- We caught up with noted cannabis breeder and Ganjier instructor Kevin Jodrey during a recent live training session at the Ganjier Wilderness Campus in the Humboldt Highlands, where he gave a quick overview about his recent sojourn to Central America and Jamaica, bringing legacy New York breeders and island cultivators together to explore and sample classic varieties and genetics grown in a unique equatorial environment.
More to come soon... stay tuned.

Low on the audio, monospeaker phone people might complain 🤙
I listen on a Chromebook and audio is also low...wicked cool to listen to though...just a struggle to hear.

Exactly I'm all ears
Picturing myself, joint in hand chilling across from Kevin. That would be dope af
Facts bro
Kevin cares more about the history and lineage of cannabis than anyone man, their will be a shrine of him one day
Debatable.. you never met Frenchy I take it.
I have never seen Kevin rage like cannoli. Lost count how many times Frenchy used to get so passionate about a subject he would turn red, blow steam. Haha.
Ohhhh... he will be surly missed.
🤣
Kevin is a "Real One".

Good to hear you had a good trip.
From what I have seen of Jamaica cannabis..I'll pass. That's awesome to hear that someone knows what they are doing there in Jamaica.
All I seen was them growing in old tires, leafy un-cured/un-manicured stringy stretched flowers.
Everyone there also seems to just want to smoke mass rather than quality.
Many just walk around with plastic bags full of plant material in my opinion.(some buds, mostly fan leaf wraped buds)
Da highest of da highest of da highest as they put it... is rare.
Sounded like ocho asking if you needed water! Man i cant wait to be there hopefully soon!
I need to go into my 98sssh x dragonsblood from Bohdi..... I want that wild ride 🙌 ✌️💚🌱
I want to understand how equatorial strains decide to flower. They get around 12 hours of light a day all year, so how do they know when to bud? And how would you grow those strains indoors or outdoors farther north?
I used to live in Central America and a lot of plants and trees reproduce according to whether it's wet or dry season. If that's the case with cannabis does it flower in the wet or dry time of year? I knew some people who grew down there but I didn't at the time and their product wasn't very good, wasn't mature and wasn't dried or cured right. So i never asked many questions down there.
It has to do with the elliptical orbit and slight variations of far-red light...
age of the plant really since the days dont vary too much , but they are well aware of seasons ..
@@LawrenceHolcomb-jd7ej ok so how does one grow equatorial strains farther north or in a tent?
@@comfortablynumb9342 The farther north you get, the more difficult it is. Some Hazes need 120-160 days. Even strains developed in Humbolt won't do as well in Washington State. Strains developed under metal halide won't do as well under LED. They will all grow, they'll all flower. Like wally duck says they are well aware...
Congratulations Kevin, I love all of your contents it's always true science and really instructive, a reference.
I don't know if it is normal but the master sound of the movie was recorded too low, no problem with a sound amplifier but on mobile devices it stay too low I think. Thanks a lot, I will follow with passion Ganjier.
Sincerely have a good day.
Fuuuuck dudeeee you actually know your shit so well you made reference to the Mullum madness
Good to hear
👍👍👍
Bro we need that footage from Charles farm. Homie is a real og out here!! One love
Spanish town is some hot asphalt.
Was the plant's really that outstanding...??
totally. Spanish town farm location is driest in the Caribbean so the ability to trial and breed there was amazing.
thanks for taking the time to watch the video and comment.
