The beautiful thing is that the things that you learned along the way to the covenant path prepared you to stay on the covenant path. I left the church for 17 years and the things I learned on my way back were necessary to prepare me. I'm grateful that you've found the church and the peace that comes from the covenants of baptism, the sacrament, temple endowments that you will soon experience. Revel in the miracles that are happening and the light that is opening in your heart and mind. It is a marvelous and sustaining experience.

Very nice David. My ancestors were Baptist and I appreciate where you are coming from. My grandfather and his brother talked to the Mormon missionaries there in Kentucky and decided to be baptized. They didn't tell their wives, which included my grandmother who I believe taught Sunday School in the Baptist Church. My grandmother was not very happy with my grandfather. Well, they moved from Kentucky to Arizona and my grandmother was finally baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 3 years later. My grandmother become a very strong LDS church member. Baptist make good Mormons. Ed

Brother David Alexander, your testimony and missionary work is so unique and important because you teach that the Church is true THROUGH THE BIBLE. That’s very unique. You can reach the hearts of people in a different way because you know the Bible so well, like the back of your hand, as you say, reaching people that only believe in the Bible. You have a special calling and mission from the Lord to share your testimony online, your enthusiasm is inspiring. You’re helping members of the Church that aren’t very strong in the faith and also people that might be looking for the true Church. I hope your channel will grow so fast. You’re doing a great work!

He dosen't yet have a testimony as powerful as what I have received but He was already converted to the Lord before coming onto the Covenant Pathway. Every member of the church has a testimony at different levels. When we receive more greater light and knowledge from God our testimony increases or grows, we are laid under a rule by God to only share that which the Spirit tells us.
So with his experience in his 47 years being in the Evangelical Faith, I liked his experience to that water pump video of the Church that is almost bone dry that only a drop of water finally comes coughing out of the pump after doing lots of pumping away at the handle. Whereas with Living Prophets, there are fountains of living waters overflowing in abundance and is not a stubborn water pump in the desert that takes ages to pump before a drop of water starts to finally appear after exhausting itself and a drop of water is all you can get from it.. So I likened his 47 roller coaster ride to that water desert pump.
With the Evangelical Christians the well is almost bone dry because they hewed out for themselves broken cisterns that cannot hold living water. Wells without water... When David says the Evangelicals take verses of one or two scriptures to use that to deny the rest of the other bulk teachings that support the gospel bible principles, they are hewing out for themselves broken cisterns that cannot hold living water.
Sola Scriptora is a broken cistern or one of the broken cisterns of the world that people hewn out for themselves. A broken
cistern is of no lasting worth for it cannot hold the living water and leaks. So spiritual growth and light is limited with scriptura sola.
      .

I don't think I'd feel comfortable recording my testimony, but I'd like to share an experience.
I was raised in the church and had a genuine love for the gospel but some time ago when I was in my late teens (I think) I remember watching a documentary on TV about the story of Noah, the documentary effectively made the story out to be nothing more than a fairytale, backed up with the best scientific understanding of our time!
I was so troubled by what I had watched, I thought if that story isn't true what else that I believe isn't true? I went out to pray that night in a local field, I'd had one or two experiences with prayer in the past but needed an answer now more than ever as I felt a bad seed had been planted in my mind that would lead me away from my faith if not delt with immediately.
I knelt and prayed for a while, got up started walking home but didn't feel I had really connected, so knelt again prayed again and again until I felt I had given all I could.
After my final prayer there was a strong gust of wind which was very odd as it was such a still night, I took it as a sign that my prayer had been heard. I was confident that heavenly father knew my heart and knew how much it meant to me to receive knowledge at this time.
I went to bed for a few hours but was woken up early by the most powerful feeling, it was as if I was being slowly dipped in to a furnace, I could even hear the roaring flames. During this experience a voice more powerful than anything I can effectively describe, I think in scripture I read 'a voice of many waters' is the closest description, the voice said three times Enos, Enos, Enos. Me, not knowing the scriptures well went searching in the Bible for the book of Enos, as I was certain that I was supposed to read it. After flicking through the bible a couple of times I realised it wasn't in there. So I grabbed the book of Mormon, found it! I read the story of a young man praying through the night, who's prayer reached the heavens and heard the voice of the Lord. It was the perfect answer and served as a protection to me when I later stumbled across all of the anti Mormon Literature. Though I didn't have all answers to all questions I knew the book of Mormon was true and that if the book of Mormon was true then Joseph Smith was a true prophet called of god, I also learned to trust in the Holy Ghost above the wisdom of man.

