    Thanks. Once again I always appreciate your insight. When I came across your channel the first time, I was just hoping for a helpdesk job. Now I passed the CCNA and have an opportunity to interview for a junior network engineer internship in only 8 months!
    These tips will help me for my interview. Wish me luck!

    I really appreciate your videos, man. Hearing about your wireless admin position has really piqued my interest in that field. I'm just starting out in IT. I have my network+ and A+ and have been working helpdesk for a bit now. Is there a path you would recommend as far as certs, skills, and roles you would recommend someone gain if someone wanted to go that route?

    Another great video! Getting ready to take the Azure Fundamentals cert then finishing up Sec+ to complete the trifecta. I'm looking at getting some hands on experience with MS Server and RedHat linux next up. You are the motivator!

    What's up man. What order do you recommend getting the certifications? Is it like you said in the video, A+, Networking, and then Security?

    • @TheBuffNerd7539
      @TheBuffNerd7539  2 года назад +2

      yes! if you are green and still trying to figure out which direction you are going to go. Take that route.. You will build your skills while also figuring out what avenue you want to take in the industry.

    Hey man this is a little off topic but I have been watching your videos I'm really trying to get off the helpdesk and become a network admin or engineer I'm studying my network + what tips would you give me on getting off the helpdesk my current job just won't give me the opportunity.
    Also, what do you do to lab I can't afford or have the room for physical servers and networking equipment so I have been using packet tracer is that enough?

    • @TheBuffNerd7539
      @TheBuffNerd7539  2 года назад +3

      Yes, Packet tracer is more than enough for the CCNA. The network+ I am not so sure though. The Network+ doesnt go very deep when it comes to switch/router configuration. If the network+ is what your going for I suggest using Testout.com
      If you want to get off the helpdesk and your current job is not giving you any opportunities then you may have to get a certification and start applying to some networking jobs. Start with the Network+ and work your way up!
