Your right , i said the same thing. I got my pair and they was A1. Leather was plush. No QC issues . They tried to make everybody not buy so they could get as many pairs as they can sit on em and up the price in the future. I stopped following alot of these influencers when i got my first pair. The 1 million drop probably includes kids and toddler sizes. I'm glad i got these. They're definitely a beautiful shoe. I had the original ones when i was 18 back in 89 and these are the closest to the OG of all the military blues that dropped since the OG.
It also includes…well…the rest of the entire planet. All the numbers seem to be from an US perspective, but the EU has SNKRS, Asia has SNKRS, every region has tons of Footlockers, JDs and boutiques…1.000.000 suddenly isn’t that big of a number (it felt somewhat similar to the Concord and Bred 11s, also rumored to be a million plus pairs)
As an old head (47), I'm disappointed in the shoe for so many reasons. 1. There are at least 3 different shades of blue (back tabs, midsole, eyelets) 2. The blue-ish or gray tint on the uppere 3. Gray wings seem off Whether or not the color of blue is close to the ogs is up for debate, but at this point, they could have called them reimagined I don't care about resell prices, that doesn't change my opinion at all. Just my .02 cents

I expected quality issues so I bought multiple pairs to swap them out. I didn’t have issues with a few pairs. My main issue is that the shoe is 215 and really no difference from when they were 185 - if that make sense. There will be a lot of bad pairs in the outlets.
Proof to your point being, these people will complain about the materials on these Military blue 4's then turn right around and pay crazy resell prices of $600 or more for a Travis Scott sneaker with a velcro strap. There's the proof you need to know RUclipsrs have no taste, just all about the hype.
I got the pure money 4s and the leather on them is buttery soft. But I don't consider the military blues to have bad leather. It's just sturdier leather. I think it has to do with the other materials like the wing is leather on the pure money's. So it works better. The plastic wing on militarys needs the leather to be stiff I believe. They know what they doing.
"Got'em" on the app over the weekend...at the house yesterday and no quality issues at all...i've never resold any shoes and just like them for my own personal wear...love the look of these on feet! (missed out on the bred reim :/ )

Found a few spots where they were sitting in my area the day after release and seriously thought about doubling up because you never know when they'll release again, but decided not to so that someone else would have a shot at em.

I got the sb 4 so I have a few 4's now the military blue unless you going to wear outrank brand or jordan brand it is difficult to drop fits but I have watched the content creators flip and people follow when the stock numbers was provided but I never cared about that I just cop what I like and thats it a lot of times if I cop a release I will sit on the shoe for a few months then bring it out so everyone isn't wearing the same shoe as me
I got 4 pairs (two td) for the whole fam. The kids pairs are the only pairs that aren’t fucked up. Tons of issues all over my wife and I’s from suede ripple issues, scuffs, bad leather in multiple spots. I’ve never sent a pair back for minor issues, but holy hell.

Them “sneaker heads” real deal not real sneaker heads. They hype beast & try to cover it up by downplaying shoes that was popping back in the day. I was able to cop them from the snkrs app. They are nice but mine has a quit a lot of defects, the grey leather part for example is not the same colour on the two shoes :/ Still like them 4sure.
I got 3 pair I kept the best pair and the other 2 pairs were bad the tag on the back had glue and the glue on the soles was bad as well, under the black light it looked rushed I like the shoes but they should've took their time with this
This new generation of sneaker heads cares more about “hype and resale” then the actual models/colorways they are buying . We all saw what happened with the black cats nobody wanted them untill that resale got to 800$+ now they “timeless classis”
The high number of people who said they weren't going after these because "everybody gonna have them" was hilarious. I couldn't imagine being in that mindset. I hope they stay that way. It'll make it easier for me to cop the OGs.
