Thanks for posting your controls indicator. I realised I’ve been moving my throttle far too much after seeing this, and my case 1s have now improved significantly. If I didn’t own your Tomcat campaigns already, I’d have to buy them 😆

    Very nice passes!!
Also, like others here, appreciate showing the control inputs!

Glad to know I’m not the only one getting so many EGIW remarks

the built-in LSO is still calibrated for the Hornet, so it's not quite compatible with the F-14 :(

That’s what I figured, so frustrating

i love the f14 my fav plane of all time and i love the A versions the best but man if you dont keep those throttles up while landing or getting the the back of the boat your going into the drink while your engines spoil up for half a year

Punching the air right now trying to land this fat boy myself, nice landings.

Nice job! When I'm on speed the plane seems to shake/shudder more than yours. Is there a way to get less shaking? I'm definitely on speed and AOA. thanks

The Tomcat starts shaking when you go above 15 units, so on speed it shouldn’t be shaking too much

Do you use DLC or throttle only? Thanks.

Mainly the throttle. The best landing is one where you don't have to touch the DLC, it's there 'just in case' you really need to make a preventive correction.

Thank you for the reply. I have to say that you must be a genius on that. The TF30 response is too slow I cannot make it work by only adjusting the throttle.

How do you get the FLOLS to come up?

sweet flying! what curves/deadzones do you use in the tomcat?

    • @ReflectedSimulations
      @ReflectedSimulations  4 года назад +1

Thanks! No deadzone nor curves for the stick, a curve of 20 for the rudder, but no deadzone.

Nice Landing! Was all done manually or using the autothrottle?

One thing I’ve seen in your approaches is that you’re consistently very long in the groove; typically you should be no more than 15 to 18 seconds from the time you roll out at the start to impact on the deck.

Yeah that’s right! I’ve managed to shorten it since, though, check out my case I tutorial.
