@@julia7070 he literally wasn’t as bad as everyone makes out 💀 you forget these characters are supposed to be like 16, they lash out and have dumb reactions because they’re kids. Dean also improves a lot when he and Rory get back together, he was never possessive the way people say he was. I’m rewatching rn and he didn’t even question Rory when she said she wanted to have the night alone and he built her a damn car from scratch. Jess is insufferable to watch now that I’m older, I love Milo as an actor but Jess was just…a bratty angsty kid who made no sense with Rory. Dean always did stuff to make Rory happy like going to Chilton dances despite it not being his thing and putting up with Richard absolutely grilling him. Dean was just a nice guy, always refusing to fight and tried to be nice to Jess. He was never possessive when Jess came along, it was quite obvious Jess was trying to mess with him and Rory like the picnic episode…when she got mad at Lorelai telling her Dean was upset about her ditching him for Jess for the sake of a tradition. They use the excuse of Rory just seeing the good in everyone but she was putting who was practically a stranger over her own boyfriend and continued to do so :/

@@josie3255 yes he stabbed himself with a dagger he got at a outdoor selling event he was walking to our house from my grandmas it was around the corner and a swan attacked him the swan was protecting its babies but still he was holding the dagger in one hand and a rock in the other he went to throw the rock to distract it so they could get away and threw it the arm landed on top of the dagger he stabbed himself and my cousin wasn't a track star but he was that day we got him to the hospital he survived but we still hate swans hahahaha

Cause she doesn't support Rory’s decision to drop out of college, after telling everyone that dropping out of college is bad and that you'll never go back
And then she commits a felony because she was sad
Like the judge isn't gonna take pity on you because you were sad
And obviously, Mitchum was correct cause in the revival we see a 32-year-old Rory without a stable job and going into an interview with an attitude of “they're gonna hire me cause I'm Rory Gilmore and they want me”
Like they want people who are committed to the job, not someone who thinks that they can just walk in there and get it cause that's all that has ever happened to them
And Logan and Dean aren't helping her cause it just shows them giving her what she wants while being in relationships
And it's not like relationships that have barely started noooo
They are marriage and an engagement
Like I was (and still am) a team Logan fan in the original series cause he was committed to her and was a good boyfriend while giving her the adventure that she needed in her life
But in the revival and that one episode where he comes back and Rory and Logan get into the fight, I was a team Jess fan
Cause he actually motivated her to do things and made her work for them instead of just handing her the opportunity on a silver platter

I totally agree with u. Rory went from the actual definition of perfect to failure. I am team Jess as well...rory had major downfall with Logan and Dean. I think the show was trying to kinda give a sort of lesson that not everybody is perfect, those who look so perfect in everything are not really. I was inspired by her until she met Logan. The show lost real touch of rory gilmore. Only and only Jess kept her on her track by convincing her to go back to Yale. I'm kinda sad to have lost rory :(

Unpopular opinion:
I liked lanes story, I liked Dave (ofc) but I also liked Zach.
Lane didn’t get the exact life she wanted, but she got a good husband, and two sons. (Which in my opinion is more realistic) and she still plays with the band on the side.
Her life wasn’t perfect, but she has so many good things in her life. (And in my head she regrets little to nothing)
The random GG couples are on point!
The thing about Sookie's and lorelais house just made me re-think everything

I have been rewatching the show with my sister since thanksgiving, and I’m sorry to say, Lorelai and Max should have been endgame. Now that I’m older, the “slow burn” for Luke and Lorelai was such a waste. 😂 His stubbornness and one-sided mentality when it came to sharing his life (with April) was such a turn off. I don’t remember fully but something along the lines of what’s mine is mine, and yours is yours; and all LG wanted was to be included. They definitely would have been better as FWB.
