Hey feature some other creators like you did with Molt. Who's gonna be in this week's snap chat? That hype and one more new perspective is always fun....
Its such a small thing, but Alex calling Mobius "Triple M" and saying its like Triple H from wrestling is both what I was doing and hilarious. Another great episode!
I always appreciate your honest, straightforward critiques. Sensationalism can be exciting, but without realistic analyses we don't learn. You guys give us information that helps improve our games. I will never be a top-tier player, but I'm having fun playing!
About missions: Like 2 weeks ago, one of the weekend missions was to win with Devil Dino in your deck. I simply slipped Devil Dino into my Discard deck (I don't care, im gonna discard cards that I won't be playing anyway). Won 83% of the games I played with Devil Dino in my deck, and I ONLY used him that weekend. Just make it work and it pays off.
I like Silver Samurai but hes definitely not needed for the decks he fits best into atm but i agree that as more card's come out he has the potential to pop off.
I am happy to see you guys talking about Pool 3 cards and how important they are. I feel the community overall really under estimates just how many valuable cards are in Pool 3. The spotlight system encourages this to an extent, but the reason I comment here is I started during Hit Monkey season. At that time just prior to the changes it often felt like you always had to choose between a good card, or the newer card that may not always be a dub. For example, I remember choosing to buy Darkhawk and Zabu during move season, because I guessed Spiderman 2099 was going to be awful. I didnt feel bad at all about it, but it did feel like the game was at odds with itself there. The new Pool 3 shop option, allowed me to effectively try to get all these staples while using my spotlights on newer cards.
I said it before and I stand by it: Silver Samrai will be the long term best card from this season. played the card a ton and as long as mobius isn't there, there are some nutterbutter decks with him
@AlexanderCoccia my friend, you have no idea who I am, but I started Marvel Snap on June 3rd... I have only half the cards and my level is 2130, but I managed to get an infinity conquest today, many thanks to you for putting out amanzing videos with Cozy. I got lucky to get High Evo and managed to win with a not so good deck overall (no She Hulk, no Jeff, no Hazmat...) I came here to say thank you!
The nerfed Doom was more in line with the sort of number balancing I would prefer in terms of card design, but it admittedly isn't on-par with the new Forge-Absorbing Man meta that's taken over. As long as they're balancing around a common standard as opposed to raising the standard with new card releases, I'm generally happy with the changes.
These 2 guys have quickly become my favorite Marvel Snap guys, they're both really kind and they're always trying to help new and old players so that everyone can enjoy the game. I recently purchased something with real money for the first time and I can say I'm completely obsessed with this game, it's just so good, even though it's very annoying at times.
I’m a relatively new player - a long break - and just made it to Pool 3. Could you guys make a deck building guide? As in, when making your own deck what cards should you look for? How to assess energy curve?
With regards to the hype for the Big In Japan season honestly what hyped me up the most was the marketing. Giant robots and kaiju, I’m a sucker for those things so I hope that the mech variants from the spotlight caches become available by some other means.
Hey feature some other creators like you did with Molt. Who's gonna be in this week's snap chat? That hype and one more new perspective is always fun....
I actually like to buck the conventional wisdom a bit and keep a fair number of active cards (not many, maybe 10-20) at common. Specifically for the daily missions that involve upgrading cards. Also it's nice having a little extra reach in reserve when I'm low on credits but achingly close to that next spotlight cache.
I'd love to see yall do a complete s3 tier list, I know there have been some in the past but with pretty much nonexistent series drops it'd be fascinating to see
Great lists guys! Solid cards. I like this one better than the 6 cost cards list. One great and overlooked Series 3 card that I think is a fantastic pickup for a player starting Series 3 is Coulson. Coulson has seen a lot of top level play in the past three months and is just a solid 3 to slam on turn 3 in any match up and works as a solid filler or back up 3. He works great with Dino and with the season pass card Loki, as well as Collector. I would rate Coulson higher than some cards like Mystique or Magneto.
Every monday night its a delight with you and cozy, enjoying this so much before going to sleep, hope for more upgrades for PC since its kinda the same but wide, i finally reach infinite in last day, and happy to improve looking at you guys, keep it up il stick with you and cozy on all vids.
