FIRST LOOK AT OPPENHEIMER'S MUSIC - Opening Look Trailer Music Cover - Oppenheimer OST #oppenheimer - Видеоклипы
I don’t think people fully understand how difficult it must have been for Ludwig to essentially BE the Hans Zimmer of Christopher Nolan movies while retaining his own unique style AND while keeping that unique style on par with the style of Zimmer..
Nolan movies have always been associated to masterpieces of film scoring, so the pressure must clearly be there haha, same for when he did Tenet. (although to be honest I don't think Ludwig/Nolan had any intentions of "sounding like Zimmer")
Tbh part of the music comes from Nolan , also Ludwig is so great composer in Tenet he was amazing. I'm sure his performance in this movie will be so good.
I don’t think Hans could have done a better job on tenet than Ludwig. Tenet album is on par with interstellar for me
Zimmer is the one who recommended Ludwig to Nolan for TENET (since Zimmer was already tied to Dune at the time and couldn’t do TENET).
Zimmer saw what Ludwig was capable of and what an incredible artist he is, and he knew he would be perfect for Nolan and TENET. Zimmer and Nolan picked Ludwig for Ludwig, not because Ludwig sounded like Zimmer.
Therefore, Ludwig didn’t need to try to be like Zimmer, he was eyed for his individual style and was already at the top of his field for composers.
And given the fantastic soundtrack Ludwig composed for TENET, which is genuinely one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, it shows just how incredible he is.
Can’t wait to see what he does for Oppenheimer!
Agreed
Hour and a half of this music is going to be out of this world. So hauntingly beautiful...
Really excited to hear it in theaters!
3 hours
@@julijangrajfoner1730 3 hours is the movie runtime, however 1hr 30min is how long the OST is
@@PrabhablyAGoodRUclipsrHalf the movie is silent?
@@hassassinator8858 well, yeah... you can't have background music running in every single scene. Many dialogue scenes don't have background music, there are parts where sound effects are the focus so background music is not needed there also
I'm calling this movie a potential masterpiece of the year. Ludwig Göransson can fill the shoes of Hans Zimmer. Great edit as always! Gotta drag myself to my local IMAX theatre.
It's shaping up to be a banger for sure!
Watched 2 times already, imax and standard, gotta watch third time in imax again, this surpass any nolan movies
@@dollayx8Even with heavy dialogue I just can’t stop thinking about this movie. It’s just masterfully crafted. However I think viewers need to really pay attention to the dialogue because despite it being a 3 hour movie every dialogue scene happens pretty fast
I think Oscar should deserves this movie
@@omairkhan_92agreed
The tension of the music building up in the trailers is really like the ticking of a bomb. It's magnificent in some way but threatening and cruel in reality.
Really well put, the soundtrack is shaping up to be truly special!
2:56 at this moment it gave chills
Ludwig Göransson was introduced to many of us through the Mando theme - this guys is amazing
Black Panther?
@@brunocorbella7389
I wasn’t aware he did black panther. I love that score, especially the music when Killmonger arrives in the throne room.
Thanks for pointing that out
I already knew him back when he worked with childish gambino on a lot of his songs
@@cptgrimm You're welcome. He also scored the first Venom that same year. That one was also great imo.
I’m going to be brutally honest here, after watching he film, listening to the soundtrack endlessly for days.
This version of what we now know to call ‘can you hear the music’ is absolutely incredible. I’d go as far to say that you can hear the rawness in this track better than in the actual score.
Still coming here to witness this, says something man. Bravo.
I also keep coming back to the track in the "Oppenheimer - Official Trailer" as one of my favourite variations on his Oppenheimer theme where it flips between major / minor like Schrodingers Cat. Does anyone know what it was called or where it can be found?
No actually…i wish a track like this was in the official score - almost like a ‘Meeting Kitty’ meets ‘Can You Gear the Music?’
