@@melonmochiii no the skin on your armpits is more similar to the skin on your chest, breast, top of feet. It's thin like paper, our skin is thicker than you may think. Under the eyes are similar too actually! Sorry an after thought. But our face is like mango skin where as armpits and the other areas mentions are like... Lettuce. Oh and they constantly are running against each other.. like your inner thighs that can chafe on its own.

@@Itsunclegabby well… the PRCM has been accused of being “blatantly misleading” and this doc is mostly about diet etc. and depending on the problems op has that won’t cure it.
Eg thyroid problem (rather common hashimoto)… it’s autoimmune and thus the hormone producing cells have been destroyed. No factory means no hormones. Means take those hormones in a pill.
      Food won’t do that.
And pcos as well as hypothyroidism can lead to cholesterol problems etc. so could be connected.
So generally… op will go to their doctors and get a plan fit for them. That’s what’s good.
And to OP: hope you can get all of these issues under control as well as possible and the lab tests will be fine! Good luck.

Note: darkening armpits can be* a sign of insulin resistance progressing toward diabetes. Our skin tells us a lot about our health, and focusing only on the aesthetic aspect can keep us from learning important (and potentially lifesaving) information.
*Edit: Holy smokes, folks, I said CAN BE. If dark pits are normal for you, ignore. If it’s a new or worsening thing, be aware that it COULD be clinically significant and ask your doctor if concerned.

If you do this, treat the area as a burn and don't do it to often. Acid pealing can help prevent ingrown hairs, but it's probably better to us a milder one; PHA is more suitable for sensitive skin. Light scrub could also work as an alternative if you dont want to buy anything.

If your armpits are dark and it's not from some other underlying health condition (ie it's superficial) just scrubbing the armpits gently every day and applying a body cream/lotion can help a lot. Even using a sugar scrub gently in that area works. It doesnt take that long to see a change.

I use native but there’s way cheaper options for those of us ballin on a budget- or just embrace your dark pits because nobody is looking at them besides you lol!