@@anonanon2396 - The judgment seat of Christ involves a time in the future when believers will give an account of themselves to Christ. This is the plain teaching of Scripture: “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10). The warning is to Christians, not unbelievers. As Jesus taught in His parable, the king is going to return, at which time he will require an account from his servants (Luke 19:11-26).
The judgment seat of Christ is different from the Great White Throne Judgment. That will be the final judgment of the wicked prior to their being cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). Appearing before the Great White Throne will be unbelievers. Believers will appear before the judgment seat."

Bearing your testimony is powerful. It is an act of will that enables the Testator to confirm the truth of it to those who listened and are earnestly seeking truth. It is closely related to the spirit of prophecy and the spirit of revelation.
John learned in vision that it was a key factor in overcoming the adversary in the pre existence. It seems likely to be a key factor in winning the continuance of that conflict on the earth.
Is it any wonder the adversary wants to silence all who disagree with him?
    Revelation 19:10
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

You are such a bright light and your enthusiasm for the gospel has been the most refreshing thing I have experienced since I can’t even remember when. I have evangelical family members who over the years made that phrase “The Bible says…” feel like I was being smacked with the Bible each time I heard it. As a child I feared any mention of the Bible because the word “Bible” became a painful world. It reminded me of a weapon. Whereas the Book of Mormon brought me peace. All these years later I have grown to love the Bible along with Book of Mormon.
I had also once feared crosses because these family members wore crosses and were brutal to me and my family because we are Latter-day Saints. As a child and teenager I became afraid of people who wore crosses because I knew if they found out I was LDS they would crucify me.
Decades later I’m confident in my testimony and faith and these things no longer worry me. 😄 I think that’s why so many of us enjoy your videos and testimony. It’s not very often we meet an evangelical who is passionate about the restored gospel, let alone gets baptized and wants to share! Thank you a million times over for making these videos. ❤

We will fall because that is the nature of our mortal experience and this world, but if we continue to work at becoming more like Christ and continue to repent daily, then through the power of Christ's atonement we will be forgiven and our sins will be washed away through the blood of Christ and our sins will no longer be remembered by God the Father, thus making us closer to being worthy and prepared to be in His presence one day when our judgement comes and hopefully be worthy to be saved in the kingdom of God called the Celestial Kingdom, IF we make and keep sacred covenants like the proper baptism done through the literal power of God called the Priesthood by those who worthily hold it, passed down to them through those who hold it, originating from Jesus Christ himself.
We must be baptized by immersion, receive the Holy Ghost as a gift given through the Priesthood in a separate ordinance, then receive endowments that are further covenants made with God to bring us closer to His presence and His kingdom and to Eternal Salvation and Life.
That was a lot. For sure.
The answers to affirm this are found in all scripture and through living Prophets that have been called of God, and through the Holy Ghost speaking the truth of these things to an open and wanting heart and mind.
Trust in these things. Trust in David's testimony. Trust in God. Trust in the Holy Ghost to testify to your heart of truth and you will come to know and learn of these things for yourself.

@@littleredhen3218- indeed, share the Gospel but make sure you have the Holy Spirit indwelling you (Romans 8:9). Right?
"Everyone tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruit you will recognize them [as false prophets].
"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands].’" (Matt 7:19-23)

@@LisaPFrampton- what you are stating is that salvation is dependent on daily repentance. Though I agree a born again believer in Christ should walk in repentance, he/she should not walk in fear of losing salvation. Why? Justification is a work of God, not something I achieve by doing good things. Salvation is the promise that God started the work in me and will continue to refine me until I take my last breath on earth and enter into His presence. Once a person has turned from their sinful ways and receives forgiveness of sins, God's Holy Spirit enters them, seals them as a child of God, and empowers them to live a Godly life. It is no longer I that lives but Christ in me. I was purchased with a price and no longer belong to myself. Jesus said, "I give them life and they will never perish - All that the Father gives me, I shall not lose one". This is His promise for those who are indwelt with God's Spirit.

