- If you had to ditch dairy due to lactose intolerance, this video might make you want to reevaluate. Sometimes, it is not about the dairy and more about the source and how it is processed. In this video, I had the opportunity to visit Whispering Pines Farm in Seneca, South Carolina, where I learned the differences between cow, goat and sheep’s milk (yes, sheep!). Plus, I learned all the health benefits of sheep's milk... simply amazing!
HUGE THANK YOU to Debbie Webster (owner of Whispering Pines Farm) and Carly Black for allowing me to come visit and learn from them.

As someone with an autoimmune disorder, I appreciate you teaching people about the benefits of sheep milk, goat's milk, and kefir. Bless you! I would pay anything for sheep milk and kefir if my children had inherited my affliction. ❤
Thank you
Goats and sheep are my fave farm animals because of same reason, they are mentioned many times in the bible. And seeing them together in this video is so blissful.
I recently discovered sheep’s milk in the grocery aisle and I have to say it’s awesome. Very easy to digest.
What a wonderful farm, they are doing great things…… and thanks Kim for taking us there.
Thanks for watching. 😊
Love this! Didn't knwo there was such a farm in Seneca. I am a bit of a sheep milk feta snob. I grew up in Canada on real sheep/goat feta and didn't have the cow feta until I moved here. Boy is is different. I say sheep cheese is a little tangy. I would love to tast the other products they have there!
You’re right. There is such a difference. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing.
Very awesome Eye Opener documentary, we are going to have sheep for livestock.
Thank you. Until I went to visit this farm, I had never tried sheep milk, yogurt, or cheese. All of them were delicious.
What they say about pasteurization is so true! Great video! Oh, and lamb and goat meat taste delicious, btw.
I am definitely getting some sheep.
I have another video coming out soon with more details. 😊
yeah, i didnt know about sheep milk till i saw the title of this video, its crazy we live in a world where we came up with almond milk for the masses but most dont know about sheeps milk
@@venusc5709 That does make you wonder what’s up for sure.

Casey Means & Calley Means know.
It's not good.
Watch Tucker Carlsons interviewing them just 5 days ago.
The Healthcare $ystem is way out of control.
Well wishes.
I have MS and I thrive off of raw goat and sheep milk! Sheep has been my favorite dairy by far the taste is just heavenly
That is so good to hear. Do you have a sheep farm near where you live?
So good!!! Loved this adventure!!
You did a great job 🎥 ❤️
How long after lambing should you wait until milking ewe sheep? Thank you!
Deb from Whispering Pines Farm, located in Seneca SC, should be able to answer that question.
Here in the Uk i''m struggling alot to find raw goat or sheep milk. I can Only really find raw cow. What do you think is more beneficial for digestion pasterized goat/sheep or raw cow? Thanks Aidan
From my understanding, sheep is naturally pasteurized, unlike the others. I would see if it’s (hopefully) low temp pasteurized and not homogenized. Homogenized is a double whammy! If I couldn’t find raw or low temp, I wouldn’t drink it at all since it has negative effects. I will do a video on this soon because it is so important.
@@KimberlyMcIntyre Thank you I will investigate. I'm not really into the milk TBh it's more yogurt and cheese. So what about those? also the raw A2 cow cheeses?
Wiw this is great information!
Awesome!!
Do you milk Shetland sheep as well?
That’s a good question for Deb. I will ask her and get back to you.
@@KimberlyMcIntyre thank you, i think its possible they are too small….
I was looking for farms near me to buy Friesian Sheep, and I came across your farm. Now I just found this video. You are 6 hrs from me. I assume that's not to far for transfer given the proper trailer? Are you still selling them? Website shows babies from 2022. Thank you.
You can contact her directly. Her number is on her website. Good luck. Sheep are so fun. www.whisperingpinesdairy.com/

😁 Mine fav is sheep.
i love sheep milk yogurt. Trying to find sheep milk for purchase to make my own---so far no luck.
Where are you located?
@@KimberlyMcIntyreNE Illinois.
@@lllee3476 bummer. I guess goat milk is more popular there. ☹️
Anyone know if this milk is safe to drink for someone with Alpha Gal Syndrome? My daughter has it and is allergic to red meat and therefore cannot have dairy(cow or goat)
Deb, from Whispering Pines Farm is highly educated and might be able to answer that question. Her website is www.whisperingpinesdairy.com/
Nobody is allergic to red meat
@FisherKot11235 they are now. Post specific tick bite. Can last for several years.
Can you make butter from Sheep Milk?
Yes you can 😊
@@KimberlyMcIntyre Thank you, I guess what I meant to ask was, does it taste as good?
@@cannotbeshaken7889 I haven’t tried yet. I am visiting a sheep farm tomorrow and will make a video on it soon. 😊
@@KimberlyMcIntyre Oh, cool!
How?
LOVING this video, gonna check out their website. I want to have a sheep & goat farm. American Homestead had a video explaining why they started pasturizing. Apparently, I think during the Industrial Revolution, they wanted fresh milk in the city for the workers, so they started trying to raise cows in the city under horrible conditions and non-natural diets, and the milk had issues, hence pasturization (which kills off a lot of the good stuff that you want, and raw milk will actually kill bad bacteria as I've heard, just make sure it's cleanly collected).
@@elijahsanders1891 Yes, and when we are consuming products that are void of nutrients, it causes the body to search for them. The pasteurization process kills the enzymes and a lot of the nutrients; therefore, it will pull from its own sources causing nutritional deficiencies. This is why raw (or low temp. pasteurized) is very important. Thank you for commenting and sharing this information. 😊
What breed of sheep?
That is a good question. www.whisperingpinesdairy.com

😊
Does anyone do Sheep milk ice cream?
Good question. I will find out!
I would like to know how. I have sheep and the milk has no butter because it is dissolved in the milf itself. If you make yogurt the cream is tasty and I would not exchange it for an ice cream.
I'm sure it's great for you but when I was a kid I maintained a hundred head of sheep and man they stunk and ever since then anything I eat or drink that's of the sheep I can smell that in the milk and in the cheeses.
@@guywilliams3108 That’s awful. 😅I’d have a problem with that too!
I drank raw milk from a neighbor's cow till I was 5 years old, never got sick
It’s the best. 😊
🧠
Prophet Muhammad Pbuh drank raw sheep's milk
A baby speep is a lamb. A ewe is a mature female or a ewe lamb indicates an immature female.
60% of meat eaten in the world 🌎 is goat. I was surprised 😮
Wow, I wouldn’t have thought that. And I never eat goat. 😅
I hope the sheep are not given female harmones like cows who' udders get so big that they can barely walk, and they get cystitis....poor cows. I feel so sorry for how they are treated.
