Wow, I've never heard of epilating. I might need to try this because Nair never gets all of the hair off, and I don't like shaving because it darkens my pits.
Dont do this people, i used an acid cleanser once under my armpits and not only did it burn my under arms but it also gave me instense B.O for about 6 months despite me showering every day until my body healed 😂👍🏼no one gives a shit if you've got dark armpits, trust me.
If you do this, treat the area as a burn and don't do it to often. Acid pealing can help prevent ingrown hairs, but it's probably better to us a milder one; PHA is more suitable for sensitive skin. Light scrub could also work as an alternative if you dont want to buy anything.
When I stopped using deodorant and was careful with my diet, my underarms were no longer dark. It's always what you put inside your body that matters because what you put inside will appear outside.
To stop dark armpits is to wash them very well exfoliate. Washing them thoroughly and rubbing your deodorant in instead of slapping it on will prevent it
It's just a natural part of skin... I used to have a friend who would always comment on my underarms how nice and light they were. It's kind of crazy what some people stress over.
Nope this is soo not suitable for skin of color (including Asian) with time it can worsen your hyperpigmentstion (Alpha Arbutan, Kojic, Mandelic and Lactic acid 5% are safer)
I’ve looked at that before and somebody explained to me that it is a very powerful chemical and should only be used with very good aftercare. It would be horrible (at least for me) to put under the armpits as that is a very sensitive area, even more sensitive than the face
If your armpits are dark and it's not from some other underlying health condition (ie it's superficial) just scrubbing the armpits gently every day and applying a body cream/lotion can help a lot. Even using a sugar scrub gently in that area works. It doesnt take that long to see a change.
Can we collectively stop caring about people who want to make us feel bad about arbitrary crap like dark parts on our body? Not to hate on this creator specifically but I believe we as women have the power to just stop obsessing over these things and/or making other women and men make us feel bad about these things
It’s The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% exfoliating peeling serum. It is a very very strong acid that I would strongly recommend against applying to underarms. I use L’Oréal 3.5% Glycolic acid cleansing gel on my underarms and I have no irritation at all.

I don’t shave either but still have dark armpits. I’ve always had it and was always envious of my sister’s light armpits and she shaves! I don’t even use deodorant, but if I do, I also buff it out like you 😭 I got the genes for it or something
Personal experience: cut sugar and carb

My face literally went from: 👀 to 😳🤯😳🤯
That is such a strong chemical peel! Be super careful y’all
What is she putting on the cotton pad?
Is this the ordinary serum? I love this stuff!
What product are you using?
I’m not sure if this method works or is safe, but it’s always good to see a doctor before removing darkness
What product is this??
The Ordinary
AHA 30% + ВНА 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution
If you do this, treat the area as a burn and don't do it to often. Acid pealing can help prevent ingrown hairs, but it's probably better to us a milder one; PHA is more suitable for sensitive skin. Light scrub could also work as an alternative if you dont want to buy anything.
What product is being used?
When I stopped using deodorant and was careful with my diet, my underarms were no longer dark. It's always what you put inside your body that matters because what you put inside will appear outside.
To stop dark armpits is to wash them very well exfoliate. Washing them thoroughly and rubbing your deodorant in instead of slapping it on will prevent it
Try sugar waxing or epilating the armpit hair rather than shaving. In my experience shaving can cause darker skin it could also be dry.
Gylcolic acid 5% too
Azelaic acid as well :3
Wait but it worked for me 😭
Mandelic all the waaaaay
I’ve looked at that before and somebody explained to me that it is a very powerful chemical and should only be used with very good aftercare. It would be horrible (at least for me) to put under the armpits as that is a very sensitive area, even more sensitive than the face
Is that peeling solution?😮
Name of product
it also helps with underarm odor
My brown skin girlies please avoid any acid based products for hyperpigmentation especially under your arms cause it just gets darker
Thank you for sharing this nice tip. Everyone else can normalize dark armpits lol. We have different beauty standards.
Just use a gentle facial physical exfoliator for your underarms. Underarms have sensitive skins, please.
Just a reminder : It's not for everyone, People with sensitive skin can burn their skin.
If your armpits are dark and it's not from some other underlying health condition (ie it's superficial) just scrubbing the armpits gently every day and applying a body cream/lotion can help a lot. Even using a sugar scrub gently in that area works. It doesnt take that long to see a change.
Omgie what is she using ?
Why does she look like the gorgeous siren from LD+R
The obsession with perfect body is getting outta hands fr. 🙄😒
Can people do what they want?
@@jakeparelta1029 of course but without promoting.
We live in crazy times man. Crazy times, crazy people. Eventually they’ll forget how to breed.
@@amytrezy2307 how is that promoting? Is she telling you to do this?
@@jakeparelta1029She's literally showing you how to use them and suggesting us to use it for our armpits. Lol
Don't need a doctor degree to see smth is wrong with this recommendation 😂
Just use a lemon or a lime as deodrant in the morning after washing. Fades darks marks and you dont smell!
What is it? The name or brand?
What are these things called and are they good? 😊
Everybody’s always obsessed with lightening everything
Can we collectively stop caring about people who want to make us feel bad about arbitrary crap like dark parts on our body? Not to hate on this creator specifically but I believe we as women have the power to just stop obsessing over these things and/or making other women and men make us feel bad about these things
I immediately looking for some cotton pads 😂😂😂
What are you using?
What gets me is she doesn't even have that issue
Your armpits are supposed to be slightly darker yall, it’s how they function
Unfortunately alot of women of colour are made fun of for having it. Especially if you have dark skin.
No actually . Not for everyone
Righttt, groin area and underarms are in general a little bit pigmented than the other places in the body because of the everyday chafing
Girl but your armpits are perfectly light with no skin darkening
maybe because she did this bozo
@@FaithMichelle420 wdym bozo, her armpits are light on every vid you'll see so
Wait this actually blow my mind lol, gotta try it
What’s the product!???
It’s The Ordinary AHA 30% BHA 2% exfoliating peeling serum. It is a very very strong acid that I would strongly recommend against applying to underarms. I use L’Oréal 3.5% Glycolic acid cleansing gel on my underarms and I have no irritation at all.
Is it the ordinary serum????
Mhm
The fact that I can not anderstand this trend make me cry🙂💔
I heard from a dermatologist, people with dark underarms should not wax and not use loofah on the under arms the skin there is too sensitive.
Dermatologists exist for a reason guys.
I switched my deodorant to one with no aluminum in it and my dark armpits went away! I was also getting blocked pores that would turn into abscess from the deodorant clogging my pores. I use native but there’s way cheaper options for those of us ballin on a budget- or just embrace your dark pits because nobody is looking at them besides you lol! Don’t do what’s shown in this video, the skin under our armpits is different from our face and you could be doing more harm than good
What is that?
I'm thinking of using this on my feet cos my dead skin accumulates fast on my legs/feet
Yeah I followed one of the influencer on instagram.. and burned my armpits like horribly. NEVER follow that🙅🏻♀️❌
DO NOT USE THIS FOR THE FULL 10 MINUTES IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME USING IT!!!
The brand even WARNS you to build a tolerance to it and that can take months!
Please be careful with AHA peels, and actives in general
Be happy your don’t have dark armpits from having such dark thick armpit hair. I’m French y’all don’t know the struggle.
What is that stuff?
Also on the elbows, knuckles, hands, knees and behind 😊😂
