The thing is Apple is realising everything is not easy and should be handed to her. You need to remember she is still 16 and was taught from a young age she needs to be on top when you look at that she has made some character development she does care for Raven but she is jealous and is mad that she is. She is scared to disappoint her mom and be forgotten and that added to being 16 she deserves a break
She’s also being manipulated by two extremely powerful adults. I can’t really blame her for what she did. Edit: I also want to point out the vast difference in emotional maturity between Apple and Raven. Raven is more responsible and put together than most adults I know, where Apple is still very reactive and hasn’t yet mastered thinking things through before she acts. She is working on it, though. She’s just got a lot of things working against her, including a mother who cares more about reputation than her own daughter.
@roamingjay7110 This is exactly why I don't understand people who hate Apple. Yes she can be a bit annoying and you can dislike her, but if you consider all the pressure put on her at such a young age, together with the trauma, and her fear towards the future her actions become much more reasonable.

Yeah, "Dragon Games" is the special where we get to see the real Apple... and how different she is from her mother. I mean... Apple is actually kind and selfless (just like the first Snow White), but she has to endure her mother's pressure to be perfect all while having to adapt to a new reality where she is no longer the most popular girl at school. That made her vulnerable and the perfect target for the Evil Queen, who preyed on her insecurities.

I mean, Apple is actually a very kind and selfless soul, but the pressure placed on her by her mother to live up to tradition is what drove Apple to act like that. Not to mention that Apple also looks up to her mother, despite knowing she puts too much pressure on her, because she believes that she is the image of perfection. That's why Snow White lying about the new stadium being Apple's idea made the latter realize that her mother is not what she appears be and how different they really are from one another.
On top of that, people had a _lot_ of doubt about her from the day she was born due to her blonde hair. Apparently people weren't sure how well she could uphold the Snow White tale since she didn't completely fit the classic black hair, red lips, snowy skin, ect. I really love how the books elaborated more on Apple's character and help you understand why she is the way that she is. When she was little, she fell down a well and was rescued a while later. That incident showed her that outside of her fairytale, everything else in her life was completely uncertain. She became so strict about following her destiny because she was scared, and if she played her part perfectly, then she would know everything that happened and could eliminate the fear of the unknown. The predictability of destiny helped her feel safe. Added to that was her being born an "imperfect" Snow White. Her hair was blonde instead of dark as ebony like in the fairy tale, and her subjects didn't like that for the first few years of her life until she proved herself to be kind and just and like her mother in every other way. She feels the need to prove that she can be a perfect Snow White despite how she was born. She also needs to wear glasses, but doesn't because it's just another reminder of her "imperfections." Add the pressure of her mother always reminding her to follow her destiny and be number 1, and the pressure of every other adult in her life reminding her that she's the future queen and needs to be as "perfect" as her mother, and it's easier to understand why she ended up the way that she did. And they're in high school ---she's 16 in the show. I know I definitely wouldn't have been able to handle that pressure at 16.

apple was taught all her life that her destiny is all she has, if she fails at getting it, she’ll be a disgrace to everyone. we see her questioning that mentality due to raven but ultimately thats not really an easy thing for her with the pressure coming from her mom. And considering shes only 16 i think you should give her a break lol
Also, when Raven split from the path, it must have felt like the floor was dropping out from under her. Her destiny, the thing she could always rely on, was jeopardized by Raven; it's not surprising Apple is still hanging on to some hurt feelings and doubts.
@@WisdomAndWar133 also how a lot of people initially doubted Apple when she was born blonde, she put her all into being perfect so she could prove people wrong but all that effort could've been for absolutely nothing
To explain the thing with Nevermore (Raven's dragon) getting smoller and bigger again, she has three forms, like the other dragons, then smoll one is her baby form, the mediun she uses more is like a teen version, and of course the big one is her adult form. As we see in the movie, we only got to see the other dragons baby form and then their adult form because of evil queen doing, but since every dragon has it own special hability, Nevermore ability is changing her size to younger versions of her
This was also explained in the book where each fairytale character was given a special animal to assist them with their destiny. Apple got a snow fox she named Gala, Daring got a peacock, Dexter got a jackalope, Cerise got a Dire Wolf, Cedar got a woodpecker and Raven got a green dragon that she named Nevermore who would sense her distress and come and comfort her. They basically got emotional support animals in the books.
