I think along with the lie of "the GOP wants to keep you in chains. we are the only one that can help you."(which they only say every 4 years) MSNBC and CNN pushes down on of the black person throat has made them overall believe it. There is an awesome neal boortz call(that has now become iconic in the era of AM talk shows) that he took call of a black woman name Tiffany. in the call she said, I was part of "being on the plantation." than one day I decide to listen to you and I realized I'm being suppressed by democrats." than she breaks down and starts crying because she wants to get out but doesn't know how.

There's always extremism in both parties. The man who said he wants "Segregation now, today, and forever" was a Democrat. The president who outlawed Jim Crow was also a Democrat. There are Black senators, members of congress, governors, mayors, a former president of the USA, a vice president, military, institutional, judges, district attorneys, corporate and smaller business leaders and owners with money, power and influence. If the USA practiced systematic racism, then the Black population would be far less in number and they would have far less power, positions, visibility and voice. People believe in terms like systematic racism because their “heroes” and propagandists dictate to them how to interpret their experiences and feelings. The propagandists want everyone to believe that all Blacks are poor and all Whites are rich. There are poor, working-class, middle-class, upper-middle class and rich Blacks and Whites. Yes, the proportion of poor Black Americans is higher than that of poor Whites, but that difference is shrinking, and it was especially improving under the last administration. Moreover, conservatives help the poor by creating jobs, building companies, improving the economy, fighting crime, role-modeling the value of hard work, focusing on law and order, keeping the dollar higher than a socialist ever could, respecting the police and veterans, and keeping the borders closed or at least secure.

Heard CTG on Rush years ago, and he has matured alot. Much less angry. Don't agree with most of what he believes, but he seems to be softening his stance, willing to listen and at least think about how others see things, which to me is a big step.

Dude, look where you are! There are soooo many successful black people today than there ever was! You & I came from families that didn't offer us much, but you are where you are and I'm a struggling widow of 2. I don't want sympathy from anyone, I want to overcome that thing in me that has held me back from reaching for everything. The thing you have that I don't! It's not our skin color, it's mostly who we are & how we are raised. I grew up hearing, "If I can't have something nice, you can't have something nice." My mom would tell me I would never amount to anything if I didn't learn how to type. She was mad at me bc I didn't want to take typing class - and she let me know it. I never heard from them, "What do you want to be? What are you interested in?" I didn't look for anything I'd b interested in doing until after my kids were born & you know raising them and dealing with an abusive husband put things off awhile, buy now I'm 53 and now is my turn! But I have to find it, nobody is going to hand it to me. Just like you got yourself where you are, and it's awesome & amazing! Be proud of that. I reject these highly pessimistic views of race relations in our country today. It's all come down to Dems vs Republicans, and "all Republicans are white supremacists -- that's horseshit. We are more than just those in govt....my god I think people don't really think about people in other bubbles anymore. Our bubble is bigger, and we are struggling under Joe Biden. Forget our colors, we are all broke and broken!

However it’s entirely another thing to endure brutal treatment for never mind slavery but into the early to mid twentieth century and then being expected to just “forget about it”. Forgoing or being naive about history you’re deemed to repeat it. Slavery was from August 1619 - July 1860, “The Nadir of American race relations” 1887-1923, KKK 1866-1964. The 63 bombing of 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, killing four little girls. In 64 The Mississippi chapter of the Ku Klux Klan firebombs 20 predominantly Black churches, and then (with the aid of local police) murders civil rights activists James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner. So let’s first acknowledge history and maybe then we can “move forward”.

Who exactly is supposed to acknowledge it for this to be satisfied? So many people in our country have already acknowledged. There’s been systemic racism, but just don’t believe it still exists. So what point do we all acknowledge it? When does that happen? Is it if the president says so? Is it it if the head each government agency says so? When when is it?

He wants to say dei is necessary because of ‘systemic racism’ but he ignored the major cities that have the largest black communities are one party rule by Densr for generations. He wants to be mad people no longer supporter dei because it is racist but have not complained about school systems not prioritizing reading, writing, math and civics over confusing kids about sex, to make their graduating students more competitive in college and in the workplace should not be taken seriously.
