I have a question, do you think it is possible to improve my triple jump by 7-8 feet by the next track season, hopefully by the summer end? I have an okay first phase, but my 2nd phase is similar to that of most other high school jumpers, pretty much non-existent. Its more like larger step than an actual jump. My third phase as a result also isn't as good as it could be. Ive been doing my own training watching videos and have gotten better than the last season but my official distance is an measly 34ft 4.25in. Im also a highschool male junior. That distance is of course with a disgustingly high hop, a non existent step, and an subpar jump and also, sprint spikes. I have real TJ spikes and now I can get around 29-30 ft with only a one step approach. I havent been able to jump with a full approach because now that I carry my speed much better, it feels way too fast and I'm having trouble harnessing that which leads to terrible jumps. Truth is, 42 ft is the distance at which one can have a good standing to make state so I really want to ask the opinion of a pro. Is it possible to get my TJ there in that amount of time?
