    What RV are you looking to purchase, or if you are already RVing, what do you think your next RV will be? If you're looking for a challenge during this video, count how many times we say, "Look at this!" 😂

    It’s just my husband and I but I can see us in the holiday rambler. With the back deck. We could invite the kids and grandparents to go with us. Lol. I could just see my husband driving a class A. Oh my goodness the deep blue paint job was awesome. We need get out to a good RV show. We love Less Junk more Journey. I think I was one of their first couple hundred subscribers. We are also from Tennessee. Thank you for the great close up look at the beautiful RVs. We have an old kon tiki travel trailer , I would love to fix it up like the vintage looking one. And the truck topper is awesome. I don’t know it could be like that. Take care, Leslye

    A little late in viewing, but worth the wait. These RV's are awesome. It's amazing what they squeeze in small spaces. Looking forward to your travels in 2019. Take care and be safe.

      Keeping an Open mind thanks so much for subscribing and joining us on our journey! We had a hard time deciding where to start as the beginning would put our videos behind but we wanted people to see it from the beginning. We actually filmed the process of selling our home and all of our stuff so we will be able to show that in future videos. 😃 Thanks again and take care!

    Catching up through your videos and really liked this one with your showing so many different RVs. Loved that you liked the truck campers. We had a large one from 2014 thru 2018and were going to upgrade to a new Host Mammoth (the name says it all, LOL!) truck camper but our older F350 Dually wouldn't handle it so getting a newer/bigger truck as well would have cost more than the new 2018 Winnebago View Class C we ended up buying. As a couple traveling by ourselves with 2 Cavaliers, we absolutely LOVE our View. Thanks for the great videos.

    I'm sold on the Peterbuilt Freightliner Super-C's from IWS Sales. Air ride and you can access the roof from the front bunk via a hatch. Their entire rigs are absolutely beautiful. But expensive... I need t win the lottery. haha

      Super Cs are pretty awesome 😎 unlimited budget, I might be looking into one of those. The layouts are fairly limited however, same with class As. Appreciate watching these and taking the time to comment 😃

    When doing RV reviews you should state if it's best for full-timers v. Weekenders/vacationers. Speaking as a weekenders/vacationers.

    • @FindingOurSomeday
      @FindingOurSomeday  5 лет назад

      JD 3 That’s a tough one, technically everything we toured would work for either. That’s such a subjective designation based on budget, family size, hobbies, dry camping/RV parks and individual comfort level of what you can move around. I personally would never recommend something cheap just because you don’t think you would use it that often. Even if your not using things break with it just sitting, even if you’re not using it. For us, I think if we weren’t full time and I didn’t need to carry our life everywhere we would be in that (or one similar) class c we toured in the end. I wish it was easy to define, but it’s really subjective. At this point if I knew a little bit about an individual person and family I could say if would work best for one or the other.... thanks for watching, and for the feedback🙏😊 -Corey

    • @roamingwolfpack
      @roamingwolfpack 5 лет назад +1

      Hey Corey thanks for the response! I made that comment because you had mentioned in the one travel trailer, I think you said that you almost bought, how some previous storage was removed for something else. And while as a full-timer that extra storage I'm sure is vital for you, a weekender/vacationer might be okay without that now missing storage. That was the context I was coming from- a hey this might not work for a full time family, but a weekender/vacationers might be able to work with this. Personally storage is a must for me. But again thanks for the response and perspective.

      JD 3 ahh, I see what you’re saying, makes sense! It’s funny you say this, I’ve been reviewing footage for the next video most of the day today. I actually say that in 2 tours “hey this is cool, it would easily work if you weren’t full timing” ... unfortunately I don’t think I will use those tours, it doesn’t fit the theme, we toured a newish RV brand called Evoke. Pretty neat RVs but didn’t seem as full time friendly.

    Either long term RVing or Full timing your total storage is very important. Some floorplans offer very little.

    Truck campers are great....until the wind blows!! They are in the bed of a truck and are not mounted to the frame...We have a Lance....love it, but got blown off the road on HWY 58 between Barstow and Needles this winter...just say'n...know those are out there with Truck Campers who will claim they can drive them thru a hurricane without any problems...drive one before you buy one.

  • @Erin-Thor
    @Erin-Thor 5 лет назад +2

    Sorry, but you lost all credibility when you said you almost bought a Winnebago, they are THE most poorly, cheaply made product on the market. Had you bought one you too would have the joy of re-plumbing the entire trailer because the pipes were just stuck together with zero sealant (the blue plastic acid), requiring the entire coach to be rewired because they failed to properly attach any wiring to the electrical switches and components. Then when all that’s done, you have the joy of tearing it all apart again because you have to replace the ½" plain, non-mold resistant plywood subfloor on the entire coach because the water damage has caused your feet to go through the floor after all of the previously mentioned plumbing problems leaks and failures. You haven’t lived until you realize that your midnight flush caused a flood, and you have a nice proper mess to clean up.

    • @FindingOurSomeday
      @FindingOurSomeday  5 лет назад

      Umm, that sounds awful😳 sorry to hear this, seriously, what a nightmare! So I get no credibility back for not actually buying one???😂 befinit of the doubt🙏 so do you still have it? Did they do anything for you?

    • @Erin-Thor
      @Erin-Thor 5 лет назад +1

      Finding Our Someday - it’s been years since then, but I will NEVER buy a Winnebago again. And from other reviews... some people have had good experiences so maybe, possibly, their quality has improved. And yes, you get points for not buying one. And Winnebago tried, but the problems still killed several vacations, and I assume that the Several different RV repair shops tried too... but the first, second and third plumbing repairs were just spot repairs. Too an act of congress to get Winnebago to reconnect and re-glue ALL of the unexposed plumbing pipe connections, but then when the sewer pipes started failing Winnebago ducked out. I had that done myself at my expense. When electrical switches, outlets and devices started failing, they paid for 4 warranty repairs, but refused to redo them all. I had taken a few apart and discovered the problem, a mix of tension connectors, and screw down connectors that were barely held together. As the vehicle went down the road they were all coming lose. Winnebago refused to correct a "non-existent" problem, so I had to reconnect every electrical connection in the coach. Then when I put my foot through the floor the first time they did a spot floor replacement. But they refused to replace the entire floor when my wife’s foot went through the floor in another spot and we realized that the plywood floor was rotted everywhere that had been soaked by the repeated plumbing problems. When we pulled up the vinyl flooring we found wood rot in many areas. We traded it in, instead of fixing it at that point. I’m not sure what the dealership did with it.
