Ah the good ole days of 2006 RUclips. Actually 2005-2012 were the best years, such a great platform but here we are in 2022 and content creators are getting DMCA’s, so restricted on what can be posted, de-monitization, etc. back then that’s where the count was absolutely GOLDEN. This glitch does happily exist in the Japanese PS2 version! I like to go back and play my Japanese copy just to play in this out of bounds and see how high I can jump up into the void of space or how far I can travel across the sea's sky box before I hit a wall. I think it was Wakka who said he and Tidus were swimming really far but all they saw was nothing but water and I'm here like, "Yeah, no kidding. I'm trying to see how far I can swim out myself."
I actually accidentally found this glitch i was just jumping around with sora excited to be back in destiny islands and he started standing on air i didnt try to keep jumping bc of fear of crashing the game (didnt know much about glitches) so i just ran off the floaty bit and ran toward the door going to the secret place initiating the cutscene

I remember doing this glitch back in the day. I even remember a video where someone was fighting Ansem and was suddenly flung into the sky by the guardian due to a similar glitch. Ansem had to fly all the way up to Sora to continue the fight.
Seeing OG KH1 without the Reaction commands is so jarring given HOW MUCH time I've spent on 1.5 since it's release, and since I got it. And I spent a SHIT ton of time on KH1 before that lol

HUD elements usually get messed up by upscaling the resolution, native PS2 resolution is 480p and the entire game is designed with that resolution in mind, increasing the resolution causes some things to break, most commonly the HUD, all PS2 games work like this for the most part, you could always play at its original resolution but it's an eye sore on modern monitors a small sacrifice for higher visual clarity.
One of the first RUclips videos I ever watched was a Kingdom Hearts AMV to the song Forever 17 by Zoegirl. I don't remember the exact date, but I think it was right after KH2 came out, because there was some dialogue from Namine's conversation with Roxas in the Twilight Town mansion as a voiceover. That video is how I was introduced to Kingdom Hearts in the first place - I'd never heard of the game before that, I was just looking for videos to the song and was extremely confused by the weird video that had CG versions of Donald and Goofy fighting black bug-things alongside a spikey-haired anime character. At that point in my life I was convinced that anime was stupid (not because _I_ had watched any, but my older sister didn't like it and I was a copycat as a child) so I didn't bother looking into it further. I'm kind of sad about that now. I missed out for years and then played the games out of order when I DID get finally give them a try, thus confusing myself even more than usual when playing these games.
No one will probably care or believe me, but I was actually listed as the ‘founder’ of the glitch in the video description (it’s still there). I went by zSoraz at the time. That was my AIM username back when AOL Instant Messenger was a thing, and the username xSorax was already taken. It was also the username I used for Kingdom Hearts forums. I can’t remember which KH forum I posted the glitch to… it might have been KH-vids, but I think it was an even older one. I actually had the game since December 2002 and I discovered the glitch in 2003, when I was 10, on probably my 4th playthrough of the game. When I finally discovered forums, I just had to make a thread about it. I actually had to write out and describe to people how to do it because I didn’t know what a capture card was at the time or I would have just recorded it myself. Anyway, just a little history lesson for those who read this.
Now, the reason why this glitch probably doesn't exist after the original ps2 games is because they actually lost the original source code for KH1 and had to remake a lot of the game from scratch. squeenix probably didn't feel the need to add in a glitch that broke immersion.

I remember there was an Avenged Sevenfold "cover" of a song from "Nightmare" album that was ONLY on YT "Mobile" (what it was called once Android was first introduced with the Google One {OLD}) and I'm pretty sure once the server closed once it was merged with "Normal" YT it was lost forever :(
Omg, i remember I accidentally did a glitch/hack in kh2 before sora lands in hallow bastion at the start of the game, i hit so many buttons while it was loading, once u can walk around, i went to the shop where louie is at and the ULTIMA KEYBLADE was for sale for 800 munny! Too bad i had 500 munny on me 😂

Nah, I think it's just a graphical glitch caused by the emulator. It's pretty common for that to happen.