Apple has been told since birth that she needs to uphold her family legacy. She really does want her story, but she’s been conditioned to think that she needs to be super extreme about it. Plus her mom is her only constant source of validation and her mom picks and chooses when she gets it. Apple is just pressured to never do anything wrong and not let anything come on the way of her destiny, which leads to her massively overcompensating. It’s understandable that she’s still be struggling with it even after she accepts raven doesn’t want to follow their destiny.
okay so Nevermore does get explained in the Shannon hale EAH books. the class goes on a trip early on in the school year(like before legacy day) to the enchanted forest and after popping a magic thing, they get a pet that suits them. apple got a fox, and raven got a giant dragon and that caused a panic, but nevermore can change size at will from like the size of a house to the size of a labrador. I wish they had included the pets more in the show, but a lot of the solid concepts in the books got scrapped for the show(esp when it comes to apple. book apple is way more understandable than show apple)
I love that Raven knew immediately why Apple was asking her about her mom. It shows that they have grown and become closer, close enough that they know each other pretty well 😂 Great detail they wrote in
I thought that when Apple said "why is life so unfairest after all?" she's beginning to deprogram herself from Snow White's propaganda of "yay destiny!" Apple is finally accepting that for her to fulfill her destiny and make Snow White proud, Raven would have to give up her choices and her happiness. For Raven to be happy, Apple may have to let go of her and her mom's goals. Apple has seen her friends have to make tough choices regarding their destinies but this is the first time Apple herself has had to face this. So I'm cutting her some slack.
Apple was able to get into the room holding the Evil Queen's mirror because of the Evil Queen's magic. She was powerful enough to make all of the entrances open and guide Apple to her. As for your comment about a guard @13:51, there is usually a guard. But for plot convenience, Raven decided to take Nevermore out of the tower because reasons so the plot could allow Apple to walk into the now dragon-guardless tower that contained the mirror.
I'm an Apple White stan, but I can't blame Mathew for being annoyed with her- especially without the context of the books. Always enjoy your videos Mathew!!!!!!
The minute I logged into RUclips i saw this and RAN like the fucking WIND to click on it. Mathew and Ever After High is some of my top quality comedy right here.
This special is actually what made me fall in love w Apple It's clear that her Mother doesn't truly care for her but rather her image - Apple clinges onto her mother for validation as a result. Feeling loved by all; except for the one person she looks up to Which is how The Evil Queen breaks free - poking at where it hurts the most for her; the ache that she'll never being good enough to her mother also in the books she had a huge insecurity w her blonde hair, as it wasn't like her mothers or other Snow whites that came before Ofc she was conditioned into believing a lot of ignorant stuff (which is not a surprise w how her mother is ) - but a lot of her actions also deals w her fear of not being perfect enough (and unpredictability from trauma she faced in the books)
Apple and Raven might have bad relationships with their mother but sooo many kids have such bad endings for example Ginger ends up baked. Briar has to sleep for 100 years and lose EVERYONE. Ashlyn has to die at a preety young age because technically she will become the mother of her daughter (the next Cinderella). Cerise has to kill her own sister. Like they've got no right to complain!
Honestly after watching Dragon games everything about Apple makes sense and is actually sad. Like from a child she was raised only knowing that she has to be the best at everything, the smartest and most popular in the school etc and that she has to follow her destiny no matter what. I mean her own mother named her Apple the literal thing that poisons each generation of Whites. Edit: I'd love for Matthew to learn about the fan theory that the Apple is actually the Evil queens daughter and she swapped Apple and Raven at birth so her daughter would become queen
Favorite lines in the whole video 4:57 " it will be like shopping, only world domination " 5:11 " and practice some deep breathing raven 6:55 " comfortably ever after, those are some standards, there's happily ever after, its nice it'll be comfortable " 13:30 " she maybe evil but she's a bad b*tch " 15:18 " there's all this poetry and then there's " make me a high school student " And more great lines in the video, but over all great video 😃😌👌
I mean Raven is very patient and the way she handles Apple right after their conversations with their moms does speak to a deeper friendship thats developed between specials and even off screen. The kind of bond where maybe Apple confided in Raven the pressure her mother puts her under and how so much of her life is planned out that if she had to think about what she wants that isnt in the plan she wouldnt be able to envision it. Granted it would be nice to *see* a moment like this between them but. Oh well.
this is the only time mathew can hate on Apple aall he wants and no one could actually blame him all things considered but don't forget everyone , the actual person we should hate on is snow white
Totally agree. What Apple did, even if it was accident, was wrong on the grounds that she kept it a secret and played along with the Evil Queen in the fake belief that she would help her get her happily ever after. However, Apple would never do something like that if it wasn't for her mother's ridiculously high standards for her. So, if we are to blame someone, then that one is Snow White herself.
