The future Alice saw is what would have happened if Renesmee hadn't happened. Like Edward said in Twilight, the future is subjective, and always changing.

In Alice’s vision, Bella already has the golden eyes of a “vegetarian” vampire, so it would be further in the future. The vision just showed that she WOULD become a vampire, not the immediate time after the change.
Yeah I don't get why people are acting like there's some contradiction here? These two scenes could very easily take place in the same timeline. It's just two different occasions of the same people running in the woods?
Right! For all we know, Alice's vision could easily take place 10 or more years into the future.

First time I came across her was a movie insane movie 🎬 called summers moon 🌙 not for the faint of heart but they actually filled the entire movie in less than 3 weeks! She was so young...

I just want to say, Alice and Edward’s relationship is really understated in the movies. Those two LOVE each other so much. They are so incredibly close and would happily die for each other. They are the closest pair of the siblings. Alice’s ran to Bella in New Moon because she couldn’t stand losing Edward. She loves her brother and Edward loves his sister.
Also what the movie doesn’t highlight enough is Aro is just as obsessed with getting Edward to join the guard as he is with Alice of Bella. They don’t even MENTION it in the movies, but Aro REALLY wanted Edward too. The only gifted one he didn’t want was Jasper which makes no sense.
I don't think he knew about Jaspers gift, it wasn't mentioned in the books or movies as much as Edward and Alice's.
@@ashleys4913 But Aro can read every thought anyone has ever had. If he read Edward’s mind that means he has seen Jasper’s gift. Jasper’s mind for that matter when Edward was around. I’m guessing he just didn’t see Jasper’s gift as as useful as Edward or Alice. It totally is though. Or possible he didn’t want to bring Alice’s mate for fear she’d be loyal to him and not the Volturi. If he brought a sibling pair in Alice and Edward maybe he hoped they’d be like Jane and Alec.
It’s possible Jasper’s gift would be more difficult to control for the Volturi. He could, potentially, cause the entire guard to feel rebellious at once, in theory.
@@kvbstudios316 well also in fairness they KIND of have someone who has talent like Jasper. They have Chelsea. Chelsea can influence emotional ties and bond people together. She keeps the Volturi bonds and stops people from leaving. She can’t break really loving bonds like mates or a deep platonic soulmate bond like Edward and Alice or Edward and Carlisle. So I suppose they don’t really need Jasper. They have no one like Alice. They have Aro which is KIND of like Edward, but Edward can read minds at a distance without touch which would be HUGE for them
The guard already has 2 members similar to Jasper 1 who can sense bonds Marcus and one who can sever those bonds Chelsea. Marcus was married to Aros sister and they were planning on leaving the Volturi so Aro had his own sister killed so that the Volturi wouldn’t lose Marcus’ gift

There should have been a series to continue the story of Bella's new life as a vampire. At the end of the movie BD part 2, Aro and his clans didnt really seem to surrender. He seemed like having other plans.

I believe she didn’t have that vision as clear until it came to the volturi. in midnight sun we know she sees 2 outcomes, bella dying and bella becoming a vampire. she started getting a hint of a third possibility, one where bella stays human and with edward. but once the volturi made their threat, in that moment alice decided the only way to save her was to turn her, so she made her mind up therefore solidifying her vision for the time being. maybe im wrong but thats my theory.
Is seriously wish that there were longer movies for these books. There was so much detail that could have been added to the movies. I would have happily gone for an entire extra movie if they would have made the movies more detailed and included more from the books.
It is a lifetime movie and book for me . Whatever people might think of twilight. I love and adore all of it . Bella was such an amazing character, very easy to relate and understand . And kristen did amazing job and rob too . Every cast member was amazing. ❤

In Midnight Sun, Alice tells edward that Bella will either die, or become a vampire with a very SMALL chance that bella would be able to age, so long as edward makes it through the meadow scene. But it also depends on what Bella decides.
In this moment, she showed Aro what she had seen in the past - bella as "one of US" (A cullen with golden eyes). Which also confirmed that shed be a vampire.
When bella becomes a vampire in breaking dawn, her eyes are red because shes a brand new vampire. It takes time for the "vegetarian" diet to kick in and change the eye colour. So Alice's vision was simply farther in the future - when bella becomes a full cullen with yellow eyes. Thats all.
I miss this feminine version of her.
She would have excelled far more in her career with this

@afs0073 I meant that there was a SMALL chance in Bellas future that she would remain human, and age. But it was a very small chance. When she got pregnant with Renesmee, that became impossible of course.