I've been pretty lucky with my series 3 caches so far, I only started playing the game in late June so started getting series 3 cards in July, got Venom, Death, Sera, Electro and a few others from that top 10 list all real quick in the caches and Doctor Doom and Mystique as the respective "free" series 3 cards of each month. Think it'll be Silver Surfer or Patriot in September unless I get one of them in a cache before they show up, Surfer has some cool variants releasing in September so if I can get him before they release that might tip him over the edge for me. One thing that feels a bit bad is if you get the season passes, you get series 3 variants, which is good, cause you get to use them. It just then makes pulling them from a cache a bit of a downer cause then it's another few days til you see another new card. I've got Miles and Magneto waiting for me in my remaining series 3 drops somewhere even though I "have" them. Also makes this weeks spotlight cache a bit of a gamble, I would love Jeff and Knull, I really don't want a Ghost Spider variant.
easily my favorite snap channel/duo and quickly becoming my favorite creators in all of youtube. thank you alex and cozy for making these every week, it’s apart of my weekly routine to throw these on while i clean my apartment/work on a couple of things. love the humor and back and forth y’all mix in between great discussions and amazing combos and theory crafting. keep up the great work y’all !🫶
Once you get later on in the game, maybe you'll do what I do. I'm hoarding Common Cards for now. I'm upgrading cards, but hoarding the commons until I see a season where I just have to have more spotlight cache. I'm up to 223 Common Cards, and building. BUT, I'm pushing 9000 CL at this point.
Remember Triple H? He runs the WWE now. Maybe Triple M will run Marvel Snap when his time comes. I really wish I had some of those new player tips when I was getting started. I might actually have Venom by now if I hadn't wasted so many credits on the fast upgrades.
So does the using the extra boosters and stuff when it comes to upgrading characters, is that a tip for just all marvel snap fans since it seems like you use more boosters when you can just hoard the boosters like you said and upgrade them normally)
Dude I just want them to do one thing for me just one. Add an option to sort cards by level so I don’t have to look for the common or infinity cards manually, and maybe make a little enhancement to the collection like making it easier to scroll through. Maybe like a tab on the right or left side to get from top to bottom faster that’s all I want I don’t even want new cards I want collection enhancement.
You say the fast upgrades are pointless but i literally never get the boosters i need. I have hundred of lady death boosters and yet for some reason i still get boosters for that instead of x23 or daken which i have no splits and no boosters for
I'll say on the fast upgrade talk, y'all are talking from and with people who play the game a huge amount. I usually only play for about 20-30 minutes a day, rarely more, so I am constantly credit capped, it makes sense for someone like me to use fast upgrades otherwise I would lose the credits from missions. It's better to get less value than no value from them. I usually get harassed when I say stuff like this, people saying "just play more" but I play the amount I feel like and don't want to grind and burn out on the game like I have with others in the past. Idk, just another perspective.
Do y'all think mobius will completely destroy the sera control decks? Because I was tempted by getting hit monkey in the spotlight caches but I don't know anymore
Just run enchantress on that deck. But hit monkey really fell after the nerf Edit: And they talked about Wave being played a lot on turn 5 this season, that will mess with hit monkey
I think my list goes ... #4 Daken, #3 Lady Deathstrike, #2 X-23 #1 Silver Samurai ... thats kind of how i play them, I do not like Daken and barely use him.
I constantly have over 10k credits and can't collect my completed mission credits. If you are saying not to fast upgrade, what can I spend my excess credits on? Cause I have lots of uncollected mission credits right now cause of over 10k credits.
I joined marvel snap in november and i quit after 1 day because i didnt understand the game i returned feburary and i still did not understand so i watched cozy's tier list. I started get the logic of the game but i didnt what pool 1,2,3 is, then i returned in August 2023 because one of my friend's played snap and forced me to have an adventure collecting cards and now half way done in pool 3
That's the beauty of Magneto--you don't need to construct a deck specifically for him. He's just an amazingly good card on his own that can wreck several archetypes with his effect. Now, if you want to maximize his usefulness, I think he works amazingly in Electro/Sandman Ramp. If you can get Sandman out on T4 and follow with Dr. Doom and Magneto on T5 and T6, you're damn-near unbeatable at that point.
Now I am more pissed... I started snap after silver surfer was season pass... I hope with every cage to get serah or the surfer. ... I would have bought him .😢 Before the podcast I thought he is 4/5 from start
Hot take, I like the fast upgrade option. I dont spend the gold but I just like the low load time. If I'm upgrading a card from base to infinite I much prefer hoarding and then hitting upgrade once then boom. As opposed to hitting each upgrade over and over, seeing the effect, then going to the collection level and then repeat like 8 times. Its too repetitive and annoying
Honestly I do feel like x23 was so over hyped by the RUclips community that she can't ever live up to it and one of the reasons why I kinda stopped watching most of snap content creators.
She-Hulk is not a great pool 3 card for most players. It's a little over-rated in my opinion. It does make some sense, considering Infinaut, but new players will have some difficulty figuring out how to maximize that kind of play.

