It's nice finding a RUclipsr who covers motorcycles, then going back through the older material and be entertained for days! Seriously though, your review on the road king convinced me to make that my first bike purchase! Thanks blockhead!
Appreciate the kind words and support Justin! That's awesome to hear that the Road King review helped you out, always glad to hear that, and congrats!
I just got this for my 23 FXLRS and it’s a MONSTER ..Bassani Gang! 🤘🏽
I fitted V&H short shots, mid controls and a clip on screen. What a difference. No more wind on body. 2020 mod and already done 23 000 ks . What n bike👌👌
Bassani has the best mix of sound on their pipes
I have Road Rage on my Sport Glide. The sound is awesome. I especially like the lower RPM rumble.
Mr. BLOCK PLEASE TAKE IT TO THE PARKING GARAGE. I LOVE THE VIDEO YOUMADE THERE WITH THE LOWRIDER S THE SOUND QUALITY WAS EPIC!! CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW EXHAUST BRO
Its pretty much tradition at this point lol
Yessssss!
Incoming in the 'Exhaust Demo' vid 😁
That looks 1000 times better than that stock exhaust!
When I saw the thumbnail was my first thought.
Omg Soooo much better! What were they thinking at HD?
@@elithegreat6463 the contrast is what makes it horrible
@Mister Grey - Bikes have to meet EPA regulation from the factory, otherwise they can't sell them. They have to meet a certain decibel level, hence large OEM mufflers, and certain exhaust output, hence catalytic converters.
HD-FXDR/R9T Racer HD & BMW You're free to do with yours what you wish as well and not care what anyone else thinks about it but you, since it's your bike 😉
The beast is awaken! The bike looks and sounds great, real beast, love it.
A trick when tightening any threaded nuts/bolts/screw , got this from my father, he was a mechanic engineer, hold the nut against the bolt, press it gently with your fingers and turn it gently counter clockwise, like you’re “untightening” it, once you hear/feel a click that’s when the threads have locked correctly to each other, now start tightening it and you won’t ruin the threads. It’s a tested and proven method. Try it on on a bolt just to get the feel of it.
That Bassani sticker will look good on the gas cap too.
Ride safe man, keep the rubber side down. Cheers!
I've done this many times, great method! Dunno why I didn't on that one bolt on the front flange, was such a tight squeeze for the socket, just overlooked it. Whoops, haha
Glad it was just the nut, can't wait to hear the exhaust on low rpm idle. Great vids man, you're a real inspiration. Cheers!!
ive had to deal with a broken exhaust stud before. its not fun at all. glad you were able to get it all fixed. looks and sounds great.
Just got a road rage on my dyna fat Bob. Absolutely love the sound and the look
Grats!
You can never have too many bikes in the garage! Dope video can wait for the next one!
Just too little garage in the bikes, haha
That looks awesome!!
Just got a similar style ,cobra el diablo, to pop on my fxbb street bob.
I added the Road rage to my 2018 Fatboy and it sounds terrific. Going to take it from 114 to 128 this winter.
Using Fuel Moto big bore kit.
Is it an exhaust you could deal with on long rides? I plan to get the new fat boy and want good sounding exhaust but not something that make me deaf after decent ride.
128 holy hell, beast mode!
Matt B - Yeah since the exhaust comes out further behind you, it doesn't 'drone' at all. You actually only really hear it when you get on it, which is kind of nice
@@BlockheadMoto nice
BLOCKHEAD Yes check out fuelmoto the kit is 1699 The builder is adding a 64 mm throttle body plus we are adding a different cam than the one that comes with the kit. We figure it will be 150 + torque. Not sure what we will get in HP.
I have not had any problem with heat.
the new pipes make that bike look so much better. Sounds awesome!
Looks way better than stock! Well done Blockhead!!
🤘
Damn dude that looks SO much better than the stock pipes.
Been subscribed since August 2017!! Thanks for all your help and “how to” content. Congrats on how much the channel has grown 🙌🙌🙌
Good ole Bassani ! Just down the street from me. They used to have races in their shop back in the day when we were all free , and before they invented lawyers :
I know you traded this bike but the video saved me a lot of time. Thanks.