Yes! I like this one better
@@AngusTatchellthat was actually a custom track made by a trailer music company called “Cavalry Music”. A yt channel called ThatDudeRightThere extracted the music quite nicely if you’re still searching for it.
When the music shifts to the major scale at 3:04 and the tempo begins to move faster, the instrumentation getting louder and moving quicker - major goosebumps…as the music makes us feel that something momentous is happening, something incredibly important and monumental. Ludwig’s music is breathtaking and transcendent. It will definitely be part of the narrative in Oppenheimer.
That major twist was so simple yet incredibly effective!
Mathematics, music is close related to mathematics if you want to create this feeling.
Sounds like the chain reaction to me.
I hope he will keep going more after this ost
We finally got to hear a little of Ludwig Göransson's score in the "Opening Look" teaser trailer!! Already gave me chills, I had to cover it! Who's seeing Day 1 in IMAX ?
I rlly wanna see this in IMAX but I wanna feel it in Dolby cinema
I'd go for both!
@@JeremyBraunsMusic I’m seeing in 1570
Meeeeee
Day 1 70mm. Day 5 IMAX w/ Laser
I watched the opening look 3 times now. First time because of my anticipation of the film. The other two because I liked this powerful and yet nostalgic, melancholic piece of music. Thank you for making this!
The music absolutely lifted the picture it's insane!
It really illustrates the immense power and the regret and tragedy that befell Oppenheimer. The OST already received praise from critics - looking forward to it's release
I’ve listened to it about 8 times so far
This movie and score will be HUGE!!! Nolan films is unmatched
I can only agree!
@@JeremyBraunsMusic great work by the way! Very close to the original
Thank you!
Ludwig has stepped into John Williams' shoes as John gets ready to move on
Oh my, that last minute gave me chills.
Honestly, well done with this one. Can almost feel it.
That’s exactly what I feel yesterday when I saw the movie in theater. Chills several times including this one
This score literally consumes me. It’s like compelled me to feel the thoughts sir Nolan wanted to convey,
What a beautiful piece! Well done Jeremy! I like how Ludwig used the ticking clock like Hans used in Interstellar and Dunkirk. Also sounds a bit melancholic and epic like Inception's "Time" and Tenet's soundtrack in a few moments with the piano. Then he's got his own synthy flair which is really cool
Thank you! Totally agree, it fits really well to what we know of the movie so far. I usually really love Ludwig's scores because of that ability to blend sounds you'd never expect together
Oh I love the melancholic sound in Nolan's movies ❤ in Inception there is so much of it, that I listen to regularly.
It's been 3 days since I watched the movie..but the scenes and background score of the movie just can't escape my mind ❤😢
This masterpiece will forever be remembered as the score for one of the great movies of our generation.
I genuinely can't wait, ever since I discovered Ludwig Göransson throught Tenet and found out he was doing the score for this movie I've been excited.
As others have pointed out its genuinely amazing how he is filling in Hans Zimmer's shoes for Christopher Nolan's movies while having his own awesome style!
mate the movie is amazing youll be blown away
bro like just close your eyes and listen to this itll take you to another world
EDIT : It's OUT NOW! ruclips.net/video/cXtTBQW0lwg/видео.html&ab_channel=JeremyBraunsMusic
I'm thinking of doing a "1h Study Music" in the style of Oppenheimer, is that something you'd watch/listen to ?
Hell yeah buddy
Yes sir please 🙏
yes please!
That would be great. Maybe a trimmed 1 hr version without the blaring parts?
I was thinking mainly ambient music inspired by the quiet parts of the score, suitable for study/reading
The greatest dramatisation of hitting the snooze button
I'll never cease to be amazed how a well-crafted score is another character in the film. The rhythmic tick-like percussion increases in tempo as the music conveys hope, solidarity, confidence, intelligence, determination, expectation yet...apprehension. Then the key change and apprehension mixes with sorrow and fear if not horror.
This has been on repeat all day
CONGRATSS ON THE OSCARRRRRRR LUDWIG!!
