In the first part: -The animation of Pokémon coming closer when you give an item is to indicate their friendship level -The event summary before you start can be skipped by pressing B once.
When I was a kid the gen 3 games were the ones I swore I would finally complete a pokedex with, but 11 year old me couldn't figure out the wierd cross game trade mechanics and I never got it done.
Best Pokemon games? I'd say it absolutely isn't out of the argument. But best game on the GBA is a tough bar to reach in general. The Mega Man Zero games, The 2 Kirby games, 2 Metroid games, the Super Mario Bros 3 port really make the title much harder to judge but depending on tastes the argument could be made...
These games weren't very good as remakes but I have a personal love for them as they were how I was re-introduced to the series. Getting older; I've come to appreciate how almost impossibly hard it was to well, ACTUALLY catch them all in Gen 3
It's planned to happen on day for absolute sure It's one of those generations i've very excited to speak on despite the fact it'll be a while, those games especially just have so much to talk good about :) Current planned order for videos is Gen 3 -> Gen 2 -> Gen 7 -> Gen 6, with the Pokemon Rumble series spread throughout. It's all in time.
So my only critique of this critique, and a few others on this channel is the repeated dissing of the gen-1&2 EV systems. You are of course allowed your own personal preferences, but calling the post gen-3 system "proper" is not at all objective. For me, however, when I first found out about the new system while half-way through my original playthrough of Ruby it made me nearly want to quit the franchise altogether, and even to this day makes it harder for me to stay invested in the newer games. Planning out EV spreads to optimize each Pokémon on my team stresses me out, and having to look up a separate out of game chart to make sure I'm battling the right Pokémon while keeping tabs on how many of each I've fought only makes it more of a tedious chore. The only exception to this has been gen-6, where thanks to super training I could fully EV train my Pokémon before ever sending them out in a single battle. Losing that feature in gen-7 killed my interest in those games hard.

FR/LG were good games but the very limited main game Pokedex & the lack of trading were major pains especially if u wanted to replay the game

I personally think FRLG is the best GBA Pokémon game, heck I'd even say it's the best game on the GBA.

Good to see some love for Sword and Shield and B/W

They are the best remakes.
Do you plan on talking about gen 7 games?

@@ReferenceGetter he'll ya man, I swear on my life and soul that those games are WAY too overhated for no reason like gen 5 lol