Who's gonna be in this week's snap chat? That hype and one more new perspective is always fun....
I am always happy when I watch these and cozy shows a variant that I believe is not as good as the one I have. It's a spiritual victory
Then he zooms out and inked the one you thought was better 💀
@@patrickbyrnes6499 It's a short lived victory
Its such a small thing, but Alex calling Mobius "Triple M" and saying its like Triple H from wrestling is both what I was doing and hilarious. Another great episode!

I like Silver Samurai but hes definitely not needed for the decks he fits best into atm but i agree that as more card's come out he has the potential to pop off.
I'm so glad I got X23 and using Cozy's deck I won a lot in conquest, I'm very happy :D

11:41.... COMPLETELY MISSED opportunity to do an Owen Wilson "Wooow"
Caught up on both Snapchat eps while doing yard work this morning. Great episode gents.
To fix 2099 just give him a 1 time use kingpin effect (only for enemy cards)
I said it before and I stand by it: Silver Samrai will be the long term best card from this season. played the card a ton and as long as mobius isn't there, there are some nutterbutter decks with him
Learning about Priority and how to manipulate it was probably the most important thing for me to learn about the game.
Thank you for explaining the Booster mechanics. I always thought boosters were weighted by the card quality vs how many boosters you had.
That Loki introduction video was hilarious. Glad you survived the Volcano!
I'm a new player since hit monkey season, i got Wong for my 1st Pool 3 card. I can't sleep that day because i want to play more wong - odin combo 😆
Congrats on the pull 🎉 Wong is a great combo card.
@@szuwen007 thx man, yeah for newbie wong is a life changing card, that day i immediately bought the season pass 😁and got addicted to snap till now
I’ve been playing since December last year and haven’t gotten wong yet I’m jealous

I really liked Lady Deathstrike thinking on her like a reverse Shang-Chi. I got my first infinity conquest using her on negative deck 🥳
Sera was what got me to infinite for the first time so she'll always have a special place in my heart

35:11 why did cozy call triple h MQ? or what did he say?
I wish snap would make cards go down more instead of creating huge 4 and 5 pools. For instance Howard the duck easy pool 3 card.
I got Patriot early. He was the reason I got infinite three months straight.
easily my favorite snap channel/duo and quickly becoming my favorite creators in all of youtube. thank you alex and cozy for making these every week, it’s apart of my weekly routine to throw these on while i clean my apartment/work on a couple of things. love the humor and back and forth y’all mix in between great discussions and amazing combos and theory crafting. keep up the great work y’all !🫶