Ludwig is getting the recognition he deserves. From delivering us some beautiful pieces like black panther, black panther 2, Mandalorian, Creed, Venom; here he is. He has a unique style which is motivating, yet melancholic. Such beautiful diversity is something which cannot go unnoticed for long. Hail Ludwig Göransson, I was always your fan. Good to see people getting the depth of your art.
I’ve watched this movie 3 days ago and still I have a feeling inside me after this incredible movie. Nolan made a big job with his team
Just saw this an hour ago. Very masterfully done. It didn't feel like 3 hours to me. Even though I had an above average knowledge on the subject.
The feeling of hopeful, challenges, uncertainty, dangerous & timeless.. all in one single soundtrack.
This music gives me shivers 🤯😄
The synth build up near the end 🔥
the clock sound never gets old in Nolan's movies
Mind blowing composition. Goosebumps
When Oppenheimer built the bomb, he gave our species an expiration date, and he knew it.
I don’t listen to English Hollywood music at all. Hard core Bollywood fan. But this one. Thank you Sir. I can listen to it continuously for a month. Can be a year as well. ❤
"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds" This soundtracks captures all Oppenheimer's thoughts & emotions.
Great work he has clearly matched and leveled up to Hans Zimmer for this iconic project ....goosebumps BGM
You are very talented at music. I hope one day I'll get to your level. I try to recreate background scores to get better at composing - this is inspiring!
You will for sure, and beyond! What I find to be the most important is transcribing/recreating the music you love, and being patient with it. It takes time but it truly helps :)
What a beautiful piece
Thank you for this beautiful post
Ooffff can't wait for this experience in the theatre
Really great cover! I love this soundtrack
Thank you! Can't wait to hear the whole thing!
The full soundtrack released! COVER IT!
this is so beautiful, so epic.... flawless skills :)
The music at the end of the movie is just chill, powerful and sad. I was the only one sitting and listening to the very end. 3 hours wasn't that long when the movie was very good. I still wonder though who would make the better cast between Murphy and Cumberbatch. The science seems to be in Benedict's comfort zone.
Thats an interesting thought.
Cumberbatch would have been a great choice as well
Thank you for uploading this.
Only dream I ever have... is it the surface of the sun? Everytime I shut my eyes... it's always the same.
This is a phenomenal cover. Sounds great
Thanks!
Braveheart, Meet Joe Black, Gladiator, etc.. oh the power of a classical film score. There is something epic behind a scene when a composer nails the moment in symphonic harmony.
Ludwig Göransson making Oppenheimer's soundtrack is like Oppenheimer making the atomic bomb
Amazing work my G
Amazing Recreation !
This is SO GOOD, holy moly
What an musical masterpiece! What is there more to say?! 🤯🤯🤯
Amazing job Jeremy. This is amazing
Thank you!
Thanks for this ❤
I can't wait for the soundtrack to drop
What a brilliant masterpiece have just seen out
You nailed it ! ✨
Thank you!
What a beautiful recreation man...Great job!!!
Thanks!
@@JeremyBraunsMusic Hye i was wondering! How did you edit the overlay photo over your Cubase edit page? Did you just put it over the video and reduce the transparency? but it looks so clean!
In Cubase I go to Preferences, Color Theme, then turn the bottom 3 colors to black. Then when editing the video I simply put the blend mode of my Cubase screen capture to "screen". It will remove the black background and show the picture underneath:)
@@JeremyBraunsMusic noted!! Thank you!!
Super Nice work! congrats
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning track Jeremy!
Thank you!
cette bande son est un des personnages du film. Aussi envoutante et brillante que la mise en scène, ou l'interprétation. Nolan est un Seigneur.
Listened to this as my pump up for the MCAT
When everything burns down to the ground
into endless ashes
Great work!
Thank you!
Masterpiece
An admirable attempt! Nice work!
