We have a star vision and we have place a lovely piece of wood on the top of our cutlery draw and it makes it an extra bench top. The draw still closes with the wood on top and is easy to slide when you want to get to the cutlery.
Big enough for a child’s bed we think. Although, if your small child follows Luca’s progression, they will soon find their way onto the main bed and snuggled up between mum and dad 😂😂😂 1500 x 800 mm is the size of the (now vacant) Luca bed 😂
@@whatupg1 Cheers Max 🍻 still love the van design, in fact, we have moved to WA and are living in the van while we build a house. Starvision is not real good with after sales service and customer support, many customers in the owners groups on Facebook complaining about poor customer service which is a bit disappointing. But if you’re happy to DIY as we are, then it doesn’t really affect you. I do feel sorry for the people who are unable to DIY and are getting messed around with poor support and service.
Hi great video, just a question with both 10-litre unleaded and diesel jerry cans in the box do you get a build-up of fumes any problems with putting them there ?
Hi David, the join falls somewhere between hip and shoulder. Not actually a join, more like a hinge as the top of the mattress is still one piece. To be honest, we have never felt the join when laying or sleeping on the bed 👍
@@AusCamping Thanks, good to hear. I've placed a deposit pending finance on a new CX3 pro so I've watched your posted videos with interest. I notice your posts are mostly based on upgrades and enhancements rather than problem solving. Can one assume there have been no major failures with regards your CX3 ? I directed your post re mains water pressure to QLD Managing Director, Mike who assures me he has addressed the issue with current and future CX3 & PX3 vans. I'm encouraged that StarVision management seem to be listening to customer feedback. Happy camping David
Hi David, no major problems, toilet overflush was probably a slip up in manufacturing but when I spoke to Thetford, they did inform me that it is not unusual for the restrictor to get lost or thrown away, so I thought I’d just cover the fix myself and do a video at the same time. I’ve had a few rivets come loose on the stone protector covers but the local dealer is taking care of those under warranty so we have had a pretty good experience. 👍
Criag, where did you get your cutlery draw bamboo expander organsier thing please do you have a link to where i can get it? i need one for mine, I have also replaced the rails from a 450 rail to a 800 rail so you all the room as i think my PX2 pro pull out table is longer that your CX3 one.
Hi Nicholas, we got our cutlery tray from Aldi so you can keep an eye on the next kitchen special or check out Bunnings or IKEA once you have your drawer dimensions 👍 Good idea swapping to longer runners, I’ll have to do some measurements and see what’s possible on the CX3 😎
I have not seen these fusion lock holders but seems like a briliant idea. Thanks for sharing Your ideas with the rest of Us. Very helpfull Chris.
No problem, you’ll find the fusion lock range at Bunnings. Not cheap but very good and they don’t fall off like other suction fittings.
Thanks again. Chris@@AusCamping

Sounds like a great Idea Deb. There’s no such thing as too much bench space 🥰
Loving your videos, were looking at buying the same hybrid so finding them very helpful
Thanks Geoff, if we are helping people then we are achieving our goals 👍
Another awesome video Craig and Anett. Could you please give the dimensions of the couch part inside(Luca's bed) could a small child use as a bed?

No, we haven’t had any problems with fumes, a small vent I no try he bottom (like the gas side) would be enough if you were concerned
@@AusCamping Thank you
