Being from the U.S, I hadn’t heard about Gummiapan dies until watching your channel. When, in a previous video you mentioned the Gummiapan Advent Calendar, I ordered it right away. I too am thrilled that you are doing the Advent calendar again. I did the Crafters Companion Advent calendar for several years, but quit when the dies with matching stamps on one year were all very tiny... like under 2", I quit buying them. I kept all the tiny stamps and dies, but never used them until I saw your creations with Gummiapan dies. I just can't afford to do any more craft advent calendars, which makes your videos so much more appreciated, but now I have that small set to enjoy. Thank you for sharing your talents with us... After following your gummiapan Advent Calendar last year, I decided to order the 2023 one. I was so excited to receive it a few weeks ago... and wouldn't you know it... I was rushed to hospital on 1 December with acute appendicitis! So I'm now following your tutorials again until I get home, when I will still follow them, but also enjoy making them too!! Thanks Christine for making my hospital stay a little more enjoyable!!❤

I don't have a die cutting machine but I love your videos they way.
You never know you may get one some day, then you’ll know exactly what to do!
First thing, I had to stop the video and open my Day 1. I hadn't thought about the fact that there would be no surprise if I let you open yours first! Love that you're using last year's calendar, too. Of course, this card is just adorable! You sound much better today. I'm glad.
I recorded this one a few days ago... I'm feeling pretty rubbish today!😕
One thing I have noticed on a lot of these dies, they seem to be designed with 'cutting lines' making it easy to build a 3D image. December again, I cannot wait for the daily video.

I'm so excited to hear you will be doing another Advent series! My fingers are not flexible enough to work with very small dies, but I love watching you do it. And all the tips you give for coloring, layering and changing up dies work with all sizes of die cuts, so I learn new things each time. Many thanks and I'm hoping you're recouping (you sound much better). ❤

@@Chrissieannie Oh no! If it's not something contagious, maybe Cleo can film a few episodes with using some of your dies to give your voice a rest. We certainly want you fit and healthy. And there's no rules to say you have to show one per day. I'm sure all viewers would be happy to see a few catch up videos once you're feeling better. Oh my gosh. As soon as you open the die for day one I thought oh let’s put it in a little wreath and then when you put it in a little wreath, I was speachless😊. So excited for my advent calendar too. I might have to catch up because I still have a few Christmas cards to make. Lol.

Such sweet little houses and love the double layer wreath you used with them Chrissie. I was curious so I had a look at Day 1 last December and it was a tree attached to a circle which was very pretty too, and you used a piece of leftover gold foiled and Luscious Powdered piece which was very pretty too. x

I was wondering what you would do with them when I opened mine. It was only watching you last year that got me into Gummiapan and I ordered my calendar. I only have 1 house though. Has everyone else got 2? Thank you for taking the time to do this for us xxx
I had two, one small and one large, same as Christine
Last year I thought I had a missing nose for Santa, but it turned up. One of my dies had come out of the package and was amongst the other packets so take a good look!
I am watching in October 2024, as someone in a Danish Facebook group was asking about calendars with dies - and I knew that Gummiapan had made one this year also... and I was curious to see what one could expect if (dream on)... (but it is quite expensive...) ;-) Such fun... Do you know what Gummiapan means... It is Swedish, pronounced Gummi-AR-pan (gummi in a sort of north country accent...)- and means "the rubber monkey"... Cute. :-) Best regards from Denmark (not far from Gummiapan, actually - I was with a now former owner of an online shop at a convention once and we met the owner of Gummiapan... :-) - PS: Think I may need to tell my husband that I would like to try the calendar... unfortunately, my birthday isn't until February... haha..
The initial outlay for the calendars seems a lot, but when you consider the number of dies that you get, the cost is worth budgeting for ! I just love the products ! I did know the meaning as I met a Swedish lady on holiday once who was from Trelleborg!
