You’ve hardly scratched the surface of how busted this character can be! Definitely time to play on a higher difficulty

This character scales even harder with the infinite pocket upgrade since not only his weapon but also a lot of the upgrades on his sheet scale with gold.

id love an endless run with this character also the bottomless pocket upgrade removes the gold cap or at least raises it drastically

Have you tried the game: Keeper's Toll? it's a very fun game, recommend you trying that one, they just released a new class Pyromancer which is just insanely fun :D
I grew tired of Nordic Ashes after i unlocked everything after the Rogue character was released a few months ago (i think it was a rogue at least :P)
The common strat which most ppl use with Merchant (including me hehe) is so go around destroying as many boxes as possible to get as much gold as you can which will enable you to buy tons of items in the shop and still retain enough gold to do a lot of dmg with coin, Merchant can be really OP if you get really lucky in the shop, but can also be garbage if you get hit just even 1 time in higher difficulties due to the gold loss hurting you a TON in higher difficulties.
Also, the yellow rings you picked up and used pulls in any gold on the map, so as Merchant you always want one and use it just before you kill a boss so it gathers all the gold you might have missed.

I actually have, played it before it's name change several months back. It was a little rough at the time. I saw the updates, I'll check it out and give pyromancer a shot.
