I know a lot of Black folks who knew him through Hidden Color alone are gonna be heartbroken watching this. The irony is this type of stuff is the reason why Hidden Colors was created in the first place.
"Huh? How is this possible?"
His audience that listen to him were listening to this type of stuff and reading his books. On his podcast, macklessonsradio, he would talk about relationship stuff and infuse a little racial topics into certain shows. He would give quick history lessons from time to time, people did the research and found out this was true what he was saying. One day on his Ustream channel and also on his podcast he mentioned creating a black history documentary that was NEVER mentioned in school. This is how Hidden Colors was born.
How do I know? I'm giving you my experience. I read his books, listened to his podcast, watched his Ustream, and backed all of the Hidden Colors documentaries. I still listen to his content to this day.
He's an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are problem-solvers. When there's a need, they tend to that need. He said he wrote the relationship books because there was a need for some REAL advice on dating and relationships. The same thing with the Hidden Colors and 1804 projects. Hate him or love him but the stuff he puts out is legit and no fuckery involved. The books work and the stuff in Hidden Colors are facts.
Once you understand that he's an entrepreneur and not a "Black leader" you won't feel let down when you see stuff like this.
