Love all of the painted lams! Red, black and in-between! They’re just adorable. I’ve raised orphaned goat kids and calves on bottles, and once that connection is made-it’s all over. They get to stay!! Blessings to all!!

I found your videos during a difficult pregnancy, that became even more difficult after my husband had a heart attack when I was 32 weeks along. Your positive outlook and strength, as well as your beautiful sheep have given me joy every day. Especially on the hard days when recovery was tough for us. Little Red is a doll, what a pretty color, can't wait till she grows up and we can see yarn from her! All the lambs are so cute; hoping the little one in NICU improves but wondering if maybe it had a touch of Cache Valley and has something going on internally, I hope not. There were so many moments in this video that just made me laugh out loud; the lambs on top of their moms, the ewe stretched out with her head by the waterbowl looking almost dead, the little lamb trying to climb on you while you helped the mom deliver her sibling, the black faced ewe at the end of the barn that you weren't sure if she was lambing or not..... "I'm walking away..." What a great way to spend my bit of time between off farm job and afternoon chores while eating my lunch.

Seeing this side of agriculture is wonderful! I am doing a PhD in agriculture and environmental science, and I focus on soil fertility and plant production systems. I used to know very little about the animal aspects of agriculture, and I love learning from you. I have been following you for almost two years, and I can safely say that I have seen so many aspects of agriculture that I have never seen before. It has been a true learning journey, and I look forward to each of your videos. Thanks for all the lessons, teach! Additionally, I have been vegetarian/pescetarian for 15+ years, for various reasons, and seeing how loved and well taken care of your animals are is amazing. I used to feel weird about animal production in agriculture, which is hard when doing agriculture research. I may never eat meat again (I just got used to not doing it) but you have changed my opinion on animal husbandry quite a bit. I hope that any farmer aspires to provide for their animals in the way that you do! P.s. tell Mark that he is not alone in his love for soil tiling and drainage - it is magnificent and interesting! If you guys ever need a soil carbon girl, let me know :)
First off I have been watching all you vlogs for the last 3 years. It makes my day so much better when I watch your vlogs. I love all the stuff you and your family do. Even my 9 year old daughter loves watching your vlogs. Next I would like you to know that you do a amazing job with all that you do and your family is so amazing to help you. I have been watching daily to help my depression. I stay so depressed but when I watch your vlogs it makes me smile and sometime laugh and sometimes cry. I don't like to see the sad stuff but it helps me know that I am not alone. You were just speaking about an 18 year old girl and I’m a 71 year old girl who loves the work and compassion you show to your animals every day. Theirs a lot of people who suffer from anxiety and depression who need to know that they are not alone. Reading the comments sent to you helps us all not feel alone in our world. Mental health was always a dirty word in my younger years but today thank goodness people are embracing their problems and by sharing your wonderful hard work they can see that even with their problems they are capable of living a successful life. I was watching with my 3 year old son and he said “look at that baby it’s orange.” I said” it just came out of its momma.” He said “out of her butt!? There’s poop on it!?” Not knowing how to respond to that I said “well not exactly… well… yes, yes that’s poop.” I love your videos and my whole family has started asking me questions about what goes on in them. I spent every other summer at my grandparents farm in Ohio when I was growing up. They had sheep, but i never paid any attention to them. I regret that now. I love watching you & your sheep. Especially now with all the little babies. We all get vicarious warmth watching them jump & play with each other. A little lamb sneaks a drink from a ewe that isn't their mother. Bleating & bawling fill the air, like Christmas cheer.
LIfe can be extremely difficult sometimes, especially when it throws curveballs at us. Just know that you are loved and respected far and wide, as well as right at home. Your fans and family greatly appreciate how you lift the spirits of everyone around you, and do your best to be a positive influence in the world. Sandi, it has to be an amazing thing to feel the love that spreads through your channel. As many others have I'm sure, I first came here to "See what it was all about". Watched a few videos and was hooked. I went backwards to start at the beginning. Lets just say, I got dinner started late a few time 😉 One of the things I love about "Sandi's place" is how everyone shares. Regardless of the nature, good or bad, it has the feeling of "safe". There isn't any arguing, nastiness, politics etc.(that I've seen) we are ALL living in a whole new world atmosphere and THIS is like a breath of fresh air. Seeing this side of agriculture is wonderful! I am doing a PhD in agriculture and environmental science, and I focus on soil fertility and plant production systems. I used to know very little about the animal aspects of agriculture, and I love learning from you. I have been following you for almost two years, and I can safely say that I have seen so many aspects of agriculture that I have never seen before. It has been a true learning journey, and I look forward to each of your videos. Thanks for all the lessons, teach!
Additionally, I have been vegetarian/pescetarian for 15+ years, for various reasons, and seeing how loved and well taken care of your animals are is amazing. I used to feel weird about animal production in agriculture, which is hard when doing agriculture research. I may never eat meat again (I just got used to not doing it) but you have changed my opinion on animal husbandry quite a bit. I hope that any farmer aspires to provide for their animals in the way that you do!
P.s. tell Mark that he is not alone in his love for soil tiling and drainage - it is magnificent and interesting! If you guys ever need a soil carbon girl, let me know :)

