she used procreate, available on ios and android i think
my problems are always with the marker getting cracked even after doing two layers, and my paintings always from bubbles.
My paint always forms a ton of bubbles! I thought the problem was cheap paint, but she uses it as well so I'm not sure? Sorry :(
@@mimied i think i might know. my bubbles always mostly form withthe color white. i didn't know why but i think its becuase its matte. i don't know but my black never has bubbles and its black

You sketch it?
@@josevigil6731 it has to be flipped so when you flip it back the right way it looks normal. if you sketch it, try to have the picture already inverted or just invert it after you sketch it

Lyka, can you give us tips on how to scrape off the painting and redo it? Do we just wash it off, alcohol, scraping with smth metallic?
Hello Rania, I believe I mentioned it in this vid, but x-acto works! :) It works specially well with precised clean ups since you could slice through the DRIED paint & fix it. Toothpicks work alright too ☺️

an extra tip: don’t use water-based paint markers because layering the paint over them WILL cause the lines to break apart

Thank you! & for THAT I'm glad someone pointed it out! 😭 No important reason really, I just started with the marker & basically got impatient of it so I finished it with the paint Loool! 😂🙌🏼
Although if I may just add, it doesn't really affect the final piece much but I would def recommend just sticking to one technique! 😌

Can I ask how you keep them after painting? Like where do you put them to make sure the paint doesn't get ruined?
I just started doing it after this video was posted but I give them extra protection now using mod podge. As for displaying, I do give my customers free glass stands they could use :)

Can i use normal permanent marker? I'm from Brazil and sharpie's markers aren't really a thing, so i'm trying to adapt some things so they'll work better for me

Ateeeeee when selling glass paintings is there a seal at the back of the paint? Like a solvent? And is it required??
This is all from personal experience but a seal is not required. But it can prevent the paint from chipping since it’s a layer of glue. I would use mode podge or jut schoolglue if I’m lazy haha, hope this helped!

Hero_ Oreo yeah as long as it’s a type of glue. Don’t go too crazy like adding gorilla glue or super glue haha. I tried it with school glue and modge podge. Both works pretty well, I can say both equally protect it

Aaaa I love your videos and your art, you're so good!! Today I'm starting my first painting on proper glass, I hope it will turn out good!! I'm a lil scared because for example I don't have a pen paint (I live in Italy and i couldn't find it) but a marker so i will paint a lot of layers eheheeh

@@bacalalyka hiiii girl sorry but I've just seen the reply!! Actually I'm having a little trouble cause the color often smudges, especially in the eyes, the outliner was well dried and then I put on a thiccccc amount of paint and everything was fine, but after a couple of days it started smudging a lot :(( so I scratched it off and did it again I hope it won't smudge this time! Thank you for the kind reply
Hi! I just wanted to ask if I'd need to seal the paint?? Is it fine to use mod podge or acrylic outdoor sealer if ever?? I'm scared that I might scrape smth off since I'd be displaying it😭
I just started doing it after this video but I do use Mod Podge now and it works perfectly fine! 😁🙌🏼

what if you have to paint the color of the eyes? would you wait for that to dry and then paint the white over it and THEN paint the skin tone over it if you know what i mean?
Yup, that's the most ideal sequence, starting with the small details first! ☺️
Can we use nail remover replace the rubbing alcohol?
Yup! I use that too sometimes, just be careful on using it with plexiglass, I heard it might not work nicely 🙌🏼

I make the sizes on Photoshop and just print them regularly on macbook :)
What's a god substitute for paint pens
You are free to use a normal marker BUT you need to make sure you coat it with paint after! I got some more tips on my other video (the one with Saitama on thumbnail) 🙌🏼
I wanted to know what ink do you use?
Can i use oil color ?
I'm actually not very familiar with the medium, however, correct me if I'm wrong but oil paints are slower to dry (plus they're more expensive) so I believe it'll just make the process more longer & costly 🤔

Both! I use Extra Fine Point Sharpie Paint Pen (whew that was long loool!) for the edges of the letters and then I colour the inside using paint :)

I just painted and all my outlines are smudge in the inner layer (like inside the skin layer) so i had to scrape literally everything 🥲, is it okey if I paint on the opposite side of the outline side so it will not get smudge?
um for the outline of the highlights and eyes do you erase them before painting them ?