I love your everafter reactions, because I love Apple. Mostly because I absolutely adore messy characters, especially ones that either were really good, we’re supposed to be really good, or thought themselves to be really good. Because the fall from that is always *delicious.* I just love it when a character has complicated and messy morals, and an even more complicated and messy road of character progression. It’s incredibly satisfying. *Especially* if it was a character with a very flat world view that goes and develops that into something more complex and nuanced. It’s my favourite kind of slow burn, for SURE
I wonder if anyone realizes that apple only agreed to destroy the storybook of legends when she realized someone could take her story from her. Every decision she makes before and after are in service to that destiny and only now realizing the consequences because she can’t just fall back on destiny anymore
To be fair, it's supposedly easier to recognize evil by passing evil lessons. And Raven is still technically a villain's daughter. The school is for both heroes and villains so...
matthew constantly taking shots at apple has me crying/laughing. i know he’s 100% correct, but you don’t understand i can fix her matthew i swear she can be a good person😭💀
I love the world of Ever After High. Because they are so removed from the original story (seemly generations on generations) that they are thinking about optics and tradition and less on the actual morals.
Apple is really misunderstood. In this it is extremely clear how she acts a certain way due to the manipulation of her mother. Raven understood immediately that Apple must’ve talked with her mom because she knows Snow White and how she acts. Let’s not forget that Apple is a sixteen years old being manipulated by two adults on opposites sides: her mother and Raven’s mom. Also, in the books it’s made clear that Apple wants Raven to follow her destiny due to trauma from when she was young and almost died plus in the books everyone always remarks how she is basically not good enough to be SnowWhite because she is blonde. Raven and Apple are two sides of the same coin
Wekp, today i learned that Snow White has the same voice actor as Maddeline hatter, never realized it before. Also noticed that Maddeline wasn't in this season speaking wise. Huh.
bold of u to assume the other characters would know about the evil queen’s ability to use multiple mirrors and that the evil queen wouldn’t keep an advantage like that super secret 🤔
If it helps the thing about the Evil Queen’s prison is that all the mirrors are like one way windows and her magic can leave but she can’t through said mirrors the only on she can communicate and be set free with is the one that’s locked away…so when Apple followed the glowing apple it was the Evil Queen’s magic teleporting her into the room and it’s likely the Evil Queen is left mostly unguarded because of her manipulation skills
You can kinda tell by this point that the company doesn't know what to do with the characters and how to advance the story in a way that makes sense. This special is still really good (it's the winter special after this that sucks the most) but with Disney's knock off version taking most of the sales, and therefore money, away from EAH the creators didn't know how to keep the show afloat so they rushed alot of the storyline and character development so that it was considered "Finished". I wish they didn't tho I would've loved seeing the relationship between raven and her mother fleshed out more and have more screen time with some other characters like Darling and the Repunzel sisters.😔
there's a theory.. that raven is actually snow whites daughter and apple is the evil queens (why does this theory make sense you ask?) well because ravens mum in the comics and books has blonde hair and in apples bio "she's the first snow white with blonde hair". jhonestly if this theory was true it would make sense why apple is kind of an ass sometimes
@@-i_own_you_- i don’t remember what the theory exactly said but there is an explanation to that in the theory too. Haven’t thought about it in a long time
in my opinion the theory isn't good, not because it doesn't bring good evidence, its just that it directly opposes the point of EAH, which is you can choose your own destiny, and dont be like your parent.
Well Apple's father is likely from one of the Charming families. We know that Darling and Daring are blonde - so it is likely a trait from her father one of her male ancestors.
