Biggest thing I found with mine is momentum. It takes some getting used to but it's like a real bike. Have to keep the speed just right and power out of the corners. Love mine.
I put a few layers of packing tape on my rear fender. The front brakes need to be taken apart and cleaned often, also make sure the rotary piston move smoothly.

On loose or soft dirt I found the key was simply keeping moving, On sand as you have shown it's tough to keep it moving. I ran mine on hard dirt with some loose gravel. Overall I found to be flat out amazing!

Thats some of the best driving I've seen on one of these. Losi did a good job making this easy to drive but i think its a bit of a learning curve to be really good with it. Losi put themselves in a wierd spot releasing this then the baja rey v2 just shortly after. I guess it was smart to release the bike first cause the baja rey will definitly sell in the long run.
I changed out the plastics On mine to orange and got a new black jersey. I’ve started riding a motorcycle to save on gas. The Nanny state never fails to disappoint. I font even know what Hoops I need to jump to go fly my new park flyer
Been watching your stuff since SBR2.0 came out. That was the last RC I bought. I've been trying to make due with what I got, but I may have to go for this. I love scale, realism, and a skill ceiling. This seems to have it all.
There is one more thing you should check. Before riding the bike. The rubber thing on the exhaust pipe. It keeps coming off when crashing the bike. Another RUclipsr noticed it first. He glued the rubber thing to the exhaust pipe. Mine just popped off as well. I have to glue it as well. Another issue I found. The range on the stock transmitter is not that great. I was losing range around 100 or so feet. Not great at all. I wish I could use my RadiLink radio. I would give me all the range I need.
I feel Losi will be releasing a version 2 of this bike as it was so popular and once real world testing done some of the issues will be fixed then 🤷🏻♂️just a guess 😯

Maybe Rc Guy will 3D print a helmet cover , elbow pads . It jumps so smooth & recovers from front flips pretty easy ! Glad you found the exhaust tip . I've seen a few going 3s and they fly ! Crazy how they want us to go green but turn around and implement crazy laws !

I think the suspension especially the rear is too slow it bounces too much in the dirt I am hoping you will explore this I dont know enough about dialing in shocks with different oils to get it stay planted more in the dirt.

Waiting for delivery of mine. You bring up some practical precautions. I'm thinking perhaps the bottom corners on a small square or rectangular plastic container could be cut/shaped and Shoe-Gooed to the rider's elbows similar to the plastic arm guards humans who race motorcycles use. Similar could be done to protect the back of the rider's jersey. Shoe-Goo the boots to the pegs and fugetabout the helmet.
I’m sure something can be made to work with magnets there no room to add them on the sides but in the hole of the foot could work somehow I just don’t have the means to make something right now 🤷🏻♂️

I am very interested in the upgrade possibilities and if the aftermarket community gets behind it.

His first run was probably the best run i have watched out of all the Promoto videos though.
I totally disagree with creating more rules and laws to limit our freedoms. Let the kids ride the damn e bikes who freakin cares. Our power companies cannot make enough power to charge any more electric cars than what we already have. We can’t go full electric when the power doesn’t exist to charge them. Electric cars are a joke. It’s a huge environmental disaster to dispose of lithium batteries and in order to mine the lithium necessary to make them they use diesel vehicles that produce 100x more emissions than a combustion engine in a car. Not to mention the diesel it takes to deliver and transport all these batteries to consumers. The whole thing is a fraud. I can’t tell if your pro e bike license or not. I’ve seen a lot of videos of kids riding e bikes to school with total disregard for any traffic law. Running stop lights, stop signs etc. I don’t see how a license would help any of that. Other then giving the cops power to impound bikes for reckless riding. Even in my area, azzzz hats are riding on walking trails well over safe speeds near people.

I will never buy anything from Losi again. They simply stop selling spare parts (even of vehicles that they still sell new today) and they leave you with a 550$ useless vehicle. That's no way to treat customers.

Cut some shrink tube and put it around the elbows
I tried with the big tapper from the upper to the lower part and the big bend it didn’t fit good at all

I was in the same mind set and didn’t want to believe this was a good rc but after months of use I must disagree now 🤷🏻♂️I was hopeful it wasn’t a good bike as non have been but I was wrong 💯
I will never buy anything from Losi again. They simply stop selling spare parts (even of vehicles that they still sell new today) and they leave you with a 550$ useless vehicle.
