You vote to keep your basic rights! You vote for equal access to interviews, Healthcare, legal rights, housing rights, etc. Things my grandparents didn't have. Know your history, together we need to maintain what we have.Because if we don't it will be taken from us. I love my people but grow up! Get training in a trade, Get a union job, get a college education, go to the military, prepare for adulthood! Don't expect voting by itself to improve your financial situation in life

Black owned entrepreneurship was up 50%.
The average median household income rose by $5000.
His Opportunity Zones program (part of the Jobs and Tax Act of 2017) saw over $100 billion dumped in to poor, mostly minority, communities, spurring job growth and that upward mobility you mentioned.
So, yes, under Trump they did get that.

Right now we have record low unemployment with black business ownerships at an all time high. The median boomer household income is going down while the median millennial household income has risen by an average of $7,000 year over year for the last two years. His chips act along with the bipartisan infrastructure bill has spurred the upward mobility and job growth of gen z and millennials.
While corporations used Trump for their benefit at the start of Covid and raised all their prices dramatically, Biden has been fighting hard to keep consumer prices curbed
@andrewgarai4000 The issue with median income during Biden is that cost of living grew much faster than the median income. In my area, rental prices increased by 600 a month, and real estate nearly doubled, then cost of groceries going up as well.

His opportunity zone's program saw investors buying up cheap property in poor areas, gentrifying it, and pushing minorities out of the areas. That $100 billion wasn't "poured into minority communities." It was used to take communities away from minorities and move in white people. Minorities didn't see any of that money.
The only thing that you're right about was the median household income. Which was a continuation of Obama era economics. His presidency didn't see that steady rise change at all. At the end of his presidency, it dropped globally due to covid. It dropped more in the US compared to other western nations thanks to Trumps handling of covid. It'll take time to recover from that, just like inflation.
So it's better under Biden in all the things you mentioned, bar one, which was thanks to trump anyway.

The economy is way better under Biden than Trump during his presidency. Biden steadied the dire economy he inherited from Trump and has grown the economy over the the past 3 years
The economy is strong, and a predicted recession was avoided. GDP 5.2% and was higher than predicted all year, inflation is trending downward, wages growth outpaced inflation in 2023, 14.5 million jobs created since the beginning of 2021, the unemployment rate has been very low (below 4% for 23 months straight - almost 2 years), the stock market is currently at a all time high. Because of all this, the federal reserve is expected to cut interest rates in 2024.
For the now people, mind explaining how it's better? Different walks of life I assume, but I'm still interested in the conversation

The unemployment rate is so low bc it's so bad everyone had to get 2 job stay at home moms couldn't stay home to take care of their kids they had to get a job not just my mother but people retired collecting a pension had to go get a job Biden destroyed everything in less then 3 years that the truth that where 14 million job came from. Providing better education for a start. Given the links between nutrition and academic achievement, then helping to feed students from poorer backgrounds at school can do a lot. There are lots of ways, but how much of this is on the president rather than congress and state legislatures is maybe a better question

I can’t say how black people did financially with Democratic Presidents but as a white person me and my wife always did better financially… starting with Clinton under a Democratic president. When trump came into office that was the first year we ever had to pay the government after doing our taxes. Those days of getting a tax return check were gone under trump. Also our tax return got smaller during the Bush years but at least we didn’t have to pay anything extra. I guess when you give the millionaires and billionaires a huge tax break the money has to come from somewhere else.

The long fight the conservatives fought to keep a working safety net out of the US of A has done wonders in pushing everyone in the bottom 20% into hopelessness and desperation, no matter what their skin color is.

I work with black people who tell me that they got lazy family members who do nothing but look for the government for a free handout. I personally experienced this on 2016..one young man insisted Hillary & Trump were no different and refused to vote even though he voted for Obama twice..then I spoke with others who were determined to vote 3rd party.
