Maybe this song was written and performed by just just one gentleman who has since passed away. Written in obscurity and played only once on the radio as a favor. It's stuck in my head now.
The sad thing is, a lot of people think the song came from a band behind the Iron Curtain (countries of the USSR, like Poland, Russia, and East Germany.) It's quite possible that the government of the time might have made the band disappear. Some of those countries (Primarily Russia) have very poor standards of living even now, so it's also quite possible they might have kicked the bucket. Not to forget we did have that little thing called COVID recently, where people were kicking the bucket, especially if they were elderly. Seeing I was in my teens for most of the 80's, and now I'm in my 50's, whomever was performing that hit would be in their 60's or up. Sadly, you might be right about members of the band passing away. I don't think it was recorded by one person, though.

I think the best part is that the at least 3 people in the world who made this song don't even realize yet how famous they are about to be. Hopefully we find them, assuming they are still alive!!
@@tommyanimationstory5090 It has very similar riffs and style to many popular songs in the 80s. For example, part sounds like Queen's 'Radio Gaga'. Unless you were listening in the 80s it's unlikely you heard it lately. If you are one of the original listeners, would you mind sharing your story on the subreddit?
This needs to be played in a major Hollywood movie, or in a TV show. Playing chicken with the German copyright system on that level would probably get us an answer pretty quick.

Subways of your mind - FEX There's good reasons to believe that they are the ones who made this song. A user found an article talking about a band called FEX who won a talent contest in Bremen in Sep 1984 and that their music was described as rock with wave and pop influence. The article mentioned the people who were part of the band and the user said that he recognized one of them from a Horfest 83 band called Phret. The user got in touch with him and asked if he could send some of the songs they made. He did and the songs he send were; Heart in Danger Talking Hands Sunways of your Mind. The songs are up on youtube so make sure to include FEX when typing the songs in so that why you get better results. Theres a possibility (and anyone can correct me on this) that the one we've been listening to was actually a demo and the one FEX sent is the final version. The user told the band that their song is popular among the lost media. I guess theyre planning on getting back together to play the song together and i believe they are going to answer some of the questions people have. Now bare in mind while its very likely they're the ones who made it we can't exactly say the mystery is solved as the people who been researching this needs to find more evidence. So far, everything seem to point that what the people claimed to make the song are speaking the truth. I'm willing to believe what they say is true because I i find it hard to believe that they would go out of their way to make some darn good songs just to troll everyone. From the article and just the songs they've made, I do think they are the ones who made it. Plus a photo with their logo are available on reddit so checked it out. I'll try and update it if you guys want me too. It seems like the mystery has been solved. If you want more details I'll go back and edit it but I'll have to do it on my labtop so that way it'll be easier. If i get anything wrong let me know!
So you are trying to tell me that people recognized a million of songs from eras like the Mesopotamian, Incan, Aztec, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, etc. And not a song from the 80s?
Its funny because as it was only played on a radio we actually dont have too much stuff... to analyze, in a classic way. We can only look around, think and ask but we will never get something like a physical puzzle that archeologist are able to connect to each other and get to some conclusion. We're definitely in worse situation with this song than them haha. Funny thing is that - warning, im thinking too much - i assume that as the civilization will get more advanced, just as we are compared to for example ancient Egipt, we will get more and more troubles analyzing more "recent history". Take for example internet and the Macromedia flash Player. I have no idea how it was in USA but here in my country a lot of kids were raised by the games, movies and other content create with this technology - which is basically dead and will be eradicated in next few years. In the future, lets say 500 years in future if theres gonna be any research on this specific period of time then if they will not have it written somewhere that we had such stuff then it could be impossble for them to realize because theres not much to really get your hands on to analyze. Its all in the cloud, everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
these were famous back in those ages, the problem here is that this noname song from the 80's wasn't famous, so most of the ppl that heard it don't remember
Imagine opening this in front of your grandfather and your grandfather saying "oh those were the good days, I remember me and my band recording this music"
imagine being a guy who played at band when he was younger but his band wasn't successful, it broke up and he and another band members have never communicated again 40 years passed by, and now he is a husband and dad. he works in office and live ordinary life until one day he hears his child and their friends talking about The Most Mysterious Song On The Internet. he decides to find out a little bit more about it. he clicks on the first video with title "THE MOST MYSTERIOUS SONG ON THE INTERNET - FULL VERSION FOUND!" and after a few seconds he realases it's one of the last songs he and his band recorded.

Judging from what we know, they are older, but all four Members of FEX are still alive...
I have an idea! Lets put this song in a movie and sell it, i'm sure the copyright infringment will come right away.
Copyright can't come because we don't know who wrote it
But that's the idea, when the band see that someone is making money with their song, they'll want a piece of that pie too
@@xijinpingflamenguista1432 Ie, you want to say that these guys did not notice all this hype on the Internet with their song, but if you insert it into a random movie, then they will definitely show up? Genius, truly

Subways of your mind - FEX
There's good reasons to believe that they are the ones who made this song. A user found an article talking about a band called FEX who won a talent contest in Bremen in Sep 1984 and that their music was described as rock with wave and pop influence. The article mentioned the people who were part of the band and the user said that he recognized one of them from a Horfest 83 band called Phret. The user got in touch with him and asked if he could send some of the songs they made. He did and the songs he send were;
Heart in Danger
Talking Hands
Sunways of your Mind.