My theory (no idea if this is true or not) is that you can communicate through any mirror, but it’s just easier to do it through the main mirror like a WiFi router

Took me a while to realize why Maddie and Raven are best friends, but then it hit me: “Why is a Raven like a writing desk”? The riddle uttered by the Mad Hater in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
I'm kinda surprised Snow knew that was the Evil Queen. The Evil Queen looked extremely different when she was a teenager, but ig when she rode Nevermore, she knew only she knew how to ride a dragon, let alone Nevermore
One fan theory is that apple is actually the evil queens daughter and raven is snow White's but they were switched at birth by either the evil Queen or the headmaster which is why apple is so easily controlled by the evil queen and raven doesn't want to be evil. Their appearance also supports this since anow white has balck hair like raven and the evil queen in younger pictures of her had white or blonde hair like apples which would make this all the more hypocritical for all sides

Dragon games is amazing! pls can you do another video reacting to the lightning thief musical songs and Epic the musical? I don’t know if people have made animatics for the new circe saga yet though but the songs are incredible
please continue it gets better and more interesting and fun with each episode! I know apple can be frustrating but there is a part of me that sympathizes with her. She has been told her entire life she has to act a certain way, and aspire to follow her mother, by the pressure from her mother. It is clear she wasn't allowed to think about what she wanted. Her mother puts so much pressure on her, it's similar to someone who struggles with perfectionism because their parents don't accept failure. Snow White raised Apple in a similar way and anytime Apple tries to move Past that she either has her mother's words in her head or her mother straight out saying to her face you are not allowed to fail, Apple isn't allowed to think for herself or make up her own mind and when she tries some aspect of her mother stops her. I'm not saying I like Apple or hate her but these episodes that included her nom allowed me to view Apple differently- more complex then the previous episodes showed so far.
Ngl I kinda hate how ppl hate on Apple White and act like she’s not a victim of emotional abuse and insanely high standards. I’ve always resonated with her as someone who was pressured by abusive parents to not only be great but be perfect to a point where I didn’t know who I was. Apple canonically is extremely insecure abt her weight, her appearance and her glasses in the books because her mother has drilled it into her head that she has to be perfect. Ik people who only watch the show may not know that but I still want to put it out there that she’s an incredibly 3 dimensional character.
@@moafaux hot take but I prefer her over Raven. I just don’t really like Raven just because her only personality trait is always being in a crisis. I do get it to an extent but it’s so annoying hot every time they subtract her issue with being a “villain” who doesn’t want to be one her personality just isn’t there. She’s just good. What does she want? To not be evil. She’s probably the least interesting and three dimensional character in the show.
Watching Mathew roast Apple is so pleasing, because honestly? Me too. Every scene with Apple, makes me angry. Very, very angry. I'll like her better as a full blown villain because her hypocrisy is infuriating to watch.
I know this has been awhile but that guard was Nevermore, as shown in the very beginning of the episode. Raven taking her to get cleaned and polished after her blowout means that that was the one night Boss Queen could get out. This was a clever way to introduce Nevermore and probably explains why she wasn't mentioned in the series before this time ☺
Is it just me or do I remember this episode being longer?? Lol. Its been forever since I watched this show. I could have sworn this episode had the dappling kiss...??
It's honestly a little hard watching Matthew hate so much on Apple, like even before she'd even done anything wrong he already had a long rant about how awful of a person she is just because of one sentence where she says that Raven is popular from using her powers for good and it's terrible. She's a _teenager_ and we just saw how completely awful her mom is and how she expects perfection from Apple! Matt didn't even _consider_ the fact that Apple might just be telling her mother what she wants to hear? He just went in so determined to hate Apple as a character that he skipped over the fact that we now actually get to see _why_ she is that way. At least it's safe here in the comments with everyone else stepping up to defend Apple :)
I think the mirror that aren’t the fancy big one are like the windows and then the fancy big one is like the door. So Evil Queen can look through the windows but she can only go through the door
Apple does get a bit better near the end of dragon games so that will b entertaing 2 see Mathew's reaction😂 and its kind of nice when u realize that the evil queen actually cares abt her daughter
Wait! The evil queen is snow white's stepmother. She was married to Snow's dad which would suggest that Apple's grandfather is Raven's dad. Making Apple, Raven's niece.😮

To explain the thing with Nevermore (Raven's dragon) getting smoller and bigger again, she has three forms, like the other dragons, then smoll one is her baby form, the mediun she uses more is like a teen version, and of course the big one is her adult form. As we see in the movie, we only got to see the other dragons baby form and then their adult form because of evil queen doing, but since every dragon has it own special hability, Nevermore ability is changing her size to younger versions of her
So, Nezuko, but worse?
