- This is my second video, This game is quite hard, but by studying the enemy and my character Blaze took extra careful, I record it in fusion emulator and only one segment, I failed several times and had to repeat it again from beginning of the game.
there is a part that scared me and need to very careful almost failed is in elevator(stage 3 and stage 5), Boss Robo-X and Jet. but glad it's done by not losing any life :-D hope you guys enjoy and don't forget to subscribe

"The bustle of daily life has wiped the event from everyone's minds"? Really? I don't think a nuclear-like explosion that killed who knows how many people and irradiated the same area for untold amounts of years would be easily forgotten....ahh...the 90s.
I could never understand why they felt the need to change this story in the west. I know Japan loves its heavy-handed anti-nuke stories more than the rest of us and with good reason, but Metal Gear did just fine.
The music is good! It fits the atmosphere! SoR2 gives the vibe of leisurely strolling down the streets dealing out some vigilante justice.
This soundtrack gives that sense of foreboding like how you’d feel if you were on a time-sensitive mission that would determine if everyone in the city lives or dies and that surreal feeling that everyone around you is an enemy.
Believe it or not, I am trying to decipher the original Japanese text of this game, but I appreciate the fact that this game was patched. Our version (US) underwent extensive editing before it was released here.

Hahaha now I know the whole story, back then I was a kid, I was played the Japanese version, and I don't know the story of it. Thank you for this english patch.
It is like 25-30 years already… to be honest I did not care much about the story back then, anyway. Just smash them ( or stay alive to be exact lol )
This game was gritty and I loved the sense of dread SOR3 had going for it. They showed you that death toll from the first explosion, so the fear of failure is set in as soon as you press start.
Time to suit up, and kick some ass.
This Streets of Rage 3 really did have an excellent soundtrack. The only thing that held it back was the sounds of the instruments chosen. It really did succeed at creating this serious bad ass distress sound it was going for.
The instruments are ok, I think it's let down by inconsistency and that goes for the gameplay especially nearer the end of the game. For example Stage 1-1, that tune is great but is used too often, it's used on many levels and even on both final bosses. And then there's the Ninja subway at 4-2, I barely even recognise that as a tune, and that entire level is just ninjas. And that second to last boss fight, that music is about 5 minutes long, and yet you only ever heard the first 10 seconds due to easily jump attack on the spot and killing it easily.
the truly great game is SOF 2 ... SOF 1 as well, but it's older. SOF3 was just a remix of SOF2 so to speak
Blaze is one tough cookie to beat 💓
I like this game so much and recently, when i completed SoR3 on very hard as blaze again, i wanted to watch someone else's walkthrough.
Let me say, alternate ending is hardest than this, but i'm still thinking Jet is the most difficult boss in both ways. I tried to use hints, glitches and bugs (like standing on same line with Neo X and use jump kicks on timing), but this flying bastard dont have it at all! One time i lost one life on him, one time i lost one life in white house because of powerful common enemies. Inside the house too many of them and they are really very dangerous. At that point Shiva as final boss not so difficult even with his block ability. And literally easiest if you have 3-star supermove.

This game is very easy from what I remembered, finished it on my first playthrough when I bought it. Much easier than the US version which is modified.
Yeah weirdly Very Hard is easier than even Easy on the western release. It's a shame because I prefer the Japanese version in almost every way. But the too easy difficulty makes the game pretty dull to play, so in the end I just myself playing the western release hacked ROM which corrects all the colors and voices of the characters. There sadly is no official perfect release of this game.

@@MeganeGuy Yeah, he says Bare knuckle, the name of the game for some reason, which I think is stupid, especially since the voice for grand upper is still in the cartridge...

im using 6 button, (on sega controller) X button to start special attack, Simply press X button and then enter the directions given. for blaze move lvl 3 is X, Down, Forward, Up , you can find search for special star move sets for more
In the format of Bare Knuckle 3 that I have,they only seem to have the texts in Japanese lettering in the cut scenes.How do I set them to English?Anybody that can help would be greatly appriciated.

I must say SEGA went and completely ruined the western release of this.
Thankfully on consoles today you can choose to play the Japanese or the PAL SOR3. Japanese Bare Knuckle 3 FTW though.
I played this and part 2 with a turbo pad, you especially need it on part 3.

If you need to make another Streets of Rage 5,then you should put in more food items....like mushrooms, carrots,turkey legs,hot dogs,cake,etc.

That's supposed to be Mr. X, the dialogue implies it's due to the damage his body took from the heroes in the first two games.
It doesn't make sense though, cuz u see Mr. X in his darkroom in the other endings.

.... there were moments where he got hit and took zero damage. Wow WAY too easy. I've always been one to prefer a challenge.. sor3 being really hard never bothered me. I also loved the color changes. It made the game feel fresh. If they bring Skate back in sor4. I hope he rocks the sor3 color skim since cherry and adam are already rocking the yellow. Back on subject... I eventually got to the point of doing deathless runs with my man skate in it. All I wish is that they never tampered with the story of the game and that's it.

Periculum Magnum compared to the first two games, its pretty horrible. It sucks that yuzo koshiro didn't do the music.
