Until now Genshin Impact still creates amazing bgm on character trailers.
Well in my opinion Genshin soundtrack is tied in the first place with the Destiny games music (wich is compised by the same people that compised music for older Halo games)
And until now as well
Zhongli - Rex Incognito is So freaking good..

The main theme when you enter the game also changes depends on the time when you online (morning/evening/night)

One of the thing to point out about is each character trailer musics always have a small part of Genshin main theme in it, with each have a different variation. This help the characters, in some way, connect to the Genshin world.

I wish more people checked out this game's OST but so many people simply push it off as a BOTW clone ignoring the good and effort they put through this game.

@@kingalex105x7 I believe it only sparked off controversies at the beginning, but now it’s calmed down a lot after people debunked the lies just by trying it simply. Several doesn’t means many though.

Azhdaha Boss theme is at the top of my list... after that Dragonspine BGMs
then came signora's them, then Raidens demo and raidens battle ost... then we have enkanomiya..... not saying one is best from the other, but man....
Cool video. You should do a part 2 where you do more of a theory analysis.
Like for example, the 4th bass note in Dvalin's theme is only a semitone up from the 3rd note....it sounds like it's out of the key, but it works so well :)

i've been playing this game for abput 3 weeks, every single day. The music keeps amazing me, it is really a well done OST
now we need more genshin music analysis since. inazuma and sumeru has already come out now and these new regions brought so much more variety to the music.
I played GI because of the handsome male characters but I stayed because of the music. It's incredible. I can simply let my character stay on top of Liyue's mountains and listen to the OST for hours. Love your analysis! This deserves more views.
The music of this game is so beautiful and gives an immense experience while listening to it. Such a lovey game to play everyday for sometime. Hats a lot to all musician to put their efforts in this game.

Really liked the graphics you had with each song :). Genshin has a lot of content, I listen to the characters themes from the trailers all the time as I walk around and they can really get stuck in your head.
For the character trailers, I usually find the 5 star ones are of better quality, but even the 4 star ones have hidden gems.
I think my favorite 4 star ones would be Fischls and Dionas. Fischls just sounds so unmistakably her, and Diona has some interesting guitar noises that sound like cat noises.
Probably the best 5 star ones for me would be Zhongli and Hu Tao! But there are some other great ones as well.

Ikr??? Even if you're not playing, but when you hear the music your imagination instantly get transported to the universe of Genshin. It even came to a point where I had a Genshin music playlist playing while taking an exam, fell asleep, and jolted awake when the Inazuma battle music came on. Music in general evokes something emotional in us, but personally, Genshin music is a visceral experience
@@erilayne260 Oh my gosh, that's similar to me! When the music plays my mind automatically creates these scenarios of like me in the world of Genshin. I also listen to the music when I draw, kind of like how you were listening to it while taking your exam.

I like this Video . But here is a tip to make it even better
instead of cutting your voice completely to make the Viewer listen to the music, you can say what you want as the music plays in the background and slowly lower your Voice until the beat drops . Then you can stay silent for a second to let the viewer indulge in it before repeating the process on different segment or complete what you wanted to say before the beat dropped.
I am not the most confident about my English but I hope my point came across smoothly. Of course you shouldn't follow this tip religiously, but I think it's a good starting point Untill you find your style whether by alternating between this and what you already did in the video or using a completely different method from those two.
I don't know. I definitely prefer the sharper cuts. It just helps not to get distracted from the music which is the focus point of the video. So... I think sharper cuts suit music videos more, since they clearly separate the speech from music
Genshin is a game almost completely based on music. That's why I always agree to the man from yt who said "when they said "wearing headphones will improve your experience". They never lied".

First off, best video about genshin Impact music, second this really brought back memories, it's been very long since i went to monstadt
their composers are talented, also they don't use computer behind the recording (I guess) so it would sounds humanic and not sounds calculated like the computer one.
This is such a good analysis of the OST. I wish you will delve more onto the musical motifs and themes established in the soundtracks.
