bluetooth devices can indeed be paired. I'm currently using my Magic V2 in Magic Desktop, with both keyboard and mouse connected via Bluetooth seamlessly.

Thank you very much for the feedback, I'm very pleased. What you describe is possible. You can connect the phone to the screen, start desktop mode, and if you swipe up on the Magic V2, the touchpad closes and you can use the phone normally while desktop mode continues to be displayed on the screen.

This looks like a decent start IF Honor continues to evolve it. I am using Dex and that works very well. Love to see the V2 get to that level.
Yes, I believe Dex is more advanced and capable. However, considering Honor's history of slow improvements, I'm not sure if this will actually happen.

Phone screen has to stay unlocked, but at lease the phone gets charged when connected to the screen via USB-C.
