Top Tips
12 Hearts
*1A. So happy the latest update made the Well cost Half Hearts so that now there's more energy too.
*1B. Cooked fish gives more money and
5 Hearts of Energy per cooked fish,
so now time is the main limitation.
2. Start Clearing and Prepare for Summer Fest
which is end of July (Month No. 7).

3. Don't buy the Manuals unless you have
a lot of money saved for Summer Fest as it will
upskill your Fishing, Bug Catching
& Photography unless somehow you need it.
More cost effective to upskill normally
at lower levels.
Extra Notes
A. Sleep before 24:00 / 12 midnight
or your character will black out and
only get half your hearts/ energy the next day
B. Buy a Picnic Mat so you can eat
your cooked fish outside of home.
C. Clean the shrine,
Shishiodoshi (Setup the Koi Pond)
& build the *Chicken coop
and you can visit the *village.
D. Start Clearing and Prepare for Summer Fest
which is end of July (Month No. 7).

'Summer Fest Quest' Version [ 5 ] (Some details may still need updating.)
1. Talk to the Kind Woman until you are able to Talk to the Village Head at the map on the right of the Village starting map.)
2. Activate the 'Quest' on the Village Head List. (Might as well activate all quests from the Village Head's list.)
'Summer Festival Quest' Start
Hammer is required for all of them, you can get it from the Shed at the Starting Home.

Repair the red toro (15? Vermilion Lacquer [Store] x $30 = 450 coins & 4 Black Lacquer [Store] x $50 = 200 coins) + 15? x 2 Logs + 15? x 2 Nails
Maybe Total 650 coins to be safe + 30 Nails + 30 Logs

Repair the torii (6? Vermilion Lacquer [Store] x $30 = 180 coins) + 6 x 2 Nails + 6 x 2 Logs
Total 6? Vermilion Lacquer [Store] - 180 coins) + 12 Nails + 12 Logs
\\ Part 3 \\
Clear the fallen tree (2x $300= 600 coins) + Wait 1 Day
\\ Part 4 \\
Make 21 chochins ( 21 Bamboo + $10 x 21 candles [Store] = 210 coins + $20 x 21 Shoji Paper [Old Peddler Lady] = 420 coins) to hang,

From my current view, if someone where to try it in Year 1,
find a way to start building from the start of the game.

21 Chochins [DIY at Home],
6 Grills [Shop - Village] (6x $30 = 180 coins ),
24 Strings [Old Peddler Lady] (24 x 20 coins = 240 coins)
6 Fabric [Old Peddler Lady] (6 x 50 coins = 300 coins)
Extra 24 Bamboo, 24 logs & 18 nails

I've missed it now that I've hit Month 8/ August.
I wasted money on manuals and potentially other unnecessary things.
I won't be restarting because I can wait.