This was also explained in the book where each fairytale character was given a special animal to assist them with their destiny. Apple got a snow fox she named Gala, Daring got a peacock, Dexter got a jackalope, Cerise got a Dire Wolf, Cedar got a woodpecker and Raven got a green dragon that she named Nevermore who would sense her distress and come and comfort her. They basically got emotional support animals in the books.
@@GrumpyCatSupremacy well.. both have powers related with fire and can change age, but Nevermore can get killed so I guess in a certain way yes?
Apple has been told since birth that she needs to uphold her family legacy. She really does want her story, but she’s been conditioned to think that she needs to be super extreme about it. Plus her mom is her only constant source of validation and her mom picks and chooses when she gets it. Apple is just pressured to never do anything wrong and not let anything come on the way of her destiny, which leads to her massively overcompensating. It’s understandable that she’s still be struggling with it even after she accepts raven doesn’t want to follow their destiny.
I think Matthew should get a dart board with Apple's face on it after this😂
he doesn't already have one?
hes so real for that tho
okay so Nevermore does get explained in the Shannon hale EAH books. the class goes on a trip early on in the school year(like before legacy day) to the enchanted forest and after popping a magic thing, they get a pet that suits them. apple got a fox, and raven got a giant dragon and that caused a panic, but nevermore can change size at will from like the size of a house to the size of a labrador.
Thank GOD this is literally my favorite series of plot points of ever after high and I’ve been dying to see you react to it
Apple was able to get into the room holding the Evil Queen's mirror because of the Evil Queen's magic.
It feels like Apple is being pressured by her mother, and Raven is being dragged into it. I feel bad for both of them 😭
About the mirror thing, i personally think that it’s one way. Like nobody can see her but she can see them
This was proven in the wonderland special
Oh I was OBSESSED with Dragon Games, I also played the game but I'm pretty sure you had to pay to do like. Anything
I'm an Apple White stan, but I can't blame Mathew for being annoyed with her- especially without the context of the books. Always enjoy your videos Mathew!!!!!!
she's worse in the books tho
@Lovesickrae In something ways. In other ways, she's better in the show.
The minute I logged into RUclips i saw this and RAN like the fucking WIND to click on it. Mathew and Ever After High is some of my top quality comedy right here.
I saw right before first period and was immedietly so sad that I had to wait nine hours to watch it 🥲
Oh gosh. For me this was right after school. I hope you had a good day at school it’s rough
This special is actually what made me fall in love w Apple
It's clear that her Mother doesn't truly care for her but rather her image - Apple clinges onto her mother for validation as a result. Feeling loved by all; except for the one person she looks up to
Which is how The Evil Queen breaks free - poking at where it hurts the most for her; the ache that she'll never being good enough to her mother
also in the books she had a huge insecurity w her blonde hair, as it wasn't like her mothers or other Snow whites that came before
Ofc she was conditioned into believing a lot of ignorant stuff (which is not a surprise w how her mother is ) - but a lot of her actions also deals w her fear of not being perfect enough (and unpredictability from trauma she faced in the books)
THE WAY YOU CONNECTED THE DOTS NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES INTO THE VIDEO GODDAMN
Apple and Raven might have bad relationships with their mother but sooo many kids have such bad endings for example Ginger ends up baked. Briar has to sleep for 100 years and lose EVERYONE. Ashlyn has to die at a preety young age because technically she will become the mother of her daughter (the next Cinderella). Cerise has to kill her own sister. Like they've got no right to complain!
Raven would end up harming her friends, cursing wonderland, and end up in chains for the rest of her life… Only Apple has no right to complain
@@mintee264 okay agree with that but seriously apple has no right to complain yes she has pressure but at least she doesn't DIE!
@@despinamitsinga2435 so basically if someone has it worse than you then you can't feel anger towards your situation?
Honestly after watching Dragon games everything about Apple makes sense and is actually sad. Like from a child she was raised only knowing that she has to be the best at everything, the smartest and most popular in the school etc and that she has to follow her destiny no matter what. I mean her own mother named her Apple the literal thing that poisons each generation of Whites.
