Last weekend, I watched some Lolo Pass videos with some of the worst music ever. I just wanted to yell, "Contact Camera Noob on how to do music."
His feedback did nothing to offer improvements or genuine feedback. He isn’t offering a critique. This speaks volumes about who he is and how he lives his life. Keep shooting and enjoying Rusty.
Absolutely. Anyone can criticise, it just takes a big mouth and a lot of noise. To critique properly though takes skill and talent to feedback constructive criticism. Personally I didn’t find him amusing nor helpful.
April, if your photography brings you joy and you like the photos you take then go ahead and do it whatever anyone else says. I always say at the end of all my videos to go out with your camera and have fun with your photography. I never add the line “but only if you produce excellent shots”. It can be hurtful though when you get the caustic response from the internet. Just try to put it behind you and move on to fulfil your goals not anyone else’s. Best wishes Brian

Wonder why you sent your photo to camera conspiracies Channel...there are a good many other channels Like Rob Trek, Micro four thirds Nerds , Marlene Hilema , Robin Wong ...these are quite seasoned people and quite empathetic ...and will give constructive ideas to improve and enjoy Birding...but then as you rightly say, it is just the joy of being out there in Nature among Birds and greenery that is the Real purpose and much as we enjoy taking snaps ,it is eventually to relive the moments captured...and as we gain experience we learn more and more and that reflects in our videos and Photos as well...Please continue to share your Birding and videos ...and do check out Rob Trek , a friendly and fantastic all round photographer ,whom I think of as 'Our friendly neighbourhood Professional Photographer', quite knowledgeable and down to earth.
Camera conspiracies is really about humor, most of it derogatory -insulting camera companies as well as people, sometimes even himself. His offer to evaluate people's photos should have two disclaimers - that he will find things in the photo to insult , and that he is a vlogger and video shooter, as is not that interested or experienced in still photography, so his opinions are not based on expertise. By the way, my vision is fine and I watched this on a 40 inch tv - I didn't think the squirrel looked out of focus. Maybe not tack sharp but, still very acceptable.
I remembered your channel when I watched his video. Nice to see you made your own feedback too. I understand his humor I don't think you should feel upset if anything take his feedback. I did like the video of the Rusty. But I think his point was pretty clear, the picture isn't so interesting or nothing is intriguing about it . if you are going to share your art of photography to others be open to any form of criticism you'd truly improve when you can look into criticism and check yourself after receiving feedback. I'm am also no professional but I'd take any form of criticism anyday any time to improve my art. Keep doing what you do. You say youre not a professional but you're never not far from being one
The only person that has to be pleased with your photos is you. Anyone that offers critiques and doesn't start with 'here's what I like' is just trying to throw shade and boost their own clicks. Keep shooting and keep having fun with it. If your goal is to get more artistic photos follow people like Scott Keys, Jan Wagner, Steve Perry, Morton Hilmer, or Trond Westby on you tube. No matter you goals, keep at it and have fun!

I practice photography for the same reasons you mentioned… but I also don’t submit them to anyone unless I’m prepared to get absolutely roasted lol
