I’ve sharpened this knife twice one freehand and once with a guided system and I personally had no issues and thought it sharpened easily. Surprised me
I definitely wanna know more about 3V. I know from using and abusing a Benchmade 591bk, I was always very impressed that it was so flexible when it came to prying, but even under such stressful conditions I never rolled or chipped the edge.
Hi smkw’’ you’re doing such a great job ! Realy want to know about m398 steel witch I have on my Fox Chillin’ cutter but not much Infos about it.. Thx’’
All you need are good diamond or CBN sharpening stones (I use Atoma) and diamond compound for stropping (I use Stroppy Stuff), then sharpening Rex 121 is no problem.

I had to upgrade my Precision adjust 😅 I had to buy the 3d printed stone holder and CBN stones. I was originally just getting a chipped apex
Yeah I wouldn’t even try to use anything other than Diamond or cbn
pretty much same experience here on diamond stones. got a burr super quick and seemed really easy to sharpen for me too.
With diamond stones of course
Great video thanks! keep up the great work!
