I just realized when BT said he did the math he meant the math for the throw which means he planned the throw from the beginning.
but how come he said, "copy that, pilot." after coop said he wasn't going anywhere and then threw him only when this 3rd protocol rebooted?
@@arkzym I don't know I didn't write the script. Maybe he only threw him after protocol 3 rebooted because before that he did not have it on. maybe he was just calming down jack.
@@user-zj8uc2hl5h idk bro you seems like you mighta wrote the script tbh
@@arkzym nah i cant write shit this good. My shit back in school was just a bunch of essays filled with monologues and ongoing sentences and big words to make it sound like i was writing shit.
@@user-zj8uc2hl5h nahhh this is me now lmao, I'm so bad at writing it's not even funny dude
“Trust me” the words make me cry every time.
And then I cried even more in coopers logbook when he says “I won’t let you down BT. Trust me.”
When they say "gamers have no feelings" I get flashbacks of this.
@MOJAoriginalTeam Fortress 2 ?
Heard it once here. Never again. Someone says trust them, ima go with them. If only to die together.
I cry everytime i hear BT's voice

Step 1: try not to cry
Step 2: cry alot
step 3: cry more
Step 4: Flooded the world

Step 5: Repeat every time you replay the campaign.
For a machine to defy a command that comes before the next is the ultimate act of machine. To defy priority to protect those you care about
That's the beauty of it. BT technically *didn't* defy his orders. He bent them to the interpretation of his will. Good example of this happening is in iRobot. The machines gained a new understanding of the three laws, a different perspective that to us allowed them to "disobey" but to them they are governed by the laws themselves.
BT, a constantly evolving and learning AI, achieved the same. He still is governed by the laws but now he has a wholely human perspective on how to use them to protect his comrade.
As BT says, "Protocol Three: Protect the pilot." Protecting Cooper in the way he did does not supercede upholding the mission as only one sacrifice is needed, BT.
The entire story is deep and complex, like the grandfather paradox in effect and cause causing Jack to get a ark scan which allows militia to track it and destroy it. like bt and jack literally created and sustained a paradox to save harmony. Plus bt learns how to save jack because of his experiences throwing him. Without this bt would never have collided with the ark so jack doesn’t die (protocol 3) and he couldn’t move on his own because of the damage so he needed to know how to throw jack. Someone cooked and then got shit on by apex
How am I supposed to wall run through the tears
when i first played this, I immediately ran after him and died. I told him I wasnt going anywhere…
I feel like people don’t give the music enough credit, the music is like nothing I’ve ever heard, and it sums up the emotion of the scenes perfectly.
You're not alone, dude. Titanfall 2 honestly has one of, if not the most beautiful video game soundtracks I've ever heard.
@@mach7te it really does. Between the story, the missions, the characters, and especially music, I felt like I was playing a movie
8 years and still hits hard i swear
Girls: How did you not cry at Titanic? Do you even have emotions? Have you even cried?
Boys:
What the...
Imma like this one
titanic ending was complete BS, she died and instead of remember all the good times with their family, she was longing for a weekend with some dude. This is why we have movies like blue valentine, sexual love fades.
@@heathcliffhappy2582 dude u are completely right so many normie bs shit, she didn't even miss her mom, i mean i would
Trust me.
BT you were a true soldier *Salute*
“He was truly, one of us...”
O7 a true titan… a true friend
O7
The gut wrenching feeling of knowing exactly what BT's about to do the moment he says "Protocol 3"
It took me a little longer to realize (i might be stupid) but as soon as he got into the fastball position i just went “DONT YOU FKING DARE”
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Lmao
You're actually right.
We are crying
We are all crying
Yep all of us
you are who you choose to be
Oh fuck you, that actually hit me hard.

"Superman."
The thing about this even if you haven't experience the campaign it still hits hard but when you played the campaign it hits even harder
I just replayed this, and just realised, that BT in the last possible moment, restored protocol 3, to save Jack.
Trust me
I've played this game 6 times over and it still gives me goose bumps
It’s enough to make a grown man cry, and that’s alright.
I can just imagine Cooper crying as he parkours through the rest of the level.
I would.
Where gods cried
At 0:45 don't say anything and BT will say "a throw is our only option here" and when he take you out of the cockpit he's not gonna say trust he will say "goodbye jack" try it
No one will forget his sacrifice even in 20 years
I haven't cried this hard since Dom's death in Gears 3 😭
“Protocol 3: protect the pilot, trust me”
no matter how many times you watch it, it never gets easier, nothing will numb that feeling of losing BT
If anyone stayed till the end of the credits like myself, BT actually lights up Cooper's helmet in a certain morse code, telling us that he is still there, as in an earlier part of the game, he put part of him in Cooper's helmet anyway, so in theory, he didn't die.
he said ''jack''
Doesn't matter because Jack says tech is going to wipe his neuralink with BT.
@@rock3793 more like it doesn't matter because Titanfall 3 never.
@@Kozmokast respawn has a titanfall 3 in the wors its just been put on hold because of apex legends
@@Kozmokast Well it hasn’t been officially discontinued so there is hope. Unlike the Deus Ex Franchise. Which was cancelled for avengers.