Sooo...Alice was willing to see Bella's decision to change & I think it was just beautiful & it was a miracle to save Edward Cullen.
Alice, the one the Volturi coveted the most. She literally risked her life, her love ( Jasper, the most dangerous vampire to ever come from the south, with a heartbreaking ability), her family, and her own future. Aro had no idea what Alice could do until this exact moment. Aro could probably also see the things that were hidden from Alice by her own mind. She was powerful as a human, placed in an asylum for her visions, hunted and turned by James, woke alone ( and, without her ability, WOULD have been completely savage), her visions led her to Jasper, who she could sense needed her, and a family that accepted her completely. Aro, who could see evrysingle moment of life with a touch, knew that she could be the most powerful weapon in his Army, along with Jasper, because he wouldnt leave her.
Aro feared Jasper usurping his place in the Voltairy Group or even just causing an uprising for freedom. If you read the books too, he also already feels threatened by the 'power' Carlyle commands over so many vampires. That includes how many come to his call for help that usually live alone or in smaller family units that Aro sees as 'resisting him'. Aro rules through fear but believes he rules through strength. Just like Carlyle believes that they come as favors for a friend. When in reality the others willingly follow Carlyle and see him as their Leader out of respect and for their own safety in numbers. Carlyle is clear about his boundaries, still listens to them, does his best to let them make their own choices while offering counsel, and only telling them no when it will endanger too many of them/upset the balance between them and the Voltairy. There are multiple reasons Aro has his group leave walk away instead of fight but it's for tactical reasons and Aro's personal dark ambitions that are enough to make my skin crawl and if I remember right both him and nearly everyone with him realize it too. That's the most I will say because if you want to read or listen to the books then I haven't really ruined anything extra from them.
Since bella had golden eyes wouldnt that mean that, that is a vision of them past what breaking dawn showed so renesmee existed in the time frame of the vision she saw
Nope. Alice's visions were influenced by someone making a decision, so that vision was from Alice deciding in that moment to turn Bella. Since she never did, that future never came into fruition.
@@queenbri7091 no, this vision was the one Alice had when Bella chose to move to Forks, which caused her to meet Edward and create that future. Alice didn’t have this vision in that moment with the volturi, she only offered so they wouldn’t kill Bella. Edward had been denying it and fighting it the entire time they got together, until eventually, he couldn’t outwit destiny anymore.
Bella was always meant to be one of them. They couldn’t live without the other and that was the only way they could be together. Bella was finally turned just a few days before her 20th birthday, due to giving birth to Renesmee. Which is what she wanted as she didn’t want to be frozen as an “adult” when Edward would remain 17.

I disagree, kind of. I think the vision still happened exactly how it was shown, regardless of who turned her, or what the circumstances were. The future isn't set in stone, and there can be multiple paths, but some things are always destined to happen. This vision has never and would never change.
I think of it like, Alice may have had over 100 visions of HOW Bella would be turned, because the circumstances aren't set in stone like the outcome. So no matter how many different visions she had on how or when Bella would be changed, the vision of her as a vampire already, has always and will always be the same.

Visions are never exactly how things truly turn out. They are always depictions of what is to come

I never understood why Edward was so against Bella turning. Super human senses and immortality? Why the fuck not. Especially if their love was as true as true could be, why wouldn’t he want to live an eternity by her side? I feel like it would have been an awful betrayal to allow Bella to grow old while he stayed young forever. That would have left her living in misery. And, if I’m the future they really did want to no longer be of the world, someone could rip their heads off for them and let that be that 🤷🏻♀️ it just never made sense to me
It was because he thought becoming a vampire damned your soul, and he didn't want that for her.

Because he thought her soul would be damned. That if there were an afterlife it would be hell. For all vampires. That and having to watch her suffer for days through the change would be agonizing for both of them. But mainly the soul thing. There is a scene in Eclipse where they are cuddling on the bed and she asks him for the real reason why he was so against her becoming a vampire he basically said he knows the sacrifices that she would be making to become like him..that's he's lived it..she thinks he has a soul and he doesn't..but to risk HER soul just for the sake of him never having to lose her..and to watch her suffer that..would be the most selfish thing he ever does....it may not be word for word but it's pretty close to the words he said. I've seen the movies hundreds of times. Almost know them word for word.🤷🏼♀️😂
Also, in Midnight Sun, Rosalie never really forgave Carlisle for changing her and robbing her of a normal future where she gets married and has babies; or Edward, because she was initially created to be a mate for Edward. He was worried Bella might come to resent him the same way