I think collectors reserve has changed again. I am getting them less often and only got a single card (venom) from them
Great informative video, but was just wondering how do you your cool variants do you buy them
Sara was my third pool three card. Ngl she was kinda busted for me because it was also during the hit monkey season 😂
So does the using the extra boosters and stuff when it comes to upgrading characters, is that a tip for just all marvel snap fans since it seems like you use more boosters when you can just hoard the boosters like you said and upgrade them normally)
Cant thank you and Cozy enough, you two carry time trough the series, it is a lot of info to absorb, without you guys I’d be swimming.
Dude I just want them to do one thing for me just one. Shoulda made a full on series 3 tier list now with all the new stuff
Surprised Wong wasn't on this list tbh.
Ha, I didn't get venom until 10 cards left in series 3 :(
Me at a mid-3000s CL without some of the good pool 3 cards
Thanks 🙏 Alex’s and cozy for another amazing podcast
Glad you enjoyed it!
Damn that smokey samurai variant is toight
You say the fast upgrades are pointless but i literally never get the boosters i need. I have hundred of lady death boosters and yet for some reason i still get boosters for that instead of x23 or daken which i have no splits and no boosters for
I agree with with both of you... But doctor doom is of course top 3 for me 2. I got beaten so many times 😂

Just run enchantress on that deck. But hit monkey really fell after the nerf
Edit: And they talked about Wave being played a lot on turn 5 this season, that will mess with hit monkey
New player; I started playing the day after x23 was no long available. What I would give to have her 😩
hi can you tell us what decks to make with sera
I can't wait to unlock patriot just so that i can use cyclops and shocker. They have such cool effects
Just wait until you get High Evo
I think my list goes ... #4 Daken, #3 Lady Deathstrike, #2 X-23 #1 Silver Samurai ... thats kind of how i play them, I do not like Daken and barely use him.
I constantly have over 10k credits and can't collect my completed mission credits. If you are saying not to fast upgrade, what can I spend my excess credits on? Cause I have lots of uncollected mission credits right now cause of over 10k credits.

one of my friend's played snap and forced me to have an adventure collecting cards and now half way done in pool 3
I had so much in marvel snap
5:10 this aged terribly 😂
I think if they give us real events and fix the collection rewards and collector's reserves, we'll have the perfect game
Alex C., legend 🎉
What decks is Magneto best in? I love the variant and card just can’t find a meta deck to include him in other than Silk Move maybe
I’m at CL 1760 and still don’t have venom death or knoll 😭😭
The shard costs 1 so it's technically a 4 / 8 and might I ask, how many decks is Jessica Jones slotted in?
it's pronounce "Day Ken" he's Wolverine's son
I FINNALY GOT JEFF.
I think i have that same Zola split
I honestly think Silver Samurai is going to end up being a 3/4 or a 3/5 before everything is said and done.
LIVE TN ON TWITCH BABY! LOKI SEASON!
Now I am more pissed... I started snap after silver surfer was season pass... I hope with every cage to get serah or the surfer. ... I would have bought him .😢
Before the podcast I thought he is 4/5 from start
Lol I was pissed I spent 1000 collector tokens and got patriot but now I see it's actually the top card wtf, and I got ultron already
Can I start a petition to get that Venom cozy has upgraded to a red border? 😂
Anyone else successfully dodge the Spiderman 2099 variant to get their Silver Samurai?
Honestly I do feel like x23 was so over hyped by the RUclips community that she can't ever live up to it and one of the reasons why I kinda stopped watching most of snap content creators.
She-Hulk is not a great pool 3 card for most players. It's a little over-rated in my opinion. It does make some sense, considering Infinaut, but new players will have some difficulty figuring out how to maximize that kind of play.
For sure. Infinaut is not an easy deck to play at all and is pretry vulnerable to counters. A new player will struggle
i got doom as my free series 3 card right now do i get him or wait for sera, i run high evo decks
you guys run out of topics to talk about. seriously there wasnt even a series 3 drop since last time you did an episode on that
3:45 Wish I got the Kitty Pryde season pass 🥲 jk, keep them coming
