I wear my black pair religiously and I have the wear and tear on my left shoe and I’ve noticed the blue layer underneath. I had no clue that was part of Samuel Ross’s plan with the shoes. Here I was about to double up on them but I appreciate my pair even more 🙏🏾

those Williams OG Chicago's sold out pretty quick on few skate shops was pretty surprised people really was rocking wit em. They didn't look bad tho. The lakers lynx model was fire to just didn't like the big DC brands on the heel of the midsole.

For vintage all you need is to know your measurements. Like a shoe size. I’m a 22x30. Just measure your pit to pit and length (side of top collar to bottom of shirt) of your favorite shirt in inches.
Can't wait for black/gum suede Sal 23s. They're pretty much the perfect skate shoe and we're beyond ubiquitous in mid 90s skate video. Just a good medium puff with a good sole. I bought some ds from 97 a few years back and skated them for a while, they still rocked, even at 20 years old. Totally held up. The picture was some of the reissues/remixes, which were all hideous.

Vintage is the way to go. Plenty of clothes that need to be reused and worn with plenty of sizes. Just look at landfills or beaches full of unused/worn once clothes. Just don’t buy the hype stuff, and reputable/trustworthy resellers will price good vintage at a fair price. Would love to see the guys talk about the sustainability of sneakers and what the industry should do for the sake of the waste crisis

I think brandon is right on the money. If a man is responsible for the design of two IPs that generated so much money and maybe even more importantly propelled the brand into popular consciousness on TWO different occasions, then you should never lay that guy off. He deserves a ceremonial title and a paycheck for the rest of his life with a "horizontal transfer" into a different role if you truly would like to get rid of him. However, maybe he really did leave by himself? Or he was offered a ceremonial role and declined for a severance instead? In the end, it's speculation, and I could see a wealthy designer taking his talents to another brand instead of essentially retiring early when given the option.
