I am ALWAYS so excited to see dandelions in the Spring. This is gonna be an awesome recipe for me and I can hardly wait to try it. Thanks for posting, @From Scratch Homestead!
Thank you, I am going to try this once the dandelions show up! Our yard sticks out like a sore thumb since we do not spray our lawn. The other day I watched a flock of birds eat from our lawn and the neighbors lawn had not one bird. Nature knows best!
You are so lucky to be warm and nice enough to HAVE dandelions up and growing. I am not that warm in Havre MT yet. Slow spring for me. Love your videos, kids, dog, lots of help.
Good morning- We have lots of 💛 dandelions in our 40 acres of fields. I may gather and freeze some this spring. I had emergency gall bladder surgery last October and now on a restricted diet that includes bitters, hence dandelion. My Grandmother Hazel always made a spring tonic from them. I can't have ice cream, but I can eat the greens and enjoy tea. So encouraged to see your family unit living off the land. What a gift to your children! Good job! We are all in our 70s here. The three of us run the farm with occasional help during haying. Its all good! ~ Diane
Hi there! Thanks for sharing how you use them - I like the idea of gathering and freezing. I hadn't thought of preserving them. The leaves and roots are really where it's at with dandelions nutritionally but harvesting the flowers is fun too! :)
Very interesting video, thank you. We have no shortage of dandelions around here, our kids will be very excited to make this. Thank you for the tip on separating the petals from the greens right away before they close up - things get busy around here so there is a very real possibility that could have happened to us 😊 Also, I am intrigued by your granola recipe with egg whites, we will have to check that out! Thanks again.
THIS video caught my eye since I'd never heard of this before lol. I HAVE heard of (and tasted) dandelion honey though, omg that is good. Have you had [primarily] dandelion honey?
guys always hold baby neck, the neck part is fragile for crucially 5 to 6 months. See how the neck is hanging without support. The baby head has to start to stand stiff without any rubbery moment that's when you hold like. Just precaution before sometime happens
