Maybe they wanted to, but after the bad to mediocre response for Battlefield V they axed all future content deliveries (Tides of War), and even if they did deliver it, they might actually not add the PTRS for balancing reasons, considering the Bolt action Boys and breech loading Pzb 39, they might add the PTRD instead,
