Kingdom of heaven’s intro is legendary, most satisfying intro to a song ever, the quantum enigma’s intro comes in 2nd place..
And if you have any turmoil going on in your brain, this sort of throat singing will actually clear that. I'm a sound healer and I absolutely appreciate this

Where did you get "kingdom of heaven" from? i searched for this version everywhere and i couldn't find it
I think they slowed the intro down and re-added it after part 1 finished for it to blend into part 2 better.
Kingdom of Heaven is one of Mark's concepts, which has different parts to it (google them, the Quantum Enigma is part II). The Tibetian throat singing of the intro is taken from a song called Praising the Deity. The user here added the beginning of the song, which makes the intro longer. I guess on the original DYU album, they cut it to make the structure of the song more dense.

HOLY FUCK lol just floating around youtube and one comment on a video led to this song and I tell myself "why not?" just listening to this gives mix images of Vikings/knights era like fucking Skyrim just went full fucking metal. It sounds good though, can anyone give any info on this though? Like is this one full song? Or what? cause the length is insane. Would also like info on the band but then again I guess that would be asking for too much LOL
Welcome to Symphonic Metal. It sounds like they edited an album together but if you youtube Epica you wont be disappointed. Epica is a Dutch symphonic metal band. Simone Simons is the lead female vocalist. the band was founded by guitarist and male vocalist Mark Jansen

Dream Theater has a 40 minute song, these type of durations are quite common in progressive metal