I have the Road Rage B4 on my FLHT and love it. The pipes sound even better with cams and a big bore kit.
Love it! I've been going back and forth between bassani and d&d exhaust.
Looks so much better with that exhaust and the high flow intake. I actually want one now that i have seen it with those parts.
That's the perfect exhaust for that bike looks bad ass
Loved this video. Man, your bike is looking beautiful. I'm starting to get FXDR envy. Might be time to start making the moves for mods on my sportster. As always, love your videos, love the bikes, my best wishes to you and the Ms. Ride safe, looking forward to the next one!
Thank you! Best wishes to you and yours as well!
Damn it looks awesome!! Big fan of two to one exhausts! As always great video Block!!
Thank you!
That looks soooooo much better!
Holy shit dude, last time I watched ur channel u didn't even have 30k subs. Oath congrats man!
Thank you!
Great content Blockhead. Why do people hit the dislike button? if you don't like don't watch it.
Thank you! And honestly, I have no idea, just miserable people out there I suppose, haha. But the likes and support greatly outweigh it, so no need to even think about em 👍
@@BlockheadMoto They're just morons.
Well done block...thats a dope set of pipes. Sound is killer. Have fun.
Looks like it should be the factory pipe. Looks perfect.
FP3 next?
Next vid: FP3!
Look forward to it bro
smooth looking and feeling.
That looks fantastic. Good step by step. Obviously sounds good.
Looks way better, although not sure if I like the sound so far, im sure it is a lot better in person though.
With Bassani Exhaust and Vance & Hines FP3 installed on your Milwaukee 8 Harley, will Harley Davidson void the Warranty?
Definitely still not loud enough though. Time to take that baffle out! :D
It’s like Harley stock exhaust is meant to be replaced. Good god this looks soo much better
Hey blockhead you should get a head camera so u could use your both to do stuff.
That exhaust would look sick on Ms Block bike as well...
I like the Thanos snap that organized the parts! 😂 that is a great looking and sounding exhaust! Glad bassani is on the blockhead crew! Getting the radials for my sporty soon 😎
She sounds good. And she looks great.
i wish you never got rid of this such a dope bike
Aw MAN ! That looks soOOO much better ! I enjoyed the tutorial ….THX
That exhaust is nasty. Love it block
The black exhaust is a beauty. Yep.
Can you share your mirror setup...PLEASE!
Pipe looks awesome!
Blockhead, The Bassani Road Rage exhaust looks so much nicer and it sounds so much better.
Thanks for the video, you made my mind up. Ordering one next friday!!!
Also, WHAT PEGS ARE THOSE!? love em'
thanks
So many Patreon giveaways!! Hope you guys have checked with the IRS. This is a form of lottery. You may be subject to lottery taxes. I do not think the IRS has caught on to the RUclips stuff but talk to your CPA. The IRS loves to sneak up on you a few years from now for the audit. Love yourvideos.
Sounds tuff 👌
Damn it sounds night and day better!!! I cant wait to put a new exhaust on my 18' fat bob😫😫😍😍
She is looking great!!
Nice clean look on the Bassini Road Rage exhaust system.
How I'm supposed to win the bike if I'm in France ? I also wanted to know if you were going to change the licence plate ? ,thank you your videos are awesome keep on going
Looks good. Looks similar to the exhaust I want from a different company.
I see the rear fender/ cover is missing. When's the video for that coming out? Love all the mods so far!
wow bro !!! love the new exhaust pipe!!! makes it extremely difference of the styling of the Harley!! just needs a back end tidy! and I was looking at it and thinking I like that now WTF bro lol
How did you tighten the front bolt on the front flange I can’t get a good angle to tighten , what tools did you use?
2 years later I’m still tryna figure that out
What tool you use to loosen it?
I like the all black pipe look.
Good stuff brother! 2-1 is definitely the way to go with m8s! Looks nice!!!!
So, so, so much better!
I hope you go for a ride to Mexico with this 😂
¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!
Just waiting for tax return time to get my radial sweepers on the 48, those pipes look mean on the fxdr!
Love the Sweepers!