Edit: I'd love for Matthew to learn about the fan theory that the Apple is actually the Evil queens daughter and she swapped Apple and Raven at birth so her daughter would become queen
I love Matthews videos on EAH , it honestly brings back memories of how I reacted to it when i was 11😂
Welcome aboard Darling and Apple shippers, it is time for us to be happy 🍎
I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT ABOUT THE DARLING CHARMING TWIST OH MY GOD LESBIANS FOR THE WIN
LETS GO LESBIANS‼️‼️‼️
SAPPHICS FOR THE WIN 😆
Favorite lines in the whole video
4:57 " it will be like shopping, only world domination "
5:11 " and practice some deep breathing raven
6:55 " comfortably ever after, those are some standards, there's happily ever after, its nice it'll be comfortable "
13:30 " she maybe evil but she's a bad b*tch "
15:18 " there's all this poetry and then there's " make me a high school student " And more great lines in the video, but over all great video 😃😌👌
Oh well.
I really like how ravens dragon could change size as a kid i thought it was so cool
this is the only time mathew can hate on Apple aall he wants and no one could actually blame him all things considered
but don't forget everyone , the actual person we should hate on is snow white
Totally agree. What Apple did, even if it was accident, was wrong on the grounds that she kept it a secret and played along with the Evil Queen in the fake belief that she would help her get her happily ever after. However, Apple would never do something like that if it wasn't for her mother's ridiculously high standards for her. So, if we are to blame someone, then that one is Snow White herself.
@@rafaelmatos5851 Well Snow White wanted this to happen. She's really evil.
Apple really brings a whole new meaning to ‘White Privilege’
matthew constantly taking shots at apple has me crying/laughing. i know he’s 100% correct, but you don’t understand i can fix her matthew i swear she can be a good person😭💀
forreal like trust me🙏🏽lmaoo
I love the world of Ever After High. Because they are so removed from the original story (seemly generations on generations) that they are thinking about optics and tradition and less on the actual morals.
YAY MATHEW POSTED!
YAY
I feel so bad that the “evil” dragons are trapped in a little stall 😭
I somehow completely forgot that Snow White was gonna be in Dragon Games - can't wait to see how you react to her
Apple is really misunderstood.
Huh.
She spoke, she said "Yay the evil queen is here! Said no one ever..."
@@ToffGirlShit oh yeah. arguably one of her best lines lol. does she ever speak after that though? i kinda forget
@@Plexxis_SugarPom That I do not remember unfortunately 😂
@@Plexxis_SugarPom Update: Yes she does!
bold of u to assume the other characters would know about the evil queen’s ability to use multiple mirrors and that the evil queen wouldn’t keep an advantage like that super secret 🤔
We need a compilation of every time Mathew has ranted about Apple
Ok so extra info: in the books all the students have pets and Nevermore is Ravens dragon
Now that Raven unlocked her full power from the storybook of legends they love her 😂
there's a theory.. that raven is actually snow whites daughter and apple is the evil queens (why does this theory make sense you ask?) well because ravens mum in the comics and books has blonde hair and in apples bio "she's the first snow white with blonde hair". jhonestly if this theory was true it would make sense why apple is kind of an ass sometimes
If apple was EQ's daughter she would have had powers
@@-i_own_you_- i don’t remember what the theory exactly said but there is an explanation to that in the theory too.
Haven’t thought about it in a long time
in my opinion the theory isn't good, not because it doesn't bring good evidence, its just that it directly opposes the point of EAH, which is you can choose your own destiny, and dont be like your parent.
That’s a terrible theory and it literally contradicts the message of the show 💀💀
Well Apple's father is likely from one of the Charming families. We know that Darling and Daring are blonde - so it is likely a trait from her father one of her male ancestors.
As someone who absolutely DESPISES Apple White,I LOVE when you tear into her lol.
this season was so freaking bonkers I remember obsessing over it so much when preteen me first saw it, nobody who knew me could catch a break
My theory (no idea if this is true or not) is that you can communicate through any mirror, but it’s just easier to do it through the main mirror like a WiFi router
Im exited to see matthew's reaction on Dappling kiss😭
Dragon Games aka the best EAH episodes for me.
