I love how all the scientist dudes are REALLY enthusiastic with showing you this Invizimals tech. It certainly makes the scenes more than a little entertaining.
Man i love this game soo much.. too bad I sold my psp a couple years ago. I remember playing the game a couple hours before the clock striked 12 at Silvester when I was like 14. what a time man.

Invisamals is pretty awesome & unique.
& having Brian Blessed in it gives it bonus point.
For a kids game it's harsh though, some people will kill your creature if you loose a battle, I cried once when my Lizard girl thing died.
I've even created a battlefield for them lol

It's really fun and when I played it as a kid, I thought it was real
But I hated how I could lose my hard trained monsters forever by simply losing a battle :,(
Brian Blessed made the game even better
WOW this reminds me of 3DS augmented reality, hope that turns out as well as this

This camera tracking stuff is so cool. I've seen some of like this, but this game is so charming. I wonder how does the game decide that you find an invizimal. If you try to find 2 at the same place you will? I know it's easier to track and tell the camera where the surface is with this special card but image processor algorithms can track the scene without it. But I'd love to see a game where you have to hunt ghosts with PSP or iPhone like in Fatal Frame without a card.
Its color of the surface, i didnt place the trap, i just looked around until i got the right color (red, green, blue, yellow, purple) and when it found the invizimal i would look back to the trap where i left it instead of putting it on the surface
my teachers let me play nintendo ds during nearly all my highschool classes...one of my teachers even battled me in pokemon one class! they love it
i wish this was somehow playable on the vita. I've always wanted to try, but never felt like buying a camera that only is utilized by 2 games. the vita has a camera built it! so, sony needs to ressurect this thing.
I have saw tv verson of this on netflix it is quite enjoying but I did not know there was a game
@nomickok2 I am looking forward to playing w/ Augmented Reality, but I meant another full game that uses the same technology....in 3D!
They should take the Monter Rancher rout, and make specific monsters based on specific media. No more popping disks in and out to get them, simply show the camera the media, and FAVOOM! Now if only Digimon could be as cool as this.

I'm now a happy owner of hole Invizimals trilogy on PSP.
These games are great & I have found more time to play them.

Everyone who has PSP should at least try this game. Just remember to get the camera too.
an rts game like this that plays out on any flat surface would be rad
I like this style of rpg, collect fighters, level them up, fight them, etc.
But is there one with a more mature theme?
It doesn't have to be blood and guts - just not full of childish characters.
Is there a racing game like this? You could have racing on a tabletop for instance. I don't think it's really a gimmick, it's innovative as hell
makes me want to try this on every surface .... like keyboard, desk or even the green screen or something, not necessarily to play the game itself
Cant wait to see how 3DS handles ARG,something like this,with a little Nintendo magic in 3D would be cool.
I love the cheesy FMV cut-scenes as well. Wish more games had that these days. Where is our Wing Commander remakes?

Hm, the question is how long the gimmick can veneer the weak gameplay.
But it looks really impresssive to be honest and seems to work really fine. But I didn't play it, so I can't say anything about it ;)

I have this & Invizimals 3. I haven't played them much, but after watching this I should.
It always bugs me that I have HUGE library of these awesome games, but not time to really play them. :(

I remember playing this years ago (like 2 and a half years ago) for some market research.
To all Nintendo DS fanboys, this game proves the PSP does have fun and innovative titles. And this game came out waay before the 3DS and its simple AR games
...wow, the music actually does sound like Akira. :P
i overlooked this game it seems much better if just for the storyliine and real life actors

The game isn't too bad, but I honestly prefer using the camera to playing the game. I got to about where the game floods you with multiple tournaments, and the capturing just stops.
Are you going to review Eye pet for psp? Because I dont know which eyepet version to get if I should get PS3 version or PSP version but PS3 version I need move, which I dont have so I think the PSP version is better but I would like a review.
The most awkward moment in the world would be someone walking down the street with a psp and the camera just to look for monsters

these kind of games can be played on every device with a camera, even a phone or a DSi.

cool im might get it it looks really fun for me cuz i love yust colleckting cool animals but pokemon was to much walking around and to much of an RPG for me while this looks a little more real time

I got this game last Christmas and I recomend it for everyone! Not COD players because this game wopuld be so "kiddie" for them just because they're imature... ;)