So you did buy one I just finished watching your review on this bike
How do you like the bike after a year
That sounds sweet. I want those mirrors for my FXDR where can I get them?
Good thorough video as usual. Already sounds quieter than the sweepers. Are you going to keep or remove the baffle?
It's much quieter than the sweepers, but the exhaust comes out much further behind and directed back vs the sweepers which are down and right. Will be doing a 'removed baffle' video
Great looking exhaust better than Harley in looks, nice video!
Thank you!
I wonder if there are any actual comfortable seats for this bike model.
MUCH better! Great choice.
Dude how did u remove the nut on the flange closest to the radiator without removing the radiator? There is like no room at all to get anything in there
Pro tip: buy a couple extra exhaust gaskets (because they're *cheap*) in case you bugger one up on the install.
Saves you a trip back to the parts counter in the middle of working.
True speak!
Blockhead, great video. That was cool you shared the cross thread too. Happens to all of us.
I noticed you have a forward air cleaner on your fxdr when previously you put a Roland sands black ops on it. What made you change?
How did you get that second O2 sensor off ? The one that plugs into the wiring harness at the bottom of the bike.
Would the oem heat shields fot in place of the black ones to sort of keep oem colors
Mine is leaking out of the muffler joint and that clamp is as tight as I can get it any ideas?
Does the tuner void you warranty on the bike? I heard it does just wanted clarification. Thanks!
Weight saved you should feel it! Plus the inherent performance gains at the higher rpm's
Looks and sounds good,nice
Definitely a different exhaust note on the Milwaukee Eights compared to twin cams .
More valves = more airflow in and out= different sound.
@@vector6977 agreed.
Love the look. So much better.
Bassani sticker looks dope there on cam.
Turned out GREAT man!!
When you purchased the bike top speed was 160 mph has it been locked out at 120 mph because of fuel pack? Any fixes?
Is there a video where you streamed line the back of the bike. I love the bike. But I dislike how the break light and blinkers look. I want to stream line it.
Not going to tell us how you got the pesky front nut behind the radiator ¿
If you already have a tune with aftermarket exhaust . Do you have to tune it again if you change the exhaust to another brand such as Vance and Hines ? Someone please answer me lol
Block “Finally got a proper exhaust” Head
Pretty sure you can find some 'message' in every video to do this with 😂
BLOCKHEAD its all love sir. You are important to me.
Even though I can't get a bike 'til college, I'm seriously wondering whether I should go for the Iron 1200 or the classic Iron 883. I'm leaning towards the 883 as a more "beginner-friendly" bike since the engine size isn't as big as the 1200, but I'm worried that I'll lose interest in it within a year or two. With the Iron 1200, I like the new mini apes Harley Davidson put on it (probably going to swap it for a chiseled handlebar, however), and the small fairing (def. gonna go for bigger one though too lol), but what if the engine size is a little too much for a new rider? I've sat on both the Irons but I don't know what to do - I love them both!! I want to go with a club style because I think they look sweeeet (haha :P)
Looks and sounds great!
Beautiful.
So much better! I miss the potato potato sound though!
I do miss the sound of the Low Rider S! Was a great one for sure.
Where did you get the krator extension kit for your mirrors
Like i was told by some millwrights i have worked with over the years. Cross thread is better then no thread.
Really looks great, tidied up the bike really nice. Sounds nice and ‘deep throaty’ too.
#Pro-tip: When threading anything, always start the item being screwed in reverse until you feel a tiny click. That indicates the threads are now aligned and ready for tightening..
w1rth it really isn’t all that hard to tell
@@whiskeywisco apparently it can be. Block cross threaded the nut. So stop being a toxic douche and provide helpful info instead of being mister perfect internetman.
Cross threading is just free lock tight 😂 just kidding looks awesome 😎
Sounds good, looks Bada$$. Would lick to hear it without the baffles! Ride Safe Brother.
Non baffle video incoming!
I want that swing arm for my sportster. Is that possible?
looking good.
@BLOCKHEAD Dude I have this bike! This is awesome. Can you do a STREET SLAMMER Bar next? Just so I can see how its down? Cause I have all the parts just need a tutorial.
What part of FL you at bro?
How did you flip the mirrors on your FXDR 114
