yeah maybe!! im not totally sure yet, but business school is definitely something im considering. a lot of econ nu grads go into consulting or IB. there are some that go to kellogg and get their mba, but majority of people start working.
@@rremii Thank you for replying so quickly! I recently was admitted to NU for Econ at Weinberg too, and I'm pretty sure I'll be committing (yay)! While I'm excited about life at NU from all the vlogs I've watched (including yours!) I'm also a little bit worried about prospects after. I know I want to do a Master's first and not immediately start working, but I've not yet seen/come across many NU Econ grads who have gone on to do Masters (like you said, majority start working in MBB/IB). Are you also double/triple majoring/minoring/taking any certificates? If yes, what are they and how has it been for you?
@@aizam yay congrats! I am officially cognitive science and music cognition (Weinberg/Bienen just bc it aligns more with my interests) lol but im doing the business minor. Tbh I think coming to NU knowing you have an interest in like business (for example) is more than enough. There are a lot of clubs you can join and upperclassmen that you can reach out to in order to help you really figure out what you want to do. And you can always feel free to reach out to me as well haha. Idk a lot of people interested in getting their masters, but I’m sure you could def reach out to professors and talk to them when you get here!