PLEASE REACT TO "SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON"! It's a story about a strong, beautiful horse with a spirit that can never be broken. I cry every time I watch it! It's a INCREDIBLE film, and the songs are so cool! But it's not a musical and the animals can't talk. 😭💔🔥
The Evil Queen has bad bih energy because she doesn't pretend to be any better than she is, like Apple and Snow do lol
I was really ready for “if I had rolled my eyes any harder I’d be blind forever after”
This season is really what made Apple my favourite character hehehe
Took me a while to realize why Maddie and Raven are best friends, but then it hit me: “Why is a Raven like a writing desk”? The riddle uttered by the Mad Hater in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
This video should be called “Mathew rants about how awful Apple White is for 30 minutes”
I'm kinda surprised Snow knew that was the Evil Queen. The Evil Queen looked extremely different when she was a teenager, but ig when she rode Nevermore, she knew only she knew how to ride a dragon, let alone Nevermore
Before the show got canceled the idea was that apple and raven were gonna be revealed to be switched at birth :)
Went to see if anyone still makes ever after high content, love this lol
I love this episode it's so exciting and as someone who loves the villains in shows just because there interesting or down right funny theses episodes are so fun I can't wait to see the next part of this!
We’re getting closer to the end 😢. This is where I kinda started to fall off. I still watched the new stuff, but I didn’t look forward to it like I used to. And there were a couple choices that I didn’t vibe with
LONG LIVE EVER AFTER HIGH!!!!! Epic Winter is Next!!!!!
Your Apple White roasts ... I live for that🤣🤣
The fact that they canceled Ever After High after this is insane. 😢
It was after the winter one
Literally when the show was at its peak 😢
Matthew is about to cry from all of these dad jokes, he's had enough 😂
YOU POINTING OUT NEVERMORES NAME BEING A PLAY ON RAVENS NAME I NEVER GOT THAT AND IVE BEEN WATCHING EVER AFTER HIGH FOR YEARSSS
Babe wake up, Mathew posted a new ever after high reaction!!!!!!
Dragon games is amazing! pls can you do another video reacting to the lightning thief musical songs and Epic the musical? I don’t know if people have made animatics for the new circe saga yet though but the songs are incredible
Mathew’s hate for Apple is never not entertaining 😂😂 (also very relatable lol)
please continue it gets better and more interesting and fun with each episode!
I'm at work and almost screamed when I saw this upload :)
I have been waiting for this for ever after!!! Thank youuuu
Love how Mathew gets angry on Apple everytime
Same man, same❤
Ngl I kinda hate how ppl hate on Apple White and act like she’s not a victim of emotional abuse and insanely high standards.
Same! I’ve loved Apple ever since i first watched it but i could never find anyone who liked her aswell 😞
6:47 and you thought you hated apple nah
Her mom is way worse 😂
Yeah
Watching Mathew roast Apple is so pleasing, because honestly? Me too. Every scene with Apple, makes me angry. Very, very angry. I'll like her better as a full blown villain because her hypocrisy is infuriating to watch.
LOVE your commentary Matt!! I remember EAH like it was yesterday 😂
OMG MATHEW AND EVER AFTER HIGH??? THIS IS A GREAT DAY!!!
I know this has been awhile but that guard was Nevermore, as shown in the very beginning of the episode. Raven taking her to get cleaned and polished after her blowout means that that was the one night Boss Queen could get out.
This was a clever way to introduce Nevermore and probably explains why she wasn't mentioned in the series before this time ☺
I love how salty he gets when apple is on the sceen
I love you for not rushing it. Thank you
Couldn’t wait for this one too come out was waiting for this reaction 😂😂
I think the mirror that aren’t the fancy big one are like the windows and then the fancy big one is like the door. So Evil Queen can look through the windows but she can only go through the door
Apple does get a bit better near the end of dragon games so that will b entertaing 2 see Mathew's reaction😂 and its kind of nice when u realize that the evil queen actually cares abt her daughter
Please make an ever after high playlist on your channel
When he said edgar allan poe i instantly thought of the character from bsd then realized he was talking abt the author when he talked abt the poem
we need Mathew to review an episode of winx club, maybe one from season 3 as that is a fan favourite season
Wait! The evil queen is snow white's stepmother. She was married to Snow's dad which would suggest that Apple's grandfather is Raven's dad. Making Apple, Raven's niece.😮
