I've noticed that it becomes a bit reluctant to connect to my phone if it's already connected to my MacBook. 90% of the time I use the Excited EQ, and for less bassy tracks (like metal), I switch to Bright. Bright gives the feeling of a much larger sound stage. If you have these, try listening with Bright EQ and transparency turned on. Feels like the music is played out live in front of you.
Bose, close to creators' intent, less processing. Sony, if you need it to be more vibrant, more processed. Apple, better connectivity to apple devices, spatial audio.

One thing I want to convey about the heat issues you mentioned, like the on-ear experience, is an update for it as if you use it for the first few days. The heating was there for me too, but after a week it was more comfortable and not giving any issues ..!! Was so close to getting one. But went for the Bose QC ultra because the xm5 looks and feels cheap and flimsy compared to how robust the QC ultra feels largely due to the metal construction and it can fold and collapse into a smaller footprint.
@@jinto816 boils down to preference and fit, they sony xm5s didn't fit right for me and that's why I paid the 5k premium bose charges for it's qc ultra. I've compared both in terms of noise cancellation and the bose just filters out sounds a tad bit better than the sony. App is very minimalistic on the bose thus the experience doesn't feel sophisticated and the sony's app can feel overwhelming with the amount of controls and options you can tweak. I prefer a more simpler ui and the sony app looks very jagged and unfinished so again i gave my points to bose.

To be frank when it comes to audio it's not that great but features like touch and noise cancellation are really good By default it has a dull sound.. you can tweak it with equaliser. Im using it for past 1 year. To be frank when it comes to audio it's not that great but features like touch and noise cancellation are really good By default it has a dull sound.. you can tweak it with equaliser. I also purchased a pair of earbuds from anker for just RS.1500 and to be frank I like it's sound more than XM5 which costs 30k. For music lovers and audiophile I recommend seinheiser or audio tchnik
You should have fiio DAC or dap to extract the juice from this.

Bose കുറച്ച് സമയം ഉപയോഗികമ്പോ ചെവി വേദനിക്കും sony ക്ക് ആ പ്രശനം ഇല്ല. സോണിയുടെ പല ഫീച്ചൻ bose കോപ്പി അടിച്ചത് ആണ്.
