  • Arkto Campers G12 Overland Trailer has updated their electrical system! We're proud to now include, as standard, the Redarc Redvision system. Inclusive of the Rogue distribution module, Manager30 battery manager, and the Redvision display.
The Arkto Campers G12 comes with an Anderson plug /cable at the tongue of the trailer to allow for DC-DC charging while driving, of up to 30-amps! Additionally, an SAE port on the drivers side is wired up to the MPPT solar charge controller, for unregulated solar power use of up to 600-watts.
Our customers can upgrade their trailers with the following electrical system options:
    - 200w, 400w, or 600w rooftop solar arrays
    - 100w or 200w portable solar panels
    - Up to 800AH of Lithium batteries
    - Redarc's BCDC boosting charger
    - 2000w inverter
Plenty of options to truly go off-grid!

Great video Aaron, appreciate your taking the time to detail the electrical system. Very robust and looks like the G12 is made to boondock!

The REDARC system must be very new. We got our Arkto in February which still has the BMPro system. I'm curious if there was any particular reason for the change? We LOVE our camper by the way!

Yep, very new. We did the first trailers in March, right after yours. Redarc is a much larger company, with better support, and continuing improvements to their hardware. Just something we wanted to align with as we grew as a company.

Are there any US distributors? Looks solid. What's the operational temperature range?

Hey Steve. Thanks for the comment. We primarily sell direct to customers across North America. Operational temp range of the Redarc system? For charging: -25c to +60c. Depends on which batteries are in the system.

7:30 That is not correct if you are only running the manager 30.

Yep. We realized that. Max 30 amp of charging. So, we offer a separate Victron MPPT controller for those that would like to do the DCDC/Roof solar combo.

      @@arktocampers Could also add a Redarc DCDC1240/50

@@KB-jy5hr Indeed. We were, but the Victron provided a more economical price point for the customer, and it's more compact to fit in our small space. And of course, the Victron is no slouch. Pros and cons.