First off I have been watching all you vlogs for the last 3 years. It makes my day so much better when I watch your vlogs. I love all the stuff you and your family do. Even my 9 year old daughter loves watching your vlogs. Next I would like you to know that you do a amazing job with all that you do and your family is so amazing to help you. I have been watching daily to help my depression. I stay so depressed but when I watch your vlogs it makes me smile and sometime laugh and sometimes cry. I don't like to see the sad stuff but it helps me know that I am not alone. Often depression makes people feel alone but we all need to have something that helps with it and for me you help so much that I even sometimes go back and look at your old vlogs and seeing everything you do and talk about really help me. Unknown details, we just know that she was in the hospital and had to undergo surgery.
She is home with her family again and looks like she is recovering slowly but surely.

Hello. I’m 69 years old and have finally retired. Your family and sheep life has been so fulfilling. You make it so real and the love you have and show toward each and every lamb is so very heartwarming. You open the doors of your home, barn, and even the farm equipment doors and let us ride with you. We watch the lambs grow and then “help” you take them to market. Thank you so much for each day. You were just speaking about an 18 year old girl and I’m a 71 year old girl who loves the work and compassion you show to your animals every day.
Theirs a lot of people who suffer from anxiety and depression who need to know that they are not alone. Reading the comments sent to you helps us all not feel alone in our world. Mental health was always a dirty word in my younger years but today thank goodness people are embracing their problems and by sharing your wonderful hard work they can see that even with their problems they are capable of living a successful life.

I was watching with my 3 year old son and he said “look at that baby it’s orange.” I said” it just came out of its momma.” He said “out of her butt!? There’s poop on it!?” Not knowing how to respond to that I said “well not exactly… well… yes, yes that’s poop.” I love your videos and my whole family has started asking me questions about what goes on in them. You bring joy to my day every time you post a video. Your smile and voice and the way you talk to your animals is so heart warming and soothing.

I spent every other summer at my grandparents farm in Ohio when I was growing up. They had sheep, but i never paid any attention to them. I regret that now. I love watching you & your sheep. Especially now with all the little babies. We all get vicarious warmth watching them jump & play with each other. A little lamb sneaks a drink from a ewe that isn't their mother. Bleating & bawling fill the air, like Christmas cheer.
LIfe can be extremely difficult sometimes, especially when it throws curveballs at us. Just know that you are loved and respected far and wide, as well as right at home. Your fans and family greatly appreciate how you lift the spirits of everyone around you, and do your best to be a positive influence in the world. Remember to take time for yourself too, and to never feel guilty for making sure you too are happy, healthy, and safe.

Sandi, it has to be an amazing thing to feel the love that spreads through your channel. As many others have I'm sure, I first came here to "See what it was all about". Watched a few videos and was hooked. I went backwards to start at the beginning. Lets just say, I got dinner started late a few time 😉 One of the things I love about "Sandi's place" is how everyone shares. Regardless of the nature, good or bad, it has the feeling of "safe". There isn't any arguing, nastiness, politics etc.(that I've seen) we are ALL living in a whole new world atmosphere and THIS is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for sharing your REAL life with all of us!! Be it good or bad and sometimes the very real and hard sadness of it, you share it.