Hi David! Even though we live on opposite sides of the planet, we are kindred spirits in many ways. I live in Utah and am a 9th generation member of the Lord's restored church. My daughter is the 10th generation and the 11th generation is around the corner (in ten years or so). We are descended from Joseph and Polly Knight, close friends of Joseph Smith and his family. Like Joseph Knight, I feel a very strong connection to the Prophet Joseph. I have also felt strong connections to other modern and ancient day prophets, including President Nelson. I am very grateful for my membership in the Lord's church and for yours. It is truly amazing to me how the Lord does His work and how He draws towards Himself all who will hear and respond to His voice. I have really appreciated hearing your testimony through many videos and have felt the witness of the Holy Ghost several times confirming certain things you have said. I look forward to many more such experiences! Your brother in the Gospel, Aaron.

I know that sharing our testimonies with each other and through social media, we can all help to reach those who are searching for the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have a testimony that Christ has restored his church on the earth again today and that we have a prophet on the earth today and apostles to guide us and lead us through these troubled times.
I know they have been given the authority to work in the name of Jesus Christ.
I know by following these leaders, we will stay on the straight path that will lead us back into the presence of our Heavenly Father. We will go through hard times, but the Holy Ghost has been given to us to personally guide us and strengthen us. Jesus Christ loves us and wants us to succeed. Pray with gratitude and pray for what you need. Study the scriptures that you may have understanding. Be ready to except his will and not your own. Always put him first in whatever you do. You will then have a joy within you that the world cannot touch. Remember that Christ has overcome the world. It will all be worth it. I testify of these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hey David, love your testimony and this channel! I'm wondering if you could help me understand how Evangelicals and other Christian faiths who claim to know the Bible can justify their believe in the Trinity (One God - God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one personage). It makes no sense when I read the New Testament. I'm not sure how someone who knows the Bible would think that God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit aren't three distinct personages. When Christ prays, he doesn't pray to himself. He's not crazy. He talks about doing "His Father's will". When Christ was baptized, a voice spoke from heaven saying, "This is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased", and Christ is in the water, and the Holy Spirit descended in the form of a dove. That shows 3 distinct individuals. When Christ was on the cross, he said "Father forgive them..." Why didn't he say, "I forgive you"...When the resurrected Christ appeared to Mary, he told her not to touch him because he hadn't ascended to his Father in heaven yet. If God the Father and Jesus Christ are the same being, this statement makes absolutely no sense at all. But if they are separate personages, it makes total sense. Also, when Stephen was being stoned, he looked up into heaven and saw Jesus standing on the right hand side of God the Father. Two distinct personages. So I'm not sure how Christians reading the bible (new testament) can think there is only one God, and that Jesus is talking to himself and praying to himself (God the Father). It just doesn't make any sense. Christ isn't a lunatic. So how can mainstream Bible loving Christians believe the Trinity nonsense???

John Berry, there is a really good channel that helps people understand how evangelicals see the scriptures. If you look up come follow me FAIR you should be able to find it. Jennifer Roach was raised in an evangelical mega church and later became an ordained minister in the Anglican church. Through a small series of miracles, she ended up joining the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints a few years ago. She knows what both evangelicals and Latter-day saints mean when certain religious terms are used and she is a skillful interpreter. I have learned so much from her videos. I used to be absolutely perplexed when people would say we didn't believe in Jesus or that we had a "different " Jesus. Now, I finally know what they mean, even though they are wrong.

Of course, the Truth needs constant reinforcement and promotion and defence....because it is under the constant assault of the Accuser of the Brethren, of the Liar and the Father of Lies, the Prince of the Power of the Air, the spirit which is at work in the sons of disobedience....who constantly stander, oppose and assault the truth....so this is why...Paul, in Hebrews 3:12-15, commands those who love the truth...to DAILY EXHORT ONE ANOTHER.
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
      14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
