Nice system, the adjustable feet need rubber to prevent those hard metal feet from denting your wooden floors. It's nice your attic is a storage space but you need to be strategic in where you place whatever you want to store up there. If anything breaks you are going to be playing Tetris moving boxes or whatever so your mechanics or you can access your systems.

If you'd staggered the planking to begin with you have enough room there when the hatch swings down to have a staggered 'edge' to the planking covering the hatch so you _could_ have made it _more_ concealed, _maybe_ totally if you did an excellent job, but as it is it's actually pretty obvious imo. Very, very cool but it's obvious it's there and I'm not saying it just for the sake of criticizing it - it's a great job in any case but a burglar would notice it immediately Matt so don't convince yourself otherwise. Who _wouldn't_ run a complete length of planking down that hallway given the rest of the ceiling? Whereas, if it were all staggered then you could use that to your advantage and really blend in that break line.