OH GOSH...
I cry all the time at this cenamatic
Women: he dint even cry during the titanic! Do men even have feelings?
Men:
I've never played this game, but I felt the feels. I love that they forshadowed this scene earlier which made it all that more emotional
The game was good,
Had good story as well.
If you look at the protocols as they load in, Upholding the mission and up linking to the pilot are white, but when BT gets to protocol 3, it's bright yellow. BT was prioritising your life over the mission.
as soon as he exploded that thing on the bottom right looks like bt eye
phoenix 123453 I see it
He might be alive, or was that scrap metal? Hope not.
"how are we going to get out of this one BT"
"calculating...protocol 3, protect the pilot"
Trust me. I have done the math.
am I the only one who cried?
Almost cried,almost.
Nope. We all did.
Nope. You are not alone in that.
You aren't alone along with the entire community
Protocol 4:yeet the pilot
shit, i played las year on 2020, still make me cry.
The moment i heard protocol 3 i smashed my controller 😭
You stay. I go. No following.
i got this game when i was like 10 and i cried when bt sacrificed himself
I’m crying over a fucking robot
Gone but not forgotten, even today.
This scene stil makes me crying
Rip BT-7274
I am a grown ass man. I also cried like a bitch over a fictitious Artificial Intelligence. I am not ashamed.
“Protocol 3, protect the pilot. Trust me.”

I swear something just got in my eye
coming back here after i watched movie Atlas. The scene where A.I Smith sacrice to save her pilot kinda reminds mo of BT did to his pilot.
"Trust me." We all trust you, bud.. We all do..
Trust me😭😭😭
“I won’t let you down BT. Trust me.”
“why’d you have trust issues…?”
“trust me”-BT 7274😢
it still hurts to this day

I still stand and salute anytime I see this video! And no.... I don't shed a tear..(cries like a baby)

When some one says trust me I just think of this scene
BT rightfully earned his place in the robot section of The Hall of Fame
i was nearly crying 😭
I teard up after playing the seeing this my self
Saddest moment in gaming history
I haven't even played this game and I'm blown away by this scene.
Only 2 times in video games that it actually made me Gears of War3 with Dom’s death and Titanfall 2 with BT
BT Died :( 0:58
The music is Marty O'Donnel level of quality.
When bt threw me I heard him say goodbye Jack.i said goodbye bt
Alien 1: they didn't even cry during the implosion of andrex-465!
Alien 2: I know, right? do humans even have feeling?
What humans cry at:
A pilot is not a pilot without a titan,a titan is not a titan without a pilot
Protocol 3: Protect the Pilot
dont worry bt i wont let you down.....
Trust me....
It's the Iron Giant all over again.
Literal chills in this part, I’m on my 10th play through and on my 9th it still gave me chills knowing the cause he died for
I beat the game five times and yet I still miss the big guy
Goddammit it makes me cry every time.
The way cooper just yells "BT!!!" hits me hard
BT-7274. As a a veteran tf2 player who’s beaten the campaign hundreds of times……this. This hits hard.
"It's just a game bro."

It's so similar to Smith and Altas damn
BT NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried not to cry
I almost cried my eyes out at this part
If you look at the bottom of the screen right after the ark explodes you can see a data core sized object fly off. BT-7274 is alive
Just so yall know it says uplinking protocol, meaning he is uploading himself to jacks helmet. He even said he did the math. Im hopeful that this is the case and its not the end of our friend bt.
Damn bt always good friends forever but he actually survive plus he still alive
The amount of attachment to that robot god now I'm crying anyway I require titanfall 3 return of bt
DON'T WORRY RESOLUTE I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE COPY THAT

Shit its awfully dusty in my room.
Its enough to make a grown man cry
Oh, BT....
Still the only saddest moment in any game I've played... thought about it again after watching the movie Atlas, apparently the director was influenced by the titanfall games 🤙🤙