That's a backhanded compliment if I ever saw one!
@@BrusselsDude It was a compliment. For a cover of the music, it was an admirable attempt to recreate Ludwig's work heard in the video.
Having seen the movie, wow. The soundtrack IS PIVOTAL. It moves so much of the movie, it *is* the bomb, it *is* the sound of death. So spectacularly done.
I love this track because it’s like a mix between Meeting Kitty and Can You Hear the Music…which I feel as if we don’t really have in the official score
It is felt as an immersion into the depths of human essence. Questions wander in the bottom: Am I capable of killing a man? And if so, how? Why do we punish some murders and award medals for others? Murder is relative. And this understanding is reflected in Oppenheimer's eyes
Masterpiece ✨🔥🔥🔥🔥
Damn, I'm in love with this masterpiece mann❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
Bravo !
What a masterpiece music 🔥
Very cool!)
I dont understand why this musical is not at Spotify or other platforms... Great music ! 🎉
god damn I'm so hyped
Amazing music!!!!Still in my ears!!!Really skirting enormous warning about the big danger of the humanity(200.000deads) brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤔
Amazing music for an amazing trailer. Can't wait for this. Looks like Zimmer is getting another Oscar.
It's Ludwig Göransson, a Swedish composer, who actually composed for this film
@@cendahng Really?! Damn then he nailed this and sounds a lot like a Zimmer score. He deserves a Oscar.
Last time Zimmer worked with Nolan was in 2017.
Bravo, bravo, bravo!!!
This is a Master Piece
Thank youuuuuu
How beautiful is this
Truly masterpiece movie+music 🤌❤️
Essa trilha sonora é uma obra prima
I got this score on repeat. Cant wait to see this film.
this music is therapy
Trilha sonora perfeito
Vai num crescendo para. O que se espera
O filme é perfeito
Tudo muito bem colocado
Well safe to say the rest of it was great too. This is one of my favorite tracks though
3:10 ❤
Brilliant composer Ludwig Göransson
I detect hints of Tenet soundtrack in here. Love it!
I'm from Vietnam, I watched this movie 2 times at the cinema. ❤
Guys the movie is a masterpiece, watch it whenever you can, i cant describe how good it was
@@Vsprivate10/10 i just left the theatre , I can’t describe the emotion im feeling right now , never felt like this after a movie, it’s quite shocking and beautiful at the same time, it’s his best work in my opinion
@@Vsprivate like the other guy, a true 10/10, once the movie ended i sat up and was walking out the theater having a big smile on my face thinking about how incredible that movie was, its such a rare and unique experience that i wish we have more of, and i think its Nolans best work, i absolutely love interstellar and it was hard thinking how oppenheimer was placed against interstellar but i think its better
THANK YOU!!! Holy fuck
Beautifully covered! This score is going to be up there with the scores for Inception and Interstellar in terms of cultural impact. May I also ask what plugins you use for your Orchestra sounds etc?
Thank you! Sure, I already answered earlier so here is a copy paste :
Brass : It's only Junkie XL (Horns a4, Tbns a3, and a custom patch emulating bass Tbns from the tenor Tbns)
Strings : Spicc are ensemble patches with the same parts copy/pasted. Layers are Albion One / Pacific Strings / Abbey Road One. Long sustains are from Albion One.
Piano : 3 layers of the same performance, all Native Instruments "Noire", 1 Grand Piano ("Emotional" preset I believe), 1 Felt (regular) & 1 with a Particle Engine to add rythm
I believe that's it! :)
@@JeremyBraunsMusic sorry I didn’t see any previous replies but did have a look. But that’s very impressive, the sound quality of your scores is really excellent.
No worries! & thank you, appreciate it! 🙏
I went to the theater solely for ludwig's work
Nice soundtrack
Masterpiece watched it saturday what a fantastic month July has been mission impossible dead reckoning and then Oppenheimer
That was really beautiful! Can't wait for the whole score!
Same here!
