Right? I always say Christmas were more fun when my kids were this age even up to 7-8 yr old. They still believed in Santa Clause and I had so much fun the whole month of December with the excitement of Christmas and Elf from the Shelf 🤣🤣🤣.

As a toddler teacher, I absolutely cherish the sweet moments with my kiddos forever. Don't forget about the biting and hitting phases though!

@John Adamsct Actually, yes it does. You should teach your kids patience at a early age if you want them to be successful in life, especially if they come from a low income family so they learn the importance of long term pleasure rather than mostly thinking about instant gratification.

Patience indeed can be taught. You must have patience in order to be kind and to share love. Without patience, most tend to lose their temper, and on occasion call people names (which isn’t loving at all) for no good reason other than having a difference of an ignorant opinion. Without patience you can’t learn...gain nothing.
I'm not even a kids person but you just can't deny that she is absolutely precious.

When I was that age I wouldn't have dared to eat any for fear of a beating. That's how I learned self-control. It's a hell of a way and I strongly suspect this cutie was not trained that way. No one should be raised that way! I'm so glad to see the culture change during my 71 years. We know so much more now and we do parenting so very differently now. Thank goodness! If this video is the result, we're doing something right for a change.

It was all I knew then I ended up being a mother to a man that did the same thing. Thankfully I learned NOT to do that to my children, so that ancestral damage has been broken but I am still fearful of violence. Bullies create bullies unfortunately.

Teaching a young child self control and delayed gratification is one of the best ways to help them successfully navigate life. Being completely adorable and charming won't hurt either.
When mine were little they were very much like her. At their great aunt's there were candy dishes full bn in every room at a family gathering. Their cousins were all helping themselves. I didn't even notice that my kids were just looking at wanting, but not touching. Until they asked their great uncle first. He raved about my kids every time he saw us after that. He just couldn't believe that they didn't just do what the other kids did. Me either, lol! I guess I had gotten something right as a parent! Haha!
