Cette interprétation est à mon sens la meilleure qui nous soit proposée. J'admire la virtuosité de la flûtiste. La flûte traversière baroque, en bois, est la plus adaptée à cette musique élégante : le son y est plus doux, plus "rond", infiniment plus délicat que celui d'une flûte métallique. J'aime beaucoup cette partition de Boismortier, mon compatriote lorrain si peu connu en France alors qu'il est joué partout dans le monde et souvent avec brio, comme ici.

Sublime interprétation de cette suite de Bodin de Boismortier, un de nos grands maître de la musique baroque ! Je vais explorer ces 6 suites en utilisant la flûte à bec ténor et alto qui offrent une autre possibilité de sonorité caractéristique des instruments en bois. Encore un grand bravo aux deux artistes. Need a better mic on the flute, the harpsichord is over powering it

the baroque flute is just naturally quiet that's why modern flutes are metal

I think the opposite, can hardly hear the harpsichord. Flute is loud!

Any apparent imbalance is more likely due either to the mic positions or the acoustics of the hall than the fault of the performers. I did notice the higher passages on the harpsichord occasionally seemed to obscure the flute's lower register, but this is a problem with the scoring rather than the performance. Perhaps a little judicious editing is required.
