I have two kids and a lot of responsibility and I’m working my ass off and trying to make everyone happy and buy a house just scares the bejesus out of me at the same time. Of course we’re fighting over the percentage he owes (we’ve been divorced five years, but he never paid any maintenance on the house we are selling and that was required. Nobody ever showed her love as a child. She was rejected by my sister bc of her rotten father. She didn’t deserve that, and how she was treated as a child is a big part of why she is the way she is today . To a man who says he grew up in an emotionally abusive household, you’d think he’d understand, and care about her survival and well being. Nobody else does except for me. So no, that percentage is not fair. It’s yet another betrayal to me, and it breaks my heart. 😢
I don’t feel the percentage division is fair. Just because they have a larger brood of family shouldn’t count. In 2011 when I was in favor with my mother’s husband, I was in the will for 50%, while my only sister was in it for 50%, and it was written that she would share her inheritance with her 2 children. My family didn’t punish me for not having Children by taking from me to pay for another’s kids. I wanted to have a child with my husband. But, he wasn’t interested. So now, I’m paying for others that aren’t even his kids? That’s fair? Really? I feel disgusted. Will he ever treat me right, and stop putting others before me? We were married for 20 years, and also lived together for 3 years, while the other woman he’s giving to was with him for 8 years, and may have been married for 6 of those years. So, you do try the math. Is it fair? Another betrayal.
